Zack Wheeler SP | PHI
Mets' Zack Wheeler: Start postponed Sunday
Wheeler won't make his scheduled start Sunday against the Braves as the game has been postponed due to rain, Matt Ehalt of The Bergen Record reports.
The makeup game has been scheduled for May 28 as part of a doubleheader. The Mets have not announced when Wheeler will make his next start. The team opens up a three-game series against the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Walker Buehler SP | SD
Dodgers' Walker Buehler: Will start Monday vs. Marlins
Buehler will be recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City and start Monday's game against the Marlins.
The Dodgers will call upon their top pitching prospect to make a spot start against an exploitable Marlins' lineup. Buehler allowed eight runs over 9.1 innings of relief with the big-league club last season but currently sports a 2.08 ERA and 16:4 K:BB with Oklahoma City this season. He's a valid DFS or streaming option but may not be in the majors long enough to warrant extended roster ownership in season-long formats.

Jack Flaherty SP | DET
Cardinals' Jack Flaherty: Primed to rejoin rotation
Flaherty will likely rejoin the Cardinals' starting rotation following Adam Wainwright's placement on the disabled list Sunday, Mark Saxon of The Athletic St. Louis reports.
Wainwright hit the DL on Sunday with right elbow inflammation, opening up a spot in the rotation. Flaherty is the obvious candidate to fill that vacancy as he's already on the 40-man roster and put up an impressive performance in his start against the Brewers during the season's first week. The 22-year-old also has nothing left to prove in the minors, as he holds a 2.25 ERA and 22:3 K:BB over 20 innings with Triple-A Memphis this year. If he is indeed recalled, he will likely draw a start Tuesday against the Mets. He has mixed-league value when in the majors.

Joe Musgrove SP | SD
Pirates' Joe Musgrove: Not expected to return in coming week
Provided he feels fine Monday following Sunday's bullpen session, Musgrove (shoulder) will throw a simulated game during the coming week, general manager Neal Huntington said Sunday.
Speaking on his weekly radio show, Huntington said he's looking for Musgrove to slot back into the starting rotation when he comes off the disabled list. As a result, it looks as though fantasy owners won't see the right-hander make his 2018 debut for another week at the earliest.

Tyler Glasnow SP | LAD
Pirates' Tyler Glasnow: Won't pitch against Philadelphia
Glasnow will not be available to pitch Sunday after throwing 73 pitches in relief Thursday.
Speaking on his Sunday radio show, manager Clint Hurdle said the 6-foot-8 right-hander would not be available to pitch against the Phillies. Glasnow struck out seven batters in 3.2 innings Thursday, allowing two runs in relief of starter Jameson Taillon.

Ranger Suarez SP | BOS
Phillies' Ranger Suarez: Solid pair of starts at Double-A
Suarez allowed just two runs in 14 innings over his last two starts for Double-A Reading and didn't walk a single batter, The Athletic Philadelphia reports.
The young lefty is notable for his excellent control, with a 4.1 percent walk rate so far this season. Back in 2014, he walked just one batter in 80.2 innings in the Venezuelan Summer League, good for a ridiculously low 0.3 percent walk rate. The 22-year-old may not be much more than a back-end starter, and he's likely still a few years away from the majors, but the profile is intriguing, especially for a team who hasn't had a left-hander start a game since 2016.

Adam Wainwright SP | STL
Cardinals' Adam Wainwright: Placed on DL with elbow inflammation
Wainwright was placed on the 10-day disabled list Sunday with right elbow inflammation.
Wainwright last pitched April 17 against the Cubs, allowing one unearned run on four hits and four walks while striking out five over five innings. There had been no talk of Wainwright dealing with any sort of injury prior to his placement on the disabled list, but manager Mike Matheny revealed the right-hander experienced the inflammation during a pre-start bullpen session Sunday, per David Solomon of 590 The Fan St. Louis. The move is retroactive to April 20, so the 36-year-old will be eligible to return May 1 at the earliest. Jack Flaherty is the most obvious candidate to replace the veteran in the rotation in the meantime.

Stephen Strasburg SP | WAS
Nationals' Stephen Strasburg: Takes loss despite strong start
Strasburg (2-2) allowed two earned runs on five hits while walking two and striking out 10 across seven innings to take the loss Saturday against the Dodgers.
Strasburg allowed two solo home runs but was otherwise excellent Saturday, generating an impressive 17 swinging strikes. While still a small sample, Strasburg has now allowed six home runs this season after allowing just 13 throughout all of 2017. Even so, he has a 2.97 ERA and 0.99 WHIP, so his ratio stats haven't spiked despite his early-season susceptibility to the long ball.

Hyun-Jin Ryu SP | TOR
Dodgers' Hyun-Jin Ryu: Has another dominant outing
Ryu (3-0) struck out eight and allowed two hits while walking three batters across seven innings to record the win Saturday against the Nationals.
Ryu has been strong to begin the season and this start marks the third consecutive time he has pitched at least six innings struck out at least eight. His K:BB is up by over eight percent from last season, a good indication that he is pitching at a much higher level and that his results have been earned to this point. His next start will likely come Friday against the Giants.
