Peterson didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 5-4 extra-inning win over the Diamondbacks, giving up three runs on three hits and three walks over 1.2 innings while striking out three.

After a scoreless first inning, the southpaw's control deserted him in the second as the final four batters he faced all reached base via a walk or a hit by pitch. Peterson has issued multiple free passes in four straight starts and five of six this season, and he'll carry a 5.54 ERA and 32:11 K:BB through 26 innings into his next outing.

Gallen didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 5-4 extra-inning loss to the Mets, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits and four walks over six innings. He struck out five.

While the right-hander's control wavered and he threw only 57 of 96 pitches for strikes, Gallen was able to limit the damage and left the game in line for the win. He's produced two quality starts in his last three trips to the mound, and Gallen will take a 3.04 ERA and 32:14 K:BB through 26.2 innings into his next outing.

DeSclafani pitched 5.1 innings against San Diego on Friday, allowing three runs on four hits and one walk while striking out three. He did not factor in the decision.

The start was subpar by DeSclafani's standards this season -- he entered the contest having tossed four quality starts in six outings -- but the right-hander was still able to keep San Francisco in the game. DeSclafani kept the Padres off the scoreboard until the sixth inning but was charged with three earned runs in that frame after giving up a single, home run and double. The hurler will carry a 2.40 ERA and 36:10 K:BB across 41.1 innings into his next start, tentatively scheduled to take place during next week's series at Pittsburgh.

Snell pitched 4.2 innings against San Francisco on Friday, allowing four runs on one hit and six walks while striking out five. He did not factor in the decision.

The left-hander threw only 47 of 95 pitches for strikes in the contest, leading to six free passes and negating the fact that the Giants managed only one hit against him. That hit -- a third-inning home run off the bat of Buster Posey -- was good for two runs, and Snell was charged with another pair of runs when two batters he walked in the fifth came around to score after his departure. Snell's first season with San Diego hasn't been as smooth as hoped. Despite registering a respectable 4.15 ERA, the veteran hurler has tallied a career-worst walk rate and has yet to pitch six full innings in a contest. He'll carry a 42:21 K:BB into his next start, tentatively slated for Wednesday at Colorado.

Urias (4-1) allowed five earned runs on eight hits while striking out four across five innings Friday, taking the loss against the Angels.

He took his first loss Friday in his worst outing of the season, giving up four runs in the second inning including home runs by Justin Upton and Taylor Ward. Urias managed to settle down afterward, surrendering just one more run in the fifth inning. The 24-year-old carries a 3.59 ERA and 0.98 WHIP through 42.2 innings. He holds a solid 7.67 K/BB this year after not walking anyone Friday.

Miley (4-2) pitched a no-hitter versus Cleveland on Friday. He walked one and struck out eight over nine shutout innings in the win.

Miley's bid for a perfect game ended in the sixth inning when Cleveland's Amed Rosario reached on an error. Two batters later, Miley walked Cesar Hernandez, but he rebounded well over the final three frames. The 34-year-old southpaw needed 114 pitches (72 strikes) to complete the historic feat. He's been effective this year with a 2.00 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 27:8 K:BB across 36 innings. Miley is projected to face the Pirates in a favorable matchup next week.

Corbin allowed three runs on four hits and no walks while striking out two over six innings in Friday's win over the Yankees. He didn't factor into the decision.

Corbin picked up his first win of the year in his last outing, and while he gave up three solo home runs Friday he still delivered his third quality start of the season. The Nationals' offense combined for eight runs in the final two innings of the game, but Corbin was forced to settle for a no-decision. The southpaw has posted a 7.36 ERA and 1.53 WHIP in 29.1 innings across his first six starts of 2021. He tentatively lines up to make his next start at home against the Phillies on Thursday.

Flaherty (6-0) pitched seven scoreless innings on three hits and one walk while striking out six, earning the win Friday over the Rockies.

Flaherty contributed offensively and defensively to earn his MLB-leading sixth win Friday. The 25-year-old ace was lights-out, striking out six batters while allowing only four baserunners. In addition, he slammed his first career home run in the third inning off Austin Gomber. He carries a 2.83 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 3.82 K/BB in 41.1 innings. He will get another good matchup against an injury-riddled Brewers' offense Thursday.

Davies (2-2) allowed five hits and one walk while striking out one in seven scoreless innings to earn the win against the Pirates on Friday.

Davies put together his first scoreless outing as a Cub on Friday, and he picked up his first win since his season debut April 4. Even though the right-hander only struck out one batter against the Pirates, he's now allowed just two runs (one earned) in 11 innings across his last two starts. Davies tentatively lines up to make his next start on the road Wednesday against Cleveland.

Gomber (2-4) allowed five earned runs on six hits while striking out seven across five innings, taking the loss to the Cardinals on Friday.

Gomber's inconsistencies continued Friday as he surrendered home runs to Harrison Bader and opposing pitcher Jack Flaherty. Despite the loss, Gomber didn't walk anyone for the first time in seven starts this season. The 27-year-old has a 6.35 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 34 innings. He will look to get back on track in his next start against the Padres on Wednesday.
