Gausman was dominant to begin Sunday's matchup, as he allowed two hits and no walks while striking out seven in six scoreless innings. However, he fielded a grounder at the end of the sixth inning and appeared to stretch awkwardly during the play. The Giants called his removal precautionary, but it's not yet clear whether the injury will impact his availability for his next start. Gausman tentatively lines up to make his next start at home against the Cubs on Saturday.

Musgrove pitched five scoreless innings, allowing just a hit-by-pitch while striking out three in Sunday's loss to Houston. He did not factor in the decision.

Snell then struggled through the third before Joe Musgrove handled the rest of the pitching duties for the game. Snell has seen his ERA balloon from 3.79 to 5.55 during his poor run. He's added a 1.60 WHIP and 70:31 K:BB across 47 innings overall. The 28-year-old lines up for a home start versus the Mets next weekend.

Gore was scratched from his scheduled start for Triple-A El Paso on Sunday due to a blister issue, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Gore has made four minor-league starts to begin the year and has posted a 5.94 ERA and 1.85 WHIP in 16.2 innings. The southpaw is expected to miss one turn through the rotation due to his blister, but the issue isn't expected to require a stint on the injured list.

Fried won't start as scheduled Sunday against the Mets since the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Mets owner Steven Cohen reports.

It's the second postponement of the series as Friday's contest was also called off. The 27-year-old initially lined up to start Saturday, but was pushed to Sunday while Friday's scheduled starter Ian Anderson pitched Saturday. According to David O'Brien of The Athletic, Fried is now expected to take the mound Tuesday versus the Nationals, with Charlie Morton remaining on schedule to start Monday.

DeGrom won't pitch as scheduled Monday against Atlanta since the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Mets owner Steven Cohen reports.

It's the second postponement of the series as Friday's contest was also called off due to weather. DeGrom will be pushed back to start Monday's series opener against Arizona, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.

Alcantara won't pitch as scheduled Sunday at Boston since the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

It's unclear when the interleague contest will be rescheduled. The Marlins have yet to announce their updated rotation plans, but Alcantara figures to take the mound Tuesday versus the Blue Jays after Monday's scheduled off day.

Webb (4-3) allowed two runs (one earned) on one hit while striking out seven across five innings to earn the win over the Dodgers on Saturday.

The only hit against Webb was a Justin Turner double that scored Gavin Lux in the first inning. In Webb's last three starts, he is 3-0 with a 1.06 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 17 innings. For the season, the 24-year-old has a 3.86 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 9.9 K/9 in 49 innings. His next start is tentatively scheduled for Friday against the Cubs.

Brubaker was placed on the bereavement list prior to Sunday's game against the Rockies, Jake Crouse of MLB.com reports.

It's unclear how long the the right-hander will be away from the team, but his next scheduled start is for Friday against the Marlins. Chase De Jong was called up to take Brubaker's roster spot.

Wainwright (3-4) won Saturday's game against Arizona, going five innings and allowing four runs on five hits and three walks with six strikeouts in a 7-4 victory.

Wainwright cruised through the game's first four innings but allowed a Stephen Vogt two-run home run in the fifth and another two runs in the sixth before being removed. The veteran is a decent option with the potential to post super outings on occasion in his age-39 season.
