Kelly allowed two runs on six hits and a walk over six innings during Friday's loss to the Twins. He struck out nine and did not factor in the decision.

Kelly looked terrific Friday aside from the two solo homers he coughed up. He produced his highest strikeout total since May 28 and has now turned in two quality starts in three outings since returning from the injured list. The veteran righty has produced a 3.21 ERA with a 118:42 K:BB through 112 innings. Kelly is expected to face the Dodgers at home next week.

Davies (back) is scheduled to pitch a simulated game Saturday, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.

Davies will throw 3-to-4 innings or about 55 pitches. The right-hander has already served the 15-day minimum and can be activated at any time.

Feltner (head) will throw a bullpen session Saturday, MLB.com reports.

Feltner was cleared to begin throwing again in late July after recovering from a fractured skull and subsequent serious concussion symptoms. He is set to throw two bullpen sessions per week for a few weeks and then progress to a rehab assignment. That won't leave him much time to return during the regular season, though manager Bud Black told the media that both the team and Feltner believe it's important for him to get back on the mound prior to the winter to clear any mental hurdles that may exist due to his injury.

Nola (9-8) took the loss Friday, allowing five runs on eight hits and one walk over 5.1 innings against Kansas City. He struck out eight.

The eight strikeouts were a silver lining in an otherwise disappointing outing for Nola, who was on track for the victory having allowed only two runs through the first five innings. Things then fell apart for the Phillies ace in the sixth, when he allowed a solo home run to lead off the frame, followed by a double and a walk. Nola was pulled and both runners went on to score, saddling him with his eighth loss. Nola will look to rebound next week when he gets a likely home start against the Nationals. He has now allowed 13 runs over his past three starts and will be looking for his first win since July 18.

Darvish allowed two runs on five hits and struck out four without walking a batter over seven innings in a no-decision versus the Dodgers on Friday.

Darvish put the Padres in a position to win, but the bullpen melted down over the final two frames to squander his quality start. He's posted four quality starts in five outings since the All-Star break, with the lone exception a seven-run disaster versus the Pirates on July 24. Darvish is now at a 4.41 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 121:38 K:BB through 114.1 innings over 20 starts this season. He's projected for a road start in Seattle next week.

Miller allowed two runs (one earned) on six hits and a walk while striking out three over 3.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Padres on Friday.

Miller needed 82 pitches (49 strikes) to get 11 outs in an inefficient start. The right-hander has given up nine runs (eight earned) over 19.1 innings across his four appearances since the All-Star break. He's at a 4.26 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 62:17 K:BB through 63.1 innings across 12 starts overall. Miller is projected for a tough road start in Arizona next week, and he may be at risk of losing his place in the rotation if the Dodgers opt to put Ryan Yarbrough in his place in the coming weeks.

Priester yielded three runs on five hits and three walks over four-plus innings in Friday's win over Milwaukee. He struck out three and did not factor in the decision.

Priester coughed up a pair of runs in the first inning but otherwise held the Brewers in check until Carlos Santana led off the fifth with a solo shot. Friday's start was Priester's shortest but it was also his first time allowing fewer than four runs. The right-handed rookie has registered an 8.69 ERA with a 16:14 K:BB through four career starts. Priester is currently lined up to face Atlanta at home next week.

Wainwright (3-6) allowed seven runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out five over three innings Friday, taking the loss versus the Rockies.

That wouldn't have been an unusual stat line in Colorado, but Friday's game was in St. Louis. Wainwright has yielded 13 runs over 14 innings while losing two of his three starts since he returned from a shoulder injury. The 41-year-old has a 7.81 ERA, 1.98 WHIP and 39:26 K:BB through 65.2 innings (14 starts) overall. The Cardinals are out of contention, so there's little chance they humiliate a franchise legend by removing him from the rotation over the last two months of the season. Wainwright is projected for a road start in Kansas City next week.

Corbin did not factor into the decision Friday, allowing three runs on four hits and one walk over 6.1 innings against the Reds. He struck out two.

While it goes down as a quality start for Corbin, he had more homers allowed than strikeouts, so it wasn't exactly an impressive performance. It could have been a lot worse -- all three homers were solo shots, and Corbin left the game in line for his 12th loss of the campaign before the Nationals rallied to take him off the hook. The left-hander has been one of the worst regular starters in baseball for several years now and nothing in his underlying stats points to significant improvement ahead.

Flexen (1-5) allowed three runs on 10 hits and struck out two without walking a batter over five innings Friday, earning the win over the Cardinals.

Flexen gave up solo home runs to Nolan Arenado and Nolan Gorman, but he was able to work himself out of some other jams in his first win of the season. The right-hander has been tagged for four homers over 8.2 innings in his two starts with the Rockies, but he did display better control Friday. Flexen has a 7.82 ERA, 1.93 WHIP and 35:25 K:BB through 50.2 innings this season between Colorado and Seattle. He's tentatively lined up for a road start in Milwaukee next week.
