Wheeler won't start as scheduled Wednesday against Atlanta since the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

The contest will be made up via a split doubleheader Thursday, with Wheeler set to take the ball for Game 2, per Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer. The veteran right-hander hasn't given up a run in his past three starts and has a 2.42 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 88:14 K:BB across 70.2 innings this year.

Parker could be in danger of losing his rotation spot after posting an 8.46 ERA, 1.81 WHIP and 20:15 K:BB through 27.2 innings over his last six starts, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.

The southpaw held a 1.39 ERA on April 22, but since then things have completely fallen apart for Parker, who served up three homers in 4.2 innings during his most recent outing May 27 in Seattle. The Nationals will give him more time to figure things out, but if Parker's struggles continue into June, he could be painting a bullseye on his back to lose his rotation spot when the team decides prospect Cade Cavalli is ready to be promoted from Triple-A Rochester.

Cavalli has allowed two runs in nine innings with a 13:2 K:BB over his last two starts for Triple-A Rochester, and he could be called up to join the Nationals' rotation at some point in June, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.

The organization wants to make sure Cavalli will be able to handle a regular turn before promoting him, but he's begun to do exactly that at Rochester, building up to 71 pitches (43 strikes) in his most recent start May 22. The 26-year-old right-hander pitched just 8.1 innings combined in 2023 and 2024 while recovering from Tommy John surgery, but he appears to be healthy now, sitting in the mid-90s with his fastball while mixing in a curveball and changeup. Mitchell Parker is also struggling for the Nats, posting an 8.46 ERA over his last six starts, and if he's unable to turn things around soon, it would provide a clear opening for Cavalli to see his first big-league action since 2022.

Quintana (shoulder) is preparing to come off the injured list to start Sunday against the Phillies, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

The veteran left-hander threw 71 pitches across four frames during his rehab start with High-A Wisconsin on Tuesday, priming him to rejoin Milwaukee's rotation this weekend in Philadelphia. Quintana was pitching well prior to the shoulder injury and had a 2.65 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 24:11 K:BB across 34 innings.

The Padres recalled Hart from Triple-A El Paso to start Wednesday's game against the Marlins.

Hart will fill Michael King's (shoulder) spot in San Diego's rotation after King was placed on the 15-day injured list Sunday. Hart made the Padres' Opening Day rotation, but he was demoted to Triple-A after logging a 6.00 ERA in five starts. The 32-year-old has made three starts at El Paso, tallying a 3.07 ERA and 12:12 K:BB over 14.2 innings. Omar Cruz was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move.

Megill (4-4) picked up the win Tuesday, giving up two runs on four hits and four walks over 5.2 innings in a 6-4 victory over the White Sox. He struck out six.

The right-hander ran out of gas in the sixth inning, loading the bases on a single and two walks before getting the hook after 100 pitches (64 strikes), but Jose Butto got out of the jam without adding any runs to Megill's ledger. While he fell short of his second quality start of the season, Megill did collect his first win since April 21, snapping a five-start winless streak that had seen him stumble to a 6.17 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 36:12 K:BB over 23.1 innings. The 29-year-old lines up for a tough test in his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road early next week against the Dodgers.

Quintana (shoulder) gave up three earned runs on six hits and one walk while striking out three over four innings in a rehab start Tuesday with High-A Wisconsin.

Quintana wasn't especially sharp in the rehab outing, but he built up to 71 pitches and should be ready to return from the 15-day injured list to make his next start with the Brewers on Sunday in Philadelphia. He'll likely return to Milwaukee on Wednesday for further evaluation and will presumably throw another bullpen session before the Brewers lock him in to start Sunday. Before being shelved earlier this month with a left shoulder impingement, Quintana had gone 4-1 with a 2.65 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 24:11 K:BB across 34 innings.

Priester (finger) is listed as the Brewers' probable starting pitcher for Friday's game against the Phillies in Philadelphia.

Priester contended with a blister on his right middle finger during his previous start last Saturday, but the Brewers were apparently satisfied with how he looked during his between-starts bullpen session and have cleared him for his next turn through the rotation. The 25-year-old pitched well last weekend in spite of the blister and owns a 2.53 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 15:7 K:BB in 21.1 innings over his last four outings. Despite his strong form of late, Priester could be at risk of losing his starting role if the Brewers elect to keep a five-man rotation in place once both Jose Quintana (shoulder) and Brandon Woodruff (ankle) return from the injured list.

Suarez (4-0) picked up the win in Tuesday's 2-0 victory over Atlanta, allowing four hits and three walks over six scoreless innings. He struck out eight.

The eight Ks were a season high for the southpaw as he reeled off his fourth straight win and fourth straight quality start, while extending his scoreless streak to 13.2 innings. Suarez got a late start to the campaign due to back trouble and had a rough 2025 debut against Arizona on May 4, but since then he's been impressive, producing a 1.01 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 25:8 K:BB in 26.2 innings during his win streak. He'll look to keep rolling in his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home this weekend against the Brewers.

Singer (6-3) got the win Tuesday over the Royals, allowing two runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out three over seven innings.

The Royals picked up a pair of runs in the second inning against Singer but he otherwise shut down his former club while reaching seven innings for the first time since his season debut. None of the hits Singer allowed went for extra bases and it was his second consecutive outing not allowing a home run. However, Singer has not had more than four strikeouts in an outing since April 23 and has a 17:14 K:BB over his last six starts. He'll look to make it two wins in a row when the Brewers come to town to begin next week.
