Braves' Julio Teheran: Records six strikeouts in no-decision
Teheran allowed three runs on five hits and four walks while fanning six across 5.2 innings Sunday as he didn't factor into the decision against the Mets.
Teheran let the Mets jump out to a three-run lead, though the Braves would rally and win the ballgame in extra innings. He's had issues with his command during his previous two outings, issuing eight walks while surrendering six runs over 10.2 frames. Teheran will aim to limit the free passes in his next start, which is lined up for Friday against Milwaukee.

Aaron Nola SP | PHI
Phillies' Aaron Nola: Tosses quality outing vs. Miami
Nola allowed two runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out two across six innings Sunday as he didn't factor into the decision against the Marlins.
The Phillies moved out to a three-run lead, but Nola surrendered three in the seventh on two homers before exiting the ballgame. Although he didn't notch the victory, his team would emerge victorious in the series finale. Nola hasn't given up more than four runs in an outing since June 17 against Milwaukee, and he's gone 4-1 in eight starts since then. He owns a 2.37 ERA and 0.99 WHIP with a 144:40 K:BB across 148 innings this season.

Castillo gave up a run in the second and third innings before leaving the game with a one-run deficit. He managed to throw 61 of his 88 pitches for strikes (69 percent). Castillo has shown major improvement of late, allowing two or fewer runs in each of his previous four outings. He's improved his ERA from 5.58 to 4.91 over that span.

Trevor Williams RP | TEX
Pirates' Trevor Williams: Allows two runs in loss to Cardinals
Williams (9-8) allowed two runs on nine hits with no walks across five innings while taking the loss against the Cardinals on Sunday. He struck out three.
Williams cruised through the early innings but ran into trouble in the fifth, when he allowed two runs on four hits before getting the final out. He was lifted prior to the sixth and unfortunately took the loss as his team failed to score during his time on the mound. Williams' scoreless innings streak climbed to 20 before he was scored upon, and the loss was his first in almost exactly a month. He still has a 3.88 ERA for the season and will look to bounce back next weekend against the Giants.

Wade Miley SP | CIN
Brewers' Wade Miley: Allows three runs in no-decision
Miley allowed three runs on five hits and three walks across five innings in a no-decision Sunday against the Rockies. He struck out five.
Miley started the game with four scoreless innings but was touched up for a three-run home run in the fifth, putting a bit of a damper on his performance. He was lifted after finishing the frame and was only spared the loss as his side tied it in the ninth inning before losing in extras. This ultimately lackluster outing ended a notable run for Miley, who was yet to allow more than two earned runs in any of his appearances this season. He still holds a sparkling 2.10 ERA to go along with a 1.25 WHIP this season and will look to bounce back next weekend against the Braves.

Jon Gray SP | TEX
Rockies' Jon Gray: Strikes out eight in no-decision
Gray allowed one run on four hits and two walks across eight innings in a no-decision Sunday against the Brewers. He struck out eight.
Gray was outstanding in this one, throwing 67 percent of his pitches for strikes as he scattered baserunners throughout the afternoon. The only real damage against his ledger came on a solo home run in the second inning, and he was only denied a win by a late bullpen collapse before his team won in extra innings. Gray still has a disappointing 4.73 ERA on the season, but this stellar outing brings his mark to 1.52 as he's now delivered four quality starts in as many outings. He'll look to build off one of his finest performances of the season next weekend against the Dodgers.

Jack Flaherty SP | DET
Cardinals' Jack Flaherty: Throws six scoreless, strikes out seven
Flaherty (5-6) tossed six scoreless innings while earning the win Sunday against the Pirates, allowing three hits and one walk with seven strikeouts.
Flaherty tossed 67 percent of his pitches for strikes and recorded eight groundball outs as he silenced the division rival. While he'd pitched well of late, the quality start was his first since June 22, and the win was just his second in the last 10 starts. Flaherty's gem brings his ERA to a sharp 3.27 for the season, to go along with a 1.10 WHIP and a 11.0 K/9. The impressive youngster will look to build on this strong performance next weekend in a favorable matchup with the Royals.

MacKenzie Gore SP | TEX
Padres' MacKenzie Gore: Continuing to dominate at Low-A
Gore has posted a 2.25 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 43:13 K:BB in 32 innings over his last seven starts at Low-A Fort Wayne.
Gore has allowed no more than two earned runs in any of those outings and has covered at least five innings on five occasions. The 19-year-old lefty is one of several impressive arms in a deep Padres system: His minor-league results and arsenal that features four potential plus pitches make his upside as high as any of his organizational mates.

Joey Lucchesi RP | LAA
Padres' Joey Lucchesi: Fans nine in no-decision
Lucchesi tossed 5.2 innings Sunday but didn't factor into the decision, allowing three runs (two earned) on seven hits in the 10-6 win over the Cubs. He struck out nine and gave up one home run.
It was a solid performance from the rookie southpaw, dropping his season ERA to 3.70 in 82.2 innings. Most of the damage against Lucchesi came from Javier Baez, who hit a solo home run and an RBI double off him. The 25-year-old will take a strong 87:28 K:BB into Saturday's home start against the Phillies.

Brett Kennedy RP | CIN
Padres' Brett Kennedy: To make MLB debut Wednesday
Kennedy will start Wednesday's game against the Brewers, Dennis Lin of The Athletic San Diego reports.
Kennedy has put together solid numbers at Triple-A El Paso in 2018, as he owns a 10-0 record with 2.72 ERA and 80 strikeouts across 89.1 innings. He figures to have his work cut out for him in his first major-league start against a tough Milwaukee lineup. It's unclear whether Kennedy will remain in the starting rotation following his scheduled outing, though the Padres are in need of a fifth starter after Jordan Lyles was picked up by the Brewers off waivers Sunday.
