Tylor Megill SP | NYM
Mets' Tylor Megill: Officially activated Friday
Megill (biceps) was reinstated from the 15-day injured list ahead of Friday's start against the Angels, Laura Albanese of Newsday reports.
Megill was unavailable for nearly a month due to right biceps inflammation, but he'll return to the mound as the starter in Friday's series opener against the Angels. Prior to his absence, the right-hander posted a 4.41 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in 34.2 innings over his first seven starts of the season.

Wade Miley SP | CIN
Cubs' Wade Miley: Exits with trainer
Miley was removed from Friday's game against the Yankees prior to the bottom of the fourth inning due to left shoulder soreness, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Miley was effective early in Friday's matchup, allowing three hits and a walk while striking out two in three scoreless innings. He threw 30 of his 42 pitches for strikes but was removed from the game after he was visited by a trainer while warming up in the middle of the fourth inning. The southpaw was activated from the injured list prior to Friday's start after missing nearly three weeks with a left shoulder strain, so it's concerning to see the issue pop up during his return to the mound. It's not yet clear whether Miley will require another trip to the injured list.

Julio Urias SP | LAD
Dodgers' Julio Urias: Start pushed back
Urias will start Sunday's game against the Giants, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Urias was initially listed as the starter for Saturday's matchup, but the team wanted to give him an extra day of rest. As a result, he'll take the mound in the series finale against San Francisco while Clayton Kershaw (pelvis) draws the start Saturday.
-
Clayton Kershaw SP | LAD
Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw: Named Saturday's starter
Kershaw (pelvis) is starting Saturday's game against the Giants, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
The left-hander was initially expected to start Sunday against San Francisco but will be pushed up by a day since the team wanted to give Julio Urias an extra day of rest. Kershaw will be pitching on normal rest since he made a rehab start Sunday at Single-A Rancho Cucamonga, but it's possible that he's on a pitch count Saturday after he spent nearly a month on the injured list.

Kyle Hendricks SP | LAA
Cubs' Kyle Hendricks: Throws bullpen Friday
Manager David Ross said that Hendricks has been "dealing with some stuff" but threw a bullpen session Friday, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Hendricks hasn't started since June 1, and the team hasn't provided an official reason why he was deemed in need of extra rest. However, Ross didn't sound too concerned about Hendricks and said that the right-hander will "pitch in the near future." While the 32-year-old isn't starting Friday or Saturday against the Yankees, he'll likely be in the mix to start during Sunday's series finale or sometime next week against the Padres.

Marcus Stroman SP | NYY
Cubs' Marcus Stroman: Out with shoulder inflammation
Stroman was placed on the 15-day injured list Friday with right shoulder inflammation, Gordon Wittenmyer of NBC Sports Chicago reports. The move is retroactive to June 7.
Stroman wasn't listed among Chicago's probable starters for this weekend despite having Wednesday's start rained out, and the shoulder injury explains his absence. The right-hander apparently had the issue crop up while throwing in the bullpen during the rain delay, and he'll now be unavailable for the next two weeks. Wade Miley (shoulder) was activated from the injured list in a corresponding move and will slide into Stroman's spot in the rotation.

Wade Miley SP | CIN
Cubs' Wade Miley: Reinstated for Friday's start
Miley (shoulder) was activated from the 15-day injured list ahead of his start against the Yankees on Friday, Gordon Wittenmyer of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
Miley was sidelined for nearly three weeks with a strained left shoulder, but he'll rejoin the rotation Friday without requiring a minor-league rehab assignment. Miley may face some workload restrictions since he hasn't seen game action since May 22.

Brandon Woodruff SP | MIL
Brewers' Brandon Woodruff: Dealing with hand numbness
Woodruff (ankle) is experiencing symptoms of Raynaud's syndrome, including numbness in the middle three fingers of his right hand, and doesn't have a timeline for his return from the 15-day injured list, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.
The 29-year-old is fully recovered from the ankle sprain that sent him to the injured list in late May, but he's now contending with a more serious issue to his throwing hand. The major problems occur when Woodruff attempts to throw his slider and curveball, so he's scheduled to throw fastballs and changeups off the mound Saturday, per Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The right-hander has shown some improvement since recently starting a treatment program, but it's unclear when he may be able to rejoin Milwaukee's starting rotation.
-
Sixto Sanchez SP | MIA
Marlins' Sixto Sanchez: Unlikely to pitch this year
Sanchez (shoulder) is not expected to pitch this year, Kyle Glaser of Baseball America reports.
Glaser notes that it's not entirely off the table for Sanchez to get into game action at some point, but for fantasy purposes, it's probably best to assume he won't provide value in 2022. Sanchez most recently advanced to "dry mound" work, throwing around 75 mph.
-
Hyun-il Choi SP | LAD
Dodgers' Hyun-il Choi: Still out with forearm injury
Choi has been sidelined with forearm inflammation, Kyle Glaser of Baseball America reports.
Per Glaser, Choi was set to begin a throwing program in late May, but he has yet to return to game action as of June 10. He only pitched in one game at High-A before getting injured but had an impressive 3.55 ERA and 0.97 WHIP in 106.1 innings in 2021.
