Carrasco (hamstring) has resumed throwing bullpen sessions, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Carrasco still doesn't have a clear timetable for his return, and the Mets' focus right now is on the right-hander strengthening his hamstring. "We want to get him to the point where there's no setback, nothing that can get in his way," manager Luis Rojas said. "We've checked out his hamstring and there's still some strengthening to do so there's nothing that stops him or holds him or creates another injury down the road." Until that process is completed to the team's satisfaction, Carrasco won't begin a new rehab assignment. The right-hander had built up to six innings in simulated games in early May before being shut down again, but he'll need to begin the process of getting stretched out over again once he's finally cleared to face hitters.

Anderson (4-3) took the loss Friday as Atlanta fell 9-5 to the Dodgers, giving up four runs on one hit and three walks over 4.1 innings. He struck out six.

The young right-hander blanked Los Angeles for four innings before things unraveled in the fifth, as Anderson and the Atlanta bullpen issued five of their eight free passes on the night as part of an eight-run frame. It's the second straight outing in which he's failed to complete five innings, and Anderson will carry a 3.64 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 65:25 K:BB through 59.1 IP into his next start.

Urias (8-2) picked up the win Friday in a 9-5 victory over Atlanta, allowing one run on four hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out five.

A Freddie Freeman solo shot in the first inning was the only blemish on Urias' line. The southpaw tossed 83 pitches (53 strikes) before exiting, and he'll take a 3.48 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 80:11 K:BB through 72.1 innings into his next start.

Gray left Friday's game against the Athletics with right elbow soreness and tightness in his forearm, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Gray allowed five runs on four hits and two walks in 2.1 innings prior to his departure, and manager Bud Black said that the right-hander's injury contributed to his lackluster performance. The severity of the issue isn't yet known, but Gray's status will become clearer after further testing.

Castillo (2-8) allowed one run on three hits and a walk over six innings Friday, striking out five and earning a win over St. Louis.

The only run to score on Castillo came on a solo shot by Edmundo Sosa in the fifth inning as Castillo produced his best outing in over a month. He had lost his previous seven starts entering Friday's contest, registering a 7.91 ERA through 33 frames during that span. The 28-year-old righty picked up his first win since April 7 and lowered his season ERA to 6.63. Castillo is projected to face the Brewers at home next week.

Kim (back) will receive further treatment before the Cardinals determine his status for his next start, Zachary Silver of MLB.com reports.

Kim was removed from Friday's game against the Reds with lower back tightness, and the issue is believed to be similar to the one that forced him to spend time on the injured list earlier in the year. However, manager Mike Shildt is optimistic that the southpaw's current injury isn't as severe as the one he dealt with to begin the season.

Oviedo will start Saturday's game against the Reds, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Oviedo was called up Tuesday, and he'll get the chance to work out of the rotation with Jack Flaherty (oblique) on the injured list. In five appearances (four starts) for the Cardinals this year, the righty has posted a 5.40 ERA and 1.60 WHIP in 20 innings.

Wheeler (4-3) allowed two runs on five hits and two walks with eight strikeouts in 7.1 innings, taking the loss versus Washington on Friday.

Wheeler turned in a quality start, but Washington ace Max Scherzer was just a bit better in the pitchers' duel. The 31-year-old Wheeler has posted an excellent 2.51 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 100:18 K:BB across 82.1 innings this season. He projects to face Atlanta next week.

Peralta (6-1) allowed one run on one hit and three walks over 7.1 innings Friday, striking out nine and earning the win over Arizona.

Peralta completely dominated the Diamondbacks on Friday, carrying a no-hitter into the eighth inning before yielding a single to Nick Ahmed. He was charged with a run after Josh Reddick came in to score with Brad Boxberger on the mound. Over his last five starts, Peralta has racked up 39 strikeouts while allowing just four runs over 32 innings. He'll carry a 2.25 ERA into next week's projected start in Cincinnati.

Keller was removed from Friday's game against the Marlins with a heat illness, Jake Crouse of MLB.com reports.

Keller only pitched two innings in Friday's start, and he allowed two runs on two hits and three walks while striking out two. He's being evaluated to determine the extent of the issue, but it's not yet clear whether the illness will impact his availability going forward.
