Senga is slated to start Monday's game against the Cubs at Citi Field.

Senga returned from the injured list last week and had a rocky performance in a 5-3 loss to the Reds, covering four innings and striking out five batters while yielding four earned runs on two hits and four walks. The right-hander now holds a 9.00 ERA and 1.88 WHIP over six starts with the big club, but the Mets seemingly came away from the rough outing encouraged by the fact that Senga's velocity was up. After his fastball routinely sat around the low-to-mid-90s during his rehab assignment, Senga maxed out at 97.9 mph during his start against Cincinnati, per Anthony DiComo of MLB.com. Senga will likely need to show better command to stick in the rotation for the long haul, he should have a decent amount of leash in the short term while the Mets are without Christian Scott (hip) and Clay Holmes (fibula).

Williamson (shoulder) tossed a bullpen session Saturday, his first since landing on the injured list April 30, Charlie Goldsmith of Fox 19 Now Cincinnati reports.

Though Williamson is expected to remain out through the All-Star break, he's making progress with his throwing program at the Reds' facility in Arizona and could be ready to start facing hitters within the next two or three weeks. Williamson posted a 6.11 ERA and 1.64 WHIP in 28 innings over six starts with Cincinnati before being deactivated due to left shoulder fatigue.

Scott (hip) is scheduled to throw a simulated game Monday, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

The 27-year-old right-hander has been dealing with a hip impingement, but he's feeling much better after receiving a shot last week. A timeline for Scott's return to the rotation should come into focus after the sim game, but he could bypass a rehab assignment and potentially returning from the 15-day injured list as soon as this weekend. Through nine starts for the Mets this season, Scott has produced a 3.10 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 47:19 K:BB through 40.2 innings.

Drake could be a candidate to start or work in bulk relief Wednesday against the Cardinals, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

The Diamondbacks received a boost Sunday when Jose Cabrera came up from Triple-A Reno and filled in admirably as a starter in place of the injured Ryne Nelson (elbow), but the club still needs to address another hole in the rotation created by Michael Soroka's (glute) move to the injured list. Like Cabrera, Drake had been serving as a starter at Reno and was also called up Sunday, but Drake wasn't needed to provide length out of the bullpen in the Diamondbacks' 4-2 loss to the Twins while Cabrera covered five innings. If he continues to go unused in relief in the first two games of the Cardinals' series in St. Louis, Drake would make for a logical choice to serve as Soroka's replacement in the rotation.

Snell (elbow) threw off a mound to a standing catcher Saturday, Sonja Chen of MLB.com reports.

Snell has yet to throw a proper bullpen session since undergoing a NanoScope procedure May 19 to address loose bodies in his left elbow, but he appears to be on the precipice of doing so now that he's completed a flat-ground throwing progression. The left-hander will remain on the shelf through the All-Star break, but he could have a shot at returning early in the second half of the season if he experiences no setbacks while ramping up his throwing in the coming weeks.

Junk (shin) threw a pitch-design session Friday and could be cleared to face hitters in live batting practice during the upcoming week, MLB.com reports.

Junk seems to be making good progress in his recovery from a right shin bone inflammation, which sent him to the injured list May 31. Once Junk resumes facing hitters, a minor-league rehab assignment should follow shortly thereafter. Junk may need just one start in the minors before slotting back into the Miami rotation, potentially in the first week of July.

May did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Royals, allowing six runs on six hits and one walk while striking out two over two innings.

May endured his shortest outing of the season Sunday, tossing 44 pitches to complete two innings before being lifted. The right-hander allowed two runs in the first inning and further unraveled in the second, serving up a pair of two-run homers to Nick Loftin and Jac Caglianone. Despite the early damage, May surprisingly exited with the lead thanks to St. Louis erupting for nine runs over the first two innings. The outing was a stark contrast from his recent form, as he entered Sunday coming off back-to-back scoreless starts, including a one-hit shutout in his previous appearance. May will take a 4.30 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 77:22 K:BB to face Miami at home in his next scheduled start.

Wheeler (7-1) earned the win Sunday, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks over 5.2 innings against the Mets. He struck out seven.

Wheeler fell one out shy of a quality start as his control wavered in the sixth inning, but the right-hander still turned in a strong enough outing to earn his seventh win. The 36-year-old has looked great in June, posting a 1.82 ERA and 0.93 WHIP while going 3-0 across four starts spanning 24.2 innings this month. Wheeler will take a 2.11 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 69:18 K:BB through 68.1 innings (11 starts) into his next outing, tentatively scheduled for Friday in a rematch with the Mets.

Sheehan (3-5) took the loss Sunday, allowing six runs on eight hits and three walks over 3.1 innings against Baltimore. He struck out four.

Sheehan was knocked around early and often, allowing runs in each of his first three innings before being lifted with one out in the fourth frame and two runners on base, both of whom came around to score. Home runs have been a serious issue for the 26-year-old, as Sunday's long balls by Taylor Ward (second inning) and Colton Cowser (third inning) marked the fifth time this season that Sheehan has surrendered multiple homers. After posting a 2.82 ERA and 0.97 WHIP in 13 regular-season starts spanning 73.1 innings in 2025, the right-hander has struggled to a 5.32 ERA and 1.30 WHIP through 67.2 innings (14 starts) in 2026. His next start is lined up for next Sunday against San Diego.

Zazueta was promoted to Double-A Tulsa on Sunday, Kiley McDaniel of ESPN.com reports.

Zazueta will move up a level in the Dodgers' minor-league farm system after producing a 3.88 ERA and 0.98 WHIP with 66 punchouts over 48.2 innings in 11 appearances, including 10 starts, with High-A Great Lakes so far this season. The 21-year-old will look to continue his early-season success against some tougher competition at the Double-A level.
