The Mets selected Tidwell's contract from Triple-A Syracuse ahead of his scheduled start in the first game of Sunday's doubleheader with the Cardinals in St. Louis.

Tidwell is making his MLB debut in a spot start to give the Mets' rotation extra rest before he returns to Syracuse. Over his six Triple-A outings in 2025, the 23-year-old righty has delivered a 5.00 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 37:10 K:BB across 27 innings.

Schwellenbach (1-3) took the loss against the Dodgers on Saturday, allowing six runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out four batters over 3.2 innings.

Schwellenbach began his outing with a scoreless first frame, but he struggled mightily after that. The right-hander gave up a run in the second and two more in the third before Los Angeles blitzed him for three two-out runs (one of which scored after he departed) in the fourth. It was the second time this season Schwellenbach has yielded six runs in an appearance, though he's notched a quality start in each of his other five outings. He'll carry a 3.92 ERA into his next trip to the mound, which is slated to be a home matchup against Cincinnati next week.

Sasaki (1-1) earned the win over Atlanta on Saturday, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out four batters over five innings.

The start of the game was delayed for about three hours due to a rain delay, so there was some doubt about whether Sasaki would end up pitching at all. The rookie right-hander ended up giving the Dodgers five innings, and that was just enough for him to be rewarded with his first victory in the majors leagues. Sasaki did give up three runs -- one of which came on an Ozzie Albies homer -- but he continued to show growth, tossing 56 of 98 pitches for strikes and notching 15 first-pitch strikes across 24 batters. He also tied a season low with two walks and equaled a season high with four punchouts. Sasaki was unable to pitch more than four innings in any of his first three starts, but he's completed at least five frames in each of his subsequent four outings. He hasn't exactly been a fantasy stud with a 3.86 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 24:20 K:BB through 30.1 innings, but Sasaki is at least holding his own as a big-league hurler and is increasingly showing why he was such a coveted arm before signing with the Dodgers during the offseason.

Quintana (4-1) took the loss Saturday against the Cubs after allowing six runs on seven hits and one walk over five innings. He struck out six.

Quintana gave up a run on two singles and a walk during the opening frame, but it was the long ball that hurt him the rest of the day as Chicago clubbed three homers across the fourth and fifth innings. The veteran left-hander allowed just three runs while winning his first four starts with the Brewers, but the Cubs' league-leading offense (208 runs scored) got to him Saturday. Quintana will carry a 2.83 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 21:9 K:BB across 28.2 innings into a matchup with the Rays next weekend.

Taillon (2-1) earned the win Saturday in Milwaukee after giving up two runs on three hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out five.

The veteran right-hander wasn't exactly dominant as he induced just four swinging strikes, but he delivered his second straight quality start to help secure his first victory since April 2. Taillon surrendered six earned runs during his season debut in Arizona, but he's posted a 2.80 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 30:8 K:BB in 35.1 innings across his past six outings.

Meyer allowed five runs on 10 hits and two walks across five innings during Saturday's win against the A's. He did not strike out a batter.

The right-hander posted a 12.4 K/9 across his first six starts of 2025, but he generated just five whiffs Saturday as he failed to record a strikeout for the first time through 19 big-league starts. Meyer delivered four quality starts with a 2.10 ERA and 41:7 K:BB in his first five outings of the season, but he's surrendered 10 earned runs with a 6:6 K:BB in his past two turns through the rotation. A matchup with the White Sox next weekend should be a prime opportunity for the 26-year-old to get back on track.

Lodolo (3-3) took the loss against Washington on Saturday, allowing seven runs (six earned) on 10 hits and two walks while striking out four batters over 5.1 innings.

Lodolo fell behind early, giving up two runs in the first inning. He yielded another tally in the fourth and was then chased in the sixth after giving up four more runs, three of which came on an Amed Rosario homer. This was a frustrating performance for Lodolo, who had shined with a nine-strikeout, seven-inning scoreless effort in Colorado his previous trip to the mound. Consistency has been an issue for the southpaw this season -- he's racked up four quality starts in seven appearances but has surrendered 13 earned runs over 15.2 frames across his other three outings. Lodolo still holds a solid 3.27 ERA, and he'll look to bounce back in his next start, which projects to be a road matchup in Atlanta.

Williams (2-3) earned the win over Cincinnati on Saturday, allowing four runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out four batters over 5.1 innings.

Williams appeared like he might be in for a short outing after giving up two runs in the first inning and another in the second, but he settled in from there and didn't allow another run to cross the plate until Jake Fraley hit a solo homer against him in the sixth. Meanwhile, the Nationals' offense was firing on all cylinders, helping Williams to his first victory since April 6 -- his second start of the campaign. Williams has yet to complete six innings this season, but he's gone at least five frames in all but one of his seven starts. He'll carry a shaky 5.86 ERA into his next outing, which is tentatively scheduled to come against the Cardinals next weekend.

Pfaadt (5-2) took the loss against the Phillies on Saturday, allowing seven runs (six earned) on nine hits and one walk while striking out six over 4.2 innings.

Pfaadt had given up four earned runs over his last four outings heading into Saturday, and he got off to a nice start with three strikeouts in the first inning. It was downhill from there for the 26-year-old right-hander, who yielded home runs to Max Kepler and J.T. Realmuto in the second and third innings, respectively, before being tagged for a seventh run in the fourth. Pfaadt's performance rose his ERA and WHIP to 3.79 and 1.24, respectively, over 40.1 innings, and his 43 hits allowed is fifth-most among qualified starters in the National League. He'll look to get back on track in his next start, which is tentatively slated for next week at home against the Dodgers.

Nola (1-5) earned the win against the Diamondbacks on Saturday, allowing four hits and one walk while striking out eight over six scoreless innings.

Per Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Nola was in danger of being scratched from Saturday's start after he felt his neck lock up, which led the Phillies to reinstate Ranger Suarez from the 15-day injured list as an emergency option. Nola relayed after the game that the tightness was limited to the right side of his neck, and it didn't appear to bother him all that much as he tossed 109 pitches (69 strikes) over six scoreless frames while generating 12 whiffs and eight groundouts. How Nola's neck responds following Saturday's outing will determine his availability for his next scheduled start against the Guardians next weekend, but the strong performance is an indication the issue isn't a serious concern.
