Kyle Hendricks SP | LAA
Cubs' Kyle Hendricks: Earns sixth win
Hendricks (6-4) allowed three earned runs on six hits and one walk while striking out 10 across seven innings to earn the win Tuesday against the Rockies.
Hendricks was solved only by Daniel Murphy, who accounted for all three of his earned runs in this start. Otherwise, Hendricks dominated Rockies hitters, recording his second double-digit strikeout effort this season. He backed that up with 21 swinging and called strikes, while also starting 18 of the 28 batters he faced with a strike. Hendricks has worked exceptionally deep into games across the past month, working seven or more frames in five of his last seven starts. He'll look to keep that going in his next outing, currently scheduled for Sunday against St. Louis.

Chase Anderson RP | TEX
Brewers' Chase Anderson: Hit hard by Marlins
Anderson (3-1) allowed four earned runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out six across four innings to take the loss Tuesday against the Marlins.
Anderson was defeated by the long ball Tuesday, surrendering three homers in his short start. He's now failed to surpass five innings in any of his six starts this season, though this was his first outing in which he's surrendered multiple home runs. The depleted Brewers rotation should make his starting job safe for the time being. He'll look to work deeper in his next start, currently scheduled for Sunday against Pittsburgh.

Stephen Strasburg SP | WAS
Nationals' Stephen Strasburg: Wins 100th career game
Strasburg (6-3) allowed five runs on five hits with six strikeouts and three walks across five innings while earning a victory against the White Sox on Tuesday.
Six of the eight batters that reached against Strasburg did so in the first two frames. He settled down after that, and in the fifth, Strasburg worked around runners on second and third with no outs to yield no runs. That was a turning point in the game, as the Nationals came back to take the lead in the bottom of the fifth. The 30-year-old is 6-3 with a 3.54 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 104 strikeouts in 84 innings this season. This was Strasburg's 100th career win. He is scheduled to pitch next at the Padres on Sunday.

Pablo Lopez SP | MIN
Marlins' Pablo Lopez: Holds Brewers scoreless
Lopez (4-5) allowed three hits and a walk while striking out seven across six scoreless innings to earn the win Tuesday against the Brewers.
Lopez tamed the dangerous Brewers offense, holding them to just three singles across his six innings of work. He also continues to showcase improved control, as he's walked just one batter in each of his last three starts after surrendering multiple free passes in four of his previous five starts. While he remains inconsistent in his results, Lopez has flashed solid skills, posting a 62:16 K:BB ratio across 63.2 innings for the campaign. He'll look to keep the positive results up in his next start, currently scheduled for Sunday against Atlanta.

Cal Quantrill RP | TEX
Padres' Cal Quantrill: Set for another spot start
Quantrill will be called up from Triple-A El Paso to start Wednesday against the Phillies, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.
Quantrill has been shuttling between El Paso and San Diego for spot starts for much of the season and that will continue as he's set to be recalled again after getting sent down following his last start May 25. He has a 5.14 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 19:7 K:BB in 21 big-league innings this season.

Trevor Williams RP | TEX
Pirates' Trevor Williams: Return not imminent
Pirates general manager Neal Huntington said Sunday that Williams (side) still has no timetable for a return but is throwing and feeling better, 93.7 The Fan reports.
"He continues to progress through a normal life and is beginning his throwing program and side work," Huntington said. "Once that side work comes together, we'll begin to map out where we take him from there. The longer he's down, the longer his build-up process." Look for more concrete information Wednesday, when medical director Todd Tomczyk updates Williams' status.

Walker Buehler SP | SD
Dodgers' Walker Buehler: Strikes out 11 in win
Buehler (6-1) gave up one run on two hits while striking out 11 through eight innings to earn the win over the Diamondbacks on Monday.
Buehler gave up a home run to Christian Walker but was dominant otherwise, inducing 18 swinging strikes to post his highest strikeout total of the season. The right-hander has a 3-1 record with a 2.54 ERA and a ridiculous 45:3 K:BB in his last six starts. Buehler will make his next start Sunday against the Giants at Oracle Park.

Robbie Ray SP | SD
Diamondbacks' Robbie Ray: Loses pitching duel
Ray (4-3) took the loss Monday, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out nine over seven innings.
Ray was good, but Dodgers starter Walker Buehler was better. Despite several hard-hit balls, Arizona managed just three hits while Ray's fourth-inning fastball to Corey Seager caught too much of the zone and was tagged for a three-run home run. Ray, who has lost two straight starts, will carry a 3.62 ERA into his next start Sunday on the road in Toronto.

Eric Lauer SP | LAD
Padres' Eric Lauer: Moves to 5-4
Lauer (5-4) picked up the win against the Phillies on Monday, giving up two hits and one earned run over six innings, striking out three and walking three as the Padres won 8-2.
Lauer turned in a quality start in picking up his fifth win of the season, giving up just one earned for a fourth consecutive outing following an eight-run blowup against the Rockies on May 10. He's lowered his ERA from 5.75 to 4.18 over that strong run to go along with a 52:17 K:BB over 64.2 innings. He'll look to keep it going in his next start, which is scheduled for Saturday on the road against the Nationals.
