Mikolas didn't factor into the decision Monday against the Rockies, allowing two runs on four hits and one walk in 6.2 innings. He struck out three.

Mikolas brought a no-hit bid into the sixth inning, but it was broken up by a Tyler Freeman single during the sixth frame. The quality start was the veteran right-hander's sixth of the season, though he's exceeded five strikeouts just four times through 23 outings on the year. Mikolas has a lackluster 4.97 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 79:25 K:BB over 117.2 frames, so he doesn't shape up as an appealing streamer this weekend at home versus a dangerous Yankees lineup.

Dollander didn't factor into the decision Monday against the Cardinals, allowing one run on five hits and three walks in five innings. He struck out five.

The rookie right-hander was impressive in his first major-league start since July 6 versus the White Sox, as it was just the second time through 16 outings this year that he fired at least five innings while conceding just one run. Dollander generated a respectable 11 whiffs, and the five punchouts were his most since May 18 in Arizona. He still has a rough 6.35 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 57:36 K:BB across 73.2 frames, so Dollander will remain tough to trust if he sticks around for his next scheduled turn versus the Diamondbacks at hitter-friendly Coors Field.

Quintana (10-4) picked up the win Monday against the Pirates, allowing one run on three hits and one walk in six innings. He struck out three.

Quintana delivered his second consecutive quality start, and he's now tossed at least five innings in 11 straight outings as well as 17 of his 18 for the season. The 36-year-old southpaw continues to struggle with containing the long ball, however, as he's now served up at least one homer in five straight starts. Quintana will bring a steady 3.44 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 69:36 K:BB over 99.1 frames into his next scheduled outing in Cincinnati against the Reds, who have a pitiful .607 OPS versus left-handed pitching since the beginning of July.

Heaney (5-10) took the loss Monday against the Brewers, allowing six runs (five earned) on nine hits and two walks in four innings. He struck out three.

It was Heaney's third straight start with fewer than five innings, and he gave up at least five runs for the fifth time in his last 10 outings. The veteran left-hander has thrown at least five frames on just just two occasions over that latter period, during which he owns a hideous 8.19 ERA, 1.72 WHIP and 24:14 K:BB across 40.2 innings. With a difficult task at Wrigley Field against the Cubs on tap for this weekend, Heaney doesn't set up as the most attractive streaming option for his next appearance.

General manager Matt Arnold stated Monday that the team has yet to decide whether Misiorowski (tibia) will make a rehab start before being activated from the 15-day injured list, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Misiorowski was cleared to face live hitters over the weekend, firing around 60 pitches over three simulated innings. The flamethrower was placed on the 15-day injured list due to a bruised left tibia at the beginning of the month and initially believed he'd return after missing the minimum, but the Brewers appear to have no desire to rush the young hurler back. Next steps for Misiorowski should become clear later in the week.

Abbott (8-3) took the loss Monday against Philadelphia, yielding three runs on six hits and no walks over 7.2 innings with six strikeouts

The Cincinnati southpaw was cruising through seven innings against a tough Phillies lineup but was pulled in the eighth after allowing three consecutive hits with two outs. Abbott tossed 104 total pitches, from which he generated an impressive 18 whiffs, to notch his seventh outing with six or more Ks this season. Through 115.1 total innings, the All-Star lefty has pitched to a 2.41 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 105:35 K:BB. Abbott currently lines up to make his next start at home against the Brewers this weekend.

Walker allowed one run on six hits and one walk over six frames while not factoring into the decision in Monday's 4-1 victory at Cincinnati. He struck out two.

The 32-year-old tallied his third quality start of the season in this 93-pitch performance. The lone blemish on Walker's outing was a run scored on a Gavin Lux single in the first inning. The Phillies right-hander has been impressive since rejoining the rotation July 8, producing a 2.93 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 16:4 K:BB across 30.2 frames since that date. Despite the hot stretch, Walker is likely to return to the bullpen after Aaron Nola (ankle/rib) returns in Philadelphia's weekend road series at Washington. Walker is tentatively scheduled to make one more start in the weekend series against the Nationals before Nola is back.

Reds manager Terry Francona said he met with Burns on Monday to discuss how to handle workload restrictions with the pitcher down the stretch, Charlie Goldsmith of Fox 19 Now Cincinnati reports.

What exactly those workload restrictions will look like is not clear, but with Hunter Greene (groin) rejoining the rotation Wednesday and Nick Lodolo (blister) possibly back next week, Burns could be booted from the Reds' rotation soon. The team doesn't want to completely shut Burns down, so it might have to get creative with his usage. Burns has totaled 100.1 innings this season between the majors and minors after throwing an even 100 last year at Wake Forest. The young righty's next start is tentatively lined up for Friday against the Brewers.

Cavalli is slated to start Monday's game against the Royals in Kansas City, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

The 26-year-old right-hander will make his second straight turn through the rotation after he enjoyed an impressive return to the big leagues last Wednesday in what was his first MLB appearance since Aug. 26, 2022. Cavalli took a no-decision in his start against the Athletics, striking out six batters while allowing three hits and one walk over 4.1 scoreless innings. Despite Cavalli's excellent outing, fantasy managers may want to tread carefully with the rookie in what shapes up as a two-start week, with a second start likely to come during this weekend's series against the Phillies. Before rejoining the big club last week, Cavalli had logged an unremarkable 6.09 ERA and 1.55 WHIP in 65 innings at Triple-A Rochester for the season, though he had posted a 14:0 K:BB in his final two starts prior to his call-up.

The Rockies recalled Dollander from Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday.

Dollander will rejoin the Colorado rotation on Monday with a start in St. Louis. The right-hander posted a 6.68 ERA over 68.2 innings in 15 starts with the Rockies this season and held an 8.74 ERA and 1.85 WHIP in three starts with Albuquerque after being demoted in July. Those numbers make Dollander a risky fantasy proposition, even in more favorable matchups like the one he'll have Monday against the Cardinals.
