Mejia didn't factor into the decision in Monday's 6-5 loss to the Pirates, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out seven.

Making his 2021 debut, Mejia tossed 65 of 99 pitches for strikes in a strong effort and exited the game in line for the win before the Arizona bullpen made a mess of things in the seventh inning. The 24-year-old likely earned a longer audition in the rotation with this performance.

Hendricks allowed four runs on nine hits over seven innings in Monday's win over the Rockies. He struck out six and did not factor in the decision.

Colorado jumped on Hendricks early, putting up three runs in the first inning, including a two-run base hit by Sam Hilliard. He settled in and allowed just one Rockie to reach scoring position over the next five innings until he coughed up another run in the seventh. It was his first start since July 21 where he didn't issue a walk, improving his season K:BB to 113:33. Hendricks will carry a 4.09 ERA into his projected road start against the White Sox this weekend.

Senzatela allowed a run on five hits and two walks over six innings in Monday's loss to the Cubs. He struck out six and did not factor in the decision.

Senzatela rolled through five scoreless innings before loading the bases with no outs in the sixth. He managed to escape the jam after allowing just one run and was in line for a win before Colorado's bullpen coughed up five runs over the next 2.1 innings. It was his third straight quality start but he's still looking for his first win since June 2. In 10 starts since then, Senzatela owns a 4.37 ERA and a 48:10 K:BB. He's lined up to face the Dodgers in Los Angeles this weekend.

Ynoa (4-3) allowed three runs on four hits and a walk over six innings Monday, striking out nine and taking a loss against the Yankees.

Ynoa didn't have much trouble with anyone in the Yankees' lineup aside from Giancarlo Stanton. He allowed a solo homer to Stanton in the second inning followed by a two-run double in the sixth. In two starts since his three-month stint on the injured list, the 6-foot-2 righty has allowed three runs through 11.1 frames (2.38 ERA) with a strong 13:2 K:BB. Ynoa is sporting a 2.89 ERA through 56 innings on the year. He's projected to face the Dodgers on the road next week.

Mejia was recalled from Triple-A Reno on Monday, Zach Buchanan of The Athletic reports.

Mejia will make his season debut as the starter in Monday's series opener against the Pirates. The right-hander got his first taste of big-league action last year when he posted a 5.40 ERA and 1.90 WHIP in 10 innings across three starts with the Marlins.

Rogers (personal) rejoined the Marlins for workouts just over a week ago and intends to rejoin the Miami rotation before the end of the season, though he remains without an official timeline to return from the restricted list, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports. "When he comes back, we'll get him in safely but there's not going to be any reins," pitching coach Mel Stottlemyre Jr. said of Rogers. "He's set for when he does come back to where there's no limitations other than bringing him back safely."

After Rogers made his 20th start of the season July 31, the Marlins placed him on the family medical emergency list three days later before transferring him to the restricted list last week. Rogers provided a detailed explanation for his extended absence in his interview with McPherson, noting that he chose to step away from the Marlins temporarily after both of his grandfathers passed away within one week of each other, on top of both of his parents having recently experienced serious symptoms of COVID-19. With both his mother and father now feeling healthier, Rogers is ready to turn his focus back to baseball, but he'll need time to build back up again after he was away from the team for more than two weeks. McPherson suggests that Rogers will likely throw a couple bullpen sessions this week before potentially heading out on a minor-league assignment that will consist of one or two rehab starts. Because the Marlins headed into the season with the goal of capping Rogers at 175 innings in 2021, the 23-year-old lefty shouldn't face any restrictions in his starts when he eventually returns, likely in early September. He currently sits at 110 innings for the campaign.

Lopez (shoulder) made his first rehab start at Triple-A Jacksonville on Saturday, striking out three over three no-hit innings.

Lopez faced the minimum nine hitters in the start, erasing a hit batsman in the bottom of the first by inducing an inning-ending double play. Since he hadn't pitched for the Marlins since July 11 before landing on the injured list with a right shoulder strain, Lopez was pulled after 38 pitches Saturday. He'll likely push his pitch count up to the 50-to-60 range in his next rehab outing before potentially slotting back into the Miami rotation at some point next week.

The Marlins announced that Cabrera will be called up from Triple-A Jacksonville to start Wednesday's game against the Nationals in Miami.

The 23-year-old right-hander will be making his MLB debut this week after he compiled a 3.68 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 48:19 K:BB across 29.1 innings over his six starts at Triple-A upon receiving a promotion from Double-A Pensacola in mid-July. Cabrera's eye-popping strikeout rate will make him an intriguing flier in mixed leagues and NL-only formats, though he may need to demonstrate better command than he displayed at Triple-A in order to keep his ratios at acceptable levels.

Wainwright (12-7) tossed eight scoreless innings Sunday against the Pirates, allowing two hits and striking out nine.

The soon-to-be 38-year-old veteran delivered one of his most dominant performances of the season, as he nearly tossed a complete game and also recorded his third-best strikeout total of the campaign. Wainwright, who reduced his ERA to an impressive 3.10 through 162.2 innings, has also tossed seven straight quality starts and has posted a blistering 1.76 ERA during that span as well.

Gray fell to 7-10 after allowing five runs on six hits and three walks while striking out eight over 5.1 innings in Sunday's 8-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Since he surprisingly stayed put in Colorado after the July 30 trade deadline, Gray has seen his fantasy value trend downward. He's now lost four consecutive decisions, submitting a 6.75 ERA and 1.70 WHIP over that stretch. On a positive note, Gray has allowed only one home run across 20 innings while striking out 28, so his ratios should be in line for some correction in the likely event his .473 BABIP veers closer to his career mark (.316).
