Joey Lucchesi RP | LAA
Padres' Joey Lucchesi: Expects to return this week
Lucchesi (hip) has rejoined the Padres and expects to be activated from the disabled list this week, Bill Center of MLB.com reports.
Lucchesi only threw four innings and 43 pitches in his rehab start with High-A Lake Elsinore last Thursday, but apparently he showed enough to convince the Padres that he's good to go. While he does not have a set date for a return, Saturday against San Francisco appears most likely for Lucchesi, as that is the team's only "TBA" listing this week, per Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune. Thanks in part to a highly deceptive delivery, the 25-year-old lefty has posted a 3.23 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 48:15 K:BB in 47.1 innings with the big-league team this season.

Kenta Maeda SP | NYY
Dodgers' Kenta Maeda: Lasts only 3.2 innings
Maeda did not factor in the decision after allowing three runs on five hits over 3.2 innings during the win over the Cubs in Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader. He had two strikeouts and issued five walks.
The five walks set a new season high for Maeda as he threw only 40 of 74 pitches for strikes, forcing the Dodgers' bullpen to cover 5.1 innings. The 30-year-old now has a 3.84 ERA and 1.39 WHIP with a 71:26 K:BB across 61 innings this season, and lines up to either face the Mets on Sunday or the Cubs next Monday.

Corbin Burnes SP | ARI
Brewers' Corbin Burnes: Option for big-league bullpen
Burnes pitched in relief Monday for Triple-A Colorado Springs in preparation for possibly joining the Brewers' bullpen, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
The Brewers still see Burnes as a starter long-term, but the team is competing for a playoff spot this season so any strong arm in the upper minors could be considered for a bullpen role. Burnes has a 4.82 ERA in 71 innings a very hitter-friendly environment at Colorado Springs this season.

Freddy Peralta SP | TB
Brewers' Freddy Peralta: Called up for Tuesday's start
Peralta was called up as expected Tuesday and will start against the Pirates.
Peralta made a pair of starts in mid-May for the Brewers. He tossed a gem in his debut against the Rockies, striking out 13 in 5.2 scoreless innings at Coors Field. He was sent down after his following start in which he allowed four runs in four innings against the Twins. In a corresponding move, Boone Logan was designated for assignment.

Joey Wentz SP | ATL
Braves' Joey Wentz: Back in action at High-A
Wentz (undisclosed) allowed one run on three hits and a walk across 2.1 innings in a start for High-A Florida on June 13.
Wentz had been sidelined since May 11 with an undisclosed injury prior to rejoining the Fire Frogs' rotation last week. The young southpaw now has a 3.77 ERA through eight starts this season.

Yu Darvish SP | SD
Cubs' Yu Darvish: Simulated game bumped back to Wednesday
Darvish (triceps) will throw a simulated game Wednesday instead of Tuesday, Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
There haven't been any reports of a setback. The Cubs had Monday's game rained out and rescheduled for Tuesday afternoon during the time in which Darvish was expected to throw, so it's likely that's the reason his workout was pushed back. His return timeline is still not entirely clear.

Clayton Kershaw SP | LAD
Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw: Set for Saturday rehab start
Kershaw (back) will make a rehab start for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
The Dodgers' ace has been out since May 31 with a back strain and was originally expected to miss at least a month. If he only needs one rehab appearance (and Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports that will likely be the case) he would be on schedule to start June 28 against the Cubs.

Johnny Cueto SP | LAA
Giants' Johnny Cueto: Throws sim game Monday
Cueto (elbow) tossed 40 pitches in a simulated game Monday, and will be re-evaluated to determine the next step in his recovery process, Amy Gutierrez of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Monday's sim game was a positive step for Cueto, who has been sidelined with a sprained elbow since May 1. The club now has to determine whether its starter requires another simulated appearance, or whether a rehab start is the next course of action. Cueto is eligible to return from the 60-day disabled list June 30, and it sounds like he may not require much additional time to return to the big leagues.

Zack Greinke SP | KC
Diamondbacks' Zack Greinke: Wins sixth game Monday
Greinke (6-5) allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks with five strikeouts through 6.1 innings to pick up the win Monday over the Angels.
Greinke was clean until he allowed a pair of solo home runs in the fourth inning to Justin Upton and Albert Pujols with the Diamondbacks nursing a 6-0 lead. He recorded a quality start for the first time in three outings and ended a mini-cold streak, but he still hasn't been living up to his ace billing by any means. He'll look to improve his 3.90 ERA next time out Sunday against the Pirates.

Tyler Anderson SP | LAA
Rockies' Tyler Anderson: Home runs lead to second loss
Anderson (4-2) allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks with five strikeouts through 5.1 innings in a loss Monday to the Mets.
Anderson was undone by a pair of home runs, one a 396-foot inside-the-park job by Brandon Nimmo and the other a 422-foot no-doubter off the bat of Wilmer Flores. This marks the fourth time Anderson has allowed multiple home runs in a game this season, and unsurprisingly, three of those four have come at Coors Field. Anderson's ERA is more than a run worse at home, and his next start will come at Coors Field again Saturday against the Marlins.
