Brewers manager Craig Counsell said Miley (lat) will return from the 15-day injured list to start Saturday's game against the Pirates, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Miley proved his health while tallying five strikeouts over five scoreless innings in a rehab outing this past Sunday with Double-A Biloxi. He had posted a solid 3.67 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in 41.2 innings (eight starts) with the Brewers before landing on the injured list in mid-May due to a posterior serratus strain around the left side of his rib cage.

Steele (forearm) is throwing a bullpen session Tuesday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Steele appears to be tracking toward a return from the 15-day injured list when first eligible this Saturday against the Orioles, assuming the Cubs aren't going to ask him to make a minor-league rehab start. The 27-year-old has progressed without issue so far in his recovery from a mild left forearm strain.

Thompson signed a minor-league contract Tuesday with the Phillies, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Thompson was cut loose from the Red Sox organization in May after struggling to a 5.40 ERA, 2.00 WHIP and 6:5 K:BB through 10 innings of relief this season at Triple-A Worcester. The 28-year-old right-hander will join up with the Phillies' Double-A affiliate in Reading.

Quintana (ribs) was cleared to begin a rehab assignment Tuesday with Low-A St. Lucie, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Quintana will probably need around four build-up outings on the farm given that he's been sidelined all season after undergoing bone-graft surgery on his rib cage in March. He's progressed without issue so far, though, and should be an intriguing second-half starter in fantasy. The veteran left-hander posted a 2.93 ERA with 137 strikeouts in 165.2 regular-season innings between the Pirates and Cardinals in 2022 before inking a two-year, $26 million contract with the Mets in December.

Perez could be optioned to the minors when Trevor Rogers (biceps) returns from the injured list within the next week or so, Barry Jackson and Craig Mish of the Miami Herald report.

Whether it's when Rogers is activated or soon after, Perez being sent back to the minors at some point seems to be inevitable. He doesn't deserve to be demoted, of course, having put up a 2.17 ERA and 30:13 K:BB over 29 innings covering six starts. However, the 20-year-old has never thrown more than 78 innings in a pro season and has already reached 60 frames between the majors and minors in 2023, so some level of workload management here is necessary. Jackson and Mish write that the Marlins are comfortable in letting Perez throw 100-to-120 innings this season and sending him to the minors would more easily allow the team to limit his starts to one per 7-to-10 days. The goal would be to curtail Perez's workload now so he could potentially be available down the stretch should Miami remain in playoff contention.

Luzardo dropped to 5-5 in Monday's 8-1 loss to Seattle, allowing six runs on six hits and one walk over four innings. He struck out three.

Luzardo's consistency struggles continue to plague him. Over his last seven starts, the left-hander has allowed one run four times and five or more runs three times. During that stretch, he's posted an elite 46:7 K:BB over 38.1 innings, but he's also surrendered five home runs. Overall, Luzardo sports a less-than-ideal 4.17 ERA, but his 1.27 WHIP and 89:21 K:BB across 77.2 innings suggest he may have been the victim of some bad luck recently. Either way, Luzardo will look to get back on track during his next start, which is tentatively scheduled for the finale of a three-game weekend set in Washington.

Cabrera (hand) is listed as the Marlins' scheduled starter for Tuesday's game in Seattle.

Cabrera looks to be good to go after his most recent start June 7 against the Royals was cut short after five innings due to a blister on his pitching hand. The young right-hander has struggled to rein in walks (14.0 BB%) this season, but thanks to a 29.4 percent strikeout rate and 53.3 percent groundball rate, he's been able to maintain a serviceable 4.29 ERA through 13 starts.

Henry didn't factor into the decision in Monday's 9-8 win over the Phillies, allowing five runs on nine hits and one walk over 4.2 innings. He struck out six.

Henry has now allowed five runs in each of his last two starts without completing five innings in either one of them. The southpaw showed flashes of greatness in his seven-inning scoreless performance May 31 against the Rockies, but he hasn't been able to consistently put it all together this year. The second-year pitcher currently sports an unimpressive 4.86 ERA and 1.38 ERA.

Seabold allowed one run on six hits and a walk over six innings in Monday's win over Boston. He struck out six and did not factor in the decision.

Seabold fired five shutout frames before the Red Sox finally broke through in the sixth inning. He completed six innings for the first time in his MLB career in his last start and has now done it twice in a row. Over his last three outings, Seabold has compiled a 15:5 K:BB while allowing just four earned runs over 17.1 innings. He's dropped his season ERA from 5.94 to 4.70 during that span. Seabold is projected to start in Atlanta this weekend.

Morton allowed four hits and three walks over 5.2 shutout innings in Monday's loss to Detroit. He struck out eight and did not factor in the decision.

Morton was in line for his sixth win of the year before Detroit's late comeback win. Between Monday's appearance and his last scoreless outing May 15, the veteran righty had allowed 15 runs in four starts. He pushed his ERA back down to 3.60 to go with an 85:33 KBB through 75 frames. Morton is projected to face the Rockies at home this weekend.
