Zach Eflin SP | BAL
Phillies' Zach Eflin: Start postponed Saturday
Eflin won't make his scheduled start Saturday after the Phillies' game against the Mets was postponed due to inclement weather, Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
The two teams are scheduled to make the game up as part of a doubleheader in August. The Phillies have yet to announce their rotation plans, so it's unclear if Eflin will be pushed back to start Sunday or if he'll be bypassed.

Noah Syndergaard SP | CLE
Mets' Noah Syndergaard: Saturday's start postponed
Syndergaard won't make his scheduled start Saturday after the Mets' game against the Phillies was postponed due to inclement weather, Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
The two teams will make the game up as part of a doubleheader in August. According to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com, the Mets are sticking with Jacob deGrom for Sunday's series finale, so Syndergaard's next start will now come Tuesday against the Blue Jays.

Chase Anderson RP | TEX
Brewers' Chase Anderson: Hopes to pitch Sunday
Anderson missed Saturday's start due to illness but hopes to be able to pitch Sunday, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Anderson said he didn't sleep much prior to Saturday's game while battling either a stomach bug or food poisoning. He could pitch Sunday, though the odds are slightly lower than they could have been because it will be an afternoon game. Alec Asher could make a spot start if Anderson is unable to return.

Chase Anderson RP | TEX
Brewers' Chase Anderson: Scratched with illness
Anderson was scratched from his scheduled start Saturday against the Rockies due to illness.
Brent Suter will start in his place. Suter was originally scheduled to start Sunday, so if Anderson is healthy then, he could see his start pushed back just a day, though there hasn't yet been any indication of how long the team expects him to be out.

Alec Asher SP | MIL
Brewers' Alec Asher: Returns to majors
The Brewers recalled Asher from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Saturday.
Asher was designated for assignment by the Brewers on April 19 and then outrighted to Colorado Springs after clearing waivers. The 26-year-old started three games for Colorado Springs, allowing six runs (three earned) on 12 hits and four walks over 14 innings. Asher has a career 7.4 K/9 in the minors and doesn't have much fantasy appeal. He could serve in a long-relief role for the Brewers after the team used six relievers to cover seven innings during Friday's victory.

Wade Miley SP | CIN
Brewers' Wade Miley: Shifts to 60-day disabled list
The Brewers transferred Miley (oblique) to the 60-day disabled list Saturday.
Miley hit the 10-day DL on Tuesday with a right oblique strain and was given a recovery timetable of 6-8 weeks, so the shift to the 60-day isn't all that surprising. The veteran left-hander will be eligible to return around the All-Star break.

Brandon Woodruff SP | MIL
Brewers' Brandon Woodruff: Allows seven runs in three-inning start
Woodruff allowed seven runs on nine hits in a no-decision against the Rockies, striking out one and walking one in three innings.
Woodruff had a rough night in his second start of the season, needing 81 pitches (50 for strikes) to get through three innings. Only three of the nine hits allowed went for extra bases, but he nonetheless labored through the start and wasn't really fooling the Rockies' lineup. In eight starts last year, Woodruff went 2-3 with a 4.81 ERA and 1.33 WHIP. If Zach Davies remains on the disabled list and Woodruff fills his vacancy, he would face the Diamondbacks in Arizona in his next start.

Steven Matz RP | TB
Mets' Steven Matz: Control wavers Friday against Phillies
Matz didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 3-1 win over the Phillies, allowing one run on five hits and four walks while striking out three over five innings.
The left-hander threw only 54 of 95 pitches for strikes and walked more batters than he struck out for the first time in seven starts, but he was able to limit the damage and got taken off the hook when the Mets knocked Hector Neris around in the ninth inning. Matz will carry a 3.86 ERA into his next outing Wednesday at home against the Blue Jays.

Kenta Maeda SP | NYY
Dodgers' Kenta Maeda: Struggles against Reds
Maeda (2-3) took the loss, giving up five earned runs on nine hits in 4.2 innings, striking out five and walking two as the Dodgers fell to the Reds 6-2 on Friday.
Maeda was knocked around by Cincinnati in this one and saw his ERA move to 4.75 and his WHIP to 1.53 with the performance. He's got a solid 46:13 K:BB through 36 innings but he's had a handful of rough outings that have bloated his ratios and limited his fantasy impact to this point in the season. He'll look to get on track in a favorable matchup against the Marlins next Thursday.

Eric Lauer SP | LAD
Padres' Eric Lauer: Exits early against Cardinals
Lauer (1-2) got the loss, lasting just 2.1 innings while giving up six runs on seven hits with no strikeouts and a walk as the Padres lost 9-5 to the Cardinals on Friday.
Lauer was coming off a strong outing against the Dodgers that saw him give up no earned runs over six innings but he couldn't follow up with a similar effort as he was shelled by the Cardinals in this one en route to the early exit. It was the second time in four starts this season that Lauer has been touched up for six runs and he now has an 8.27 ERA and a 2.14 WHIP - numbers that leave him well outside the fantasy conversation.
