Greene (4-12) earned the win over Miami on Monday, allowing one hit and no walks while striking out eight batters over six scoreless innings.

Greene has shown flashes of brilliance at times this season, and his talent was on full display in his dominance of the Marlins on Monday. The rookie allowed only one hit -- a third-inning single -- though he also plunked two batters. Despite his 5.26 ERA on the campaign, Greene has shown that he can have this type of performance on other occasions; in fact, this was his third start of at least six innings and one hit or fewer this season. Greene's win total and ratios haven't been great in his first major-league campaign, but he ranks 10th in the league with 127 strikeouts over 102.2 innings.

Clevinger (3-3) allowed a run on five hits and a hit batsman while striking out six in seven innings to earn the win Monday over the Rockies.

Clevinger limited the damage to a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning. This was his third straight quality start as the right-hander looks to finally be back in dominant form after dealing with knee and triceps injuries earlier in the season. He's logged a 3.13 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 59:16 K:BB across 60.1 innings in 12 appearances (11 starts) this year. Clevinger is tentatively set to start on the road versus the Dodgers this weekend.

Senzatela (3-6) allowed three runs on five hits, three walks and a hit batsman while striking out five over six innings, taking the loss Monday versus the Padres.

Senzatela left his last start after getting hit by a comebacker in his left foot, but he was able to shake off the minor injury without missing time. He had a rough first inning Monday, allowing a solo home run to Jurickson Profar and two more runs before settling to keep the Padres from adding to their lead over the next five frames. The right-hander has now gone five starts without a win, allowing at least three runs in each of those games. He has a 4.87 ERA, 1.71 WHIP and 48:20 K:BB in 77.2 innings across 16 starts. Senzatela is projected for a road start in Arizona this weekend.

Atlanta acquired Odorizzi on Monday in exchange for reliever Will Smith, Mark Berman of Fox 26 Houston reports.

Odorizzi was at risk of losing his spot in Houston's six-man rotation with Lance McCullers (forearm) on track to return from the injured list in the next couple of weeks, so the Astros elected to exchange him for an experienced bullpen arm in Smith. With Atlanta, Odorizzi may not have an immediate path to a starting role if the club elects to keep its five-man rotation intact, but Ian Anderson owned a 5.31 ERA on the season before he tossed six shutout innings in his most recent outing. Odorizzi, who has submitted a 3.75 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 46:17 K:BB across 60 innings with Houston this season, will presumably be first in line to enter the rotation if Atlanta does expand to six men or opts to move Anderson to the bullpen or Triple-A Gwinnett.

The Cardinals acquired Quintana and right-hander Chris Stratton from the Pirates on Tuesday in exchange for right-hander Johan Oviedo and corner infielder Malcom Nunez, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

After a rough 2021 campaign, Quintana had enjoyed a bounce-back campaign in Pittsburgh, as he produced a 3.50 ERA and 1.27 WHIP while recording 89 strikeouts across 103 innings. The Cardinals will likely count on Quintana to hold down a spot at the back end of their rotation while Jack Flaherty (shoulder) and Steven Matz (knee) are on the shelf with long-term injuries.

Feltner will be called up from Triple-A Albuquerque to start the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader with the Padres in San Diego, Patrick Lyons of TheDNVR.com reports.

Feltner has started seven games for the Rockies this season and owns a 5.59 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 35:10 K:BB in 37 big-league innings. Unless Colorado deals away another starting pitcher prior to Tuesday's trade deadline, Feltner will likely be headed back to Albuquerque immediately after his outing against San Diego.

May (elbow) could make two more rehab starts before returning from the injured list, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

May threw 46 pitches in his last rehab start, so he still has some stamina to build up before being ready for his first big-league appearance of the season. If all goes well in the next couple weeks, May could be activated by the Dodgers at some point in the middle of August.

Davies (shoulder) was activated from the injured list Monday.

It was reported Sunday that Davies would rejoin Arizona's rotation for the opener of its three-game set with the Guardians, and the team made the move official one day later. Davies will attempt to pick up where he left off after posting a 2.56 ERA and 0.95 WHIP over his previous five big-league starts.

Rogers (back) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Tuesday or Wednesday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Rogers was placed on the 15-day injured list last Friday with lower-back spasms, but the fact that he's already closing in on getting back on the mound suggests he could be in line for close to a minimum-length stay on the shelf. The 24-year-old southpaw has disappointed over his first 19 starts of 2022, producing a 5.85 ERA and 1.60 WHIP across 87.2 innings.

The Marlins will activate Luzardo (forearm) from the 60-day injured list to have him start Monday's game against the Reds, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Luzardo missed just shy of three months with his forearm injury, but he completed a rehab assignment and is ready to rejoin Miami's rotation. He threw 75 pitches in his final rehab start, so his pitch count will likely be limited to some degree in his first outing back with the big club.
