Ynoa (hand) will throw off a mound in the next few days, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Ynoa was off to a brilliant start this season, posting a 3.02 ERA in 44.2 innings of work before punching a bench and fracturing his hand in mid-May. He was originally expected to miss at least two months, a period which has nearly elapsed. He won't be back in game action any time soon and doesn't have a clear updated timeline, but he's at least taking steps in the right direction.

The Giants optioned Webb to Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Webb is expected to get some work in with the minor-league club during the All-Star break, as he's still building up his innings load after a shoulder injury. Joey Bart was recalled in a corresponding move.

Soroka underwent surgery on his Achilles tendon this week that Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said was successful, McClain Baxley of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

The right-hander first tore the tendon last August, but his initial rehab process went far from smoothly as he dealt with a sore shoulder before needing a cleanup procedure on the tendon in mid-May and then tearing it again June 24. Having undergone three surgeries on his Achilles in less than a year, it's impossible to predict what the timeline for Soroka's recovery will be, both because of the risk of further issues and the fact that the team will be extra cautious with him.

Freeland exited Friday's game after five innings due to a blister on his left middle finger, Daniel Guerrero of MLB.com reports.

The lefty certainly had more in the tank after throwing just 64 pitches but could not continue pitching with the blister. It's unclear how severe the blister is, but the looming All-Star break gives Freeland some additional recovery time before his next scheduled start.

Carrasco (hamstring) could rejoin the Mets before he gets fully stretched out on a rehab assignment, Anthony Reiber of Newsday reports.

Speaking to reporters Friday, manager Luis Rojas said, "I don't know if we're going to do the one-inning, two-inning [outing] out of the chute when he goes to the rehab assignment, and then we'll see after that what he's going to do. But we were thinking of him, potentially, joining us not being at a full stretch, like not being at the six innings, or five, so he could join us even before that. So let's see how this week goes and then we'll share more what the plan is." Carrasco is expected to begin a rehab stint next week assuming all goes well during his bullpen session Saturday, but with the team trying to patch together its pitching staff after the All-Star break, the veteran hurler could be activated quickly and used as an opener or bulk reliever after only a couple minor-league appearances.

Gallen (hamstring) will throw a bullpen session Saturday.

After being placed on the injured list last Saturday, Gallen was back on the mound in relatively short order. Prior to his scheduled outing Saturday, the right-hander threw a 30-pitch session Wednesday. It's conceivable Gallen throws a rehab start over the All-Star break with a possible return soon after the break.

Morton (8-3) picked up the win in Friday's 5-0 victory over the Marlins, scattering two hits and two walks over seven scoreless innings. He struck out seven.

In arguably his best start of the season, Morton fired 59 of 95 pitches for strikes while not allowing a runner to get past second base. The veteran right-hander has eight quality starts on the year, including four in his last five outings, and he'll carry a 3.64 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 114:33 K:BB through 99 innings into the All-Star break.

Webb pitched three scoreless innings against Washington on Friday, allowing one hit and no walks while striking out four. He did not factor in the decision.

The right-hander made his first big-league appearance since May 29, so he didn't go very deep into the game despite pitching effectively. Still, it was a triumphant return for Webb, who had posted a 1.06 ERA, 0.76 WHIP and 21:3 K:BB over his past three starts before going down with a shoulder injury in early June. Assuming he came out of Friday's contest fine, Webb should continue to stretch out as a member of the rotation following the All-Star break. His next start could come on the road against the Dodgers.

Freeland (1-3) lost Friday's 4-2 game against San Diego, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks with three strikeouts in five innings.

Freeland had allowed just a single run through five innings but was removed after permitting the first two batters in the sixth to reach base, at which point reliever Tyler Kinley allowed both to score to saddle Freeland with the loss. The lefty only threw 64 pitches in the short appearance and surrendered three runs or less for the fourth straight start.

Brubaker (4-9) took the loss Friday versus the Mets. He allowed six runs on six hits and a walk with seven strikeouts in five-plus innings.

Brubaker had pitched well through five innings, but he got into trouble in the sixth. An RBI single from Dominic Smith and a three-run home run by Pete Alonso were enough to hand the right-hander his fourth loss in his last four starts. During the skid, Brubaker's allowed 16 runs in 23.2 innings, including eight homers. He's posted a 4.47 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 88:19 K:BB across 88.2 inning overall.
