Senzatela didn't factor into the decision in Thursday's 5-2 win against St. Louis, allowing two runs on seven hits with five strikeouts in seven innings.

The 26-year-old went toe-to-toe with Adam Wainwright in this one as both starters allowed two runs apiece in at least seven innings. The damage against Senzatela was limited to a Paul DeJong second-inning single and Paul Goldschmidt solo home run, as the righty went seven innings for the fourth time in 16 turns. It was a strong opening to July as Senzatela now has a 4.06 ERA in six starts since the beginning of June.

Lugo (1-1) gave up one earned run on two hits and two walks while striking out one across two-thirds of an inning, taking the loss to Atlanta on Thursday.

Lugo retired just two batters and allowed Freddie Freeman to walk it off in the ninth inning on a single. He has allowed just four runs all season for a 2.77 ERA and a 1.31 WHIP in 13 innings. It's the third time this season he's been scored upon in 13 outings.

Cueto (6-4) took the loss in Thursday's 5-3 defeat at the hands of the Diamondbacks, allowing five runs on six hits and two walks with five strikeouts in five innings.

Cueto had 1-2-3 innings in the first and third but ran into trouble in his other three frames, permitting two runs in the second and fourth and one in the fifth. He was bit especially by the extra-base hit as five of the six hits he allowed went for multiple bases. Cueto has factored into the decision in six straight starts, going 3-3 in the stretch with a 4.15 ERA and a 22:8 K:BB.

Kelly (5-7) won Thursday's 5-3 game against San Francisco, allowing three runs on seven hits with seven strikeouts in seven innings.

Kelly started July on a high note with seven strong innings against the Giants, with the only damage coming on Mike Yastrzemski and Wilmer Flores home runs. He's assembled a nice three-game run -- all wins -- pitching a total of 20 innings and surrendering only four runs and 18 baserunners with 17 strikeouts.

DeGrom allowed three earned runs on five hits while striking out 14 across seven innings in the loss to Atlanta on Thursday. He did not factor into the decision.

DeGrom allowed his first home run in his last seven starts in the first inning to Austin Riley. All three of his runs allowed were in the first inning. DeGrom has struck out at least 14 in four games this season. Despite allowing three earned runs for the first time this season, the future Hall of Famer is leading all of baseball with a 0.95 ERA and a 14.40 K/9. His next start is scheduled for Tuesday against the Brewers.

Burnes is dealing with soreness in his knee but is optimistic he will be able to take his next turn through the rotation, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinelreports.

Burnes exited his start Thursday with a trainer, but he downplayed the injury after the contest. He has apparently been dealing with some soreness in his knee, which was aggravated when his cleat got stuck on the mound when delivering a pitch. Nevertheless, both Burnes and manager Craig Counsell seem to think he won't be forced to miss much time, if any.

Burnes exited Thursday's start with a trainer and appeared to be in discomfort, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Burnes recorded the first out of the eighth inning when he was visited on the mound by a team trainer. It's possible that he was lifted as a precaution, as he had already thrown 94 pitches and was deep into the game. Burnes dominated the Pirates prior to his exit, allowing only one earned run on four hits and one walk while striking out four.

Webb (shoulder) will start his rehab assignment by throwing two innings with Triple-A Sacramento, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Webb threw a simulated game Sunday, clearing the way for this rehab outing. Interestingly, it was also noted that Webb will work out of the bullpen in an additional appearance with Sacramento, as the Giants want to see him work as both a starter and reliever. Through 10 appearances this season, Webb has started on nine occasions.

Cueto is feeling under the weather prior to his start Thursday against the Diamondbacks, but he is still expected to take the mound, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

There's no more detail available related to Cueto's potential illness, though there's also no indication at this point that his start is in jeopardy. Assuming that remains the case, he'll look to build on his last outing, when he threw seven scoreless innings.

Carrasco (hamstring) has been throwing full bullpens recently, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.

Carrasco was throwing off the slope of the mound in late June, but he's been able to increase his intensity recently as he continues to recover from a right hamstring strain. Although the right-hander's throwing program was paused in mid-June, he's made progress across the past few weeks and could face hitters at some point in the near future if he continues to trend in the right direction.
