Davies allowed six hits and struck out seven over seven shutout innings in a no-decision versus the Reds on Tuesday. He didn't walk a batter.

This was Davies' third straight quality start, but he was outplayed by Reds starter Tyler Mahle (12 strikeouts in nine shutout innings). Despite allowing just three runs in his last 20.2 innings, Davies has taken no-decisions in all three starts in that span. The right-hander owns a 3.78 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 57:22 K:BB across 69 innings in 13 starts overall. He's in line for a road start versus the Padres next week.

Mahle allowed just three hits and no walks with 12 strikeouts in nine shutout innings, but he took a no-decision Tuesday versus the Diamondbacks.

Mahle pitched one of the best games of his career, but the Reds' offense couldn't scrape together a run until the 10th inning. He's recorded double-digit strikeouts in his last two starts, and he's turned in quality starts in six of his last seven outings. The right-hander's excellent game Tuesday dropped his ERA from 5.07 to 4.46 with a 1.23 WHIP and 86:30 K:BB through 74.2 innings overall. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect a repeat performance in his next start, which is projected to be a home start versus the Dodgers next week, but Mahle has been in excellent form over the last month-plus.

Gonsolin (8-0) allowed a hit and two walks over 6.1 scoreless innings to earn the win over the Angels on Tuesday. He struck out six.

Gonsolin pitched into the seventh inning, which has been a rarity for him throughout his career. The Angels couldn't get anything going against the right-hander, who has now allowed only three runs in 33 innings at home in 2022. He lowered his ERA to 1.42 with a 0.82 WHIP and 60:20 K:BB across 63.1 innings in 12 starts overall. Gonsolin projects for a favorable road start against the Reds next week.

Webb (6-2) earned the win Tuesday over the Royals. He allowed five hits and three walks with nine strikeouts in seven shutout innings.

Webb has seen a number of starts lately ruined by one rough inning, but it didn't happen Tuesday. He kept runs off the board for the first time all season, though his three walks matched a season high. With the gem, the 25-year-old lowered his ERA to 3.43 with a 1.18 WHIP and 68:20 K:BB across 78.2 innings across 13 starts. He'll look to build upon this strong showing in his next start, tentatively scheduled for early next week in Atlanta.

Houser (3-7) took the loss to the Mets on Tuesday, allowing four runs on eight hits and one walk over 4.2 innings. He struck out three.

Houser made a mess of things right away, allowing hits to four of the first five batters he faced while also uncorking a wild pitch in a three-run first inning for New York. He wasn't all that bad from there, but regardless Houser has now dropped five straight decisions. The right-hander sure isn't pitching like a rotation mainstay, but it doesn't seem like his starting job is in serious jeopardy yet, especially with Freddy Peralta (lat) now on the 60-day injured list for Milwaukee.

Bassitt (5-4) earned the win over the Brewers on Tuesday, allowing three hits and one walk over eight scoreless innings. He struck out seven.

After a six-run hiccup in San Diego last week, Bassitt returned home to have his best start of the season so far, limiting Milwaukee to just a trio of singles. He has been much better at Citi Field -- his road ERA checks in north of 5.00 in his first season with the Mets. However, with a career-high strikeout rate, Bassitt may be able post better results away from home moving forward and further chip away at his ERA and WHIP.

Eflin did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's loss against Miami, striking out four in six innings while allowing four runs on five hits.

Eflin got hit hard in the first inning, allowing two-out, two-run homers to Jesus Aguilar and Avisail Garcia. After that, he allowed just one single and ended the outing by retiring the last 13 batters he faced. The 28-year-old has allowed six homers in his last five starts spanning 31 innings, after allowing just one in his first six starts.

Rogers allowed four runs on five hits and six walks while striking out two in 3.2 innings. He did not factor into the decision in an 11-9 win Tuesday in Philadelphia.

Rogers issued walks in each frame and threw just 52 of 94 pitches for strikes. He was able to mostly navigate around trouble in the first three innings but Rhys Hoskins smacked a three-run homer in the fourth following Kyle Schwarber's third walk of the game. Rogers' struggles with control have grown of late as he's walked 12 batters in 12.1 innings over his last three contests. His next start will likely be early next week against the Mets.

Fried (7-2) earned the victory Tuesday in Washington, striking out six in 5.2 innings while allowing four runs on six hits and a walk.

Fried got off to a great starting, fanning the first five batters he faced. In the third, he loaded the bases with no outs, leading to a three-run inning. The lefty fell short of completing six innings for just the third time this season. His next start will likely be early next week against San Francisco.

Buehler (elbow) had a bone spur removed from his right elbow Monday, which won't affect his recovery timeline from the flexor strain, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

The 27-year-old was already shut down from throwing for 6-to-8 weeks after being diagnosed with the flexor strain over the weekend, so it was an opportune time to remove the bone spur he's been dealing with across the past couple years. Buehler is still hoping to pitch again this season, but it's not guaranteed given that he won't begin even playing catch until at least late July.
