Martin (1-4) took the loss Thursday against the Royals, allowing four runs on seven hits and a walk across 4.1 innings. He struck out two.

It's the first time since April 17 that Martin allowed more than three earned runs -- he'd pitched to a 1.69 ERA in his previous three outings (16 innings). Overall, the 28-year-old Martin sports a 4.01 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 28:12 K:BB across 42.2 innings this year. He'll look to get back on track in his next start, tentatively scheduled for next week in Cincinnati.

Bubic (4-2) earned the win Thursday over the White Sox, allowing six hits and one walk across seven scoreless innings. He struck out seven.

It was another stellar outing from Bubic, who's now held opponents scoreless in three of his last four starts. The southpaw's ERA is down to 1.69 through eight starts (48 innings) this year with a 1.10 WHIP and 47:14 K:BB. Bubic will look to keep rolling in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week in Houston.

Leiter (2-2) took the loss Thursday against the Red Sox, allowing four runs on three hits and four walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out three.

Leiter has now dropped back-to-back outings, allowing 10 runs over 9.2 innings in that span. The 25-year-old right-hander's ERA is up to 5.09 through his first 23 innings this season with a 1.30 WHIP and 18:11 K:BB. Leiter will look to turn things around in his next start, tentatively lined up for next week at home against the Rockies.

Bello did not factor into the decision Thursday against the Rangers, allowing four hits and five walks across 4.2 scoreless innings. He struck out one.

Bello managed to hold the Rangers scoreless despite issuing a season-high five walks. However, he would leave the game in the fifth inning, one out shy of qualifying for the win, after throwing 83 pitches. Overall, Bello is 2-0 with an impressive 2.01 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 13:12 K:BB through his first four outings (22.1 innings) after missing the start of the season due to a shoulder strain. He's currently lined up to face the Tigers on the road in his next start.

Ober did not factor into the decision Thursday against the Orioles, allowing two runs (one earned) on eight hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out six.

While Ober's winning streak ended at four, the right-hander allowed just one earned run in a fourth consecutive outing (despite allowing seven or more hits in each start). Ober now sports a 3.50 ERA with a 1.40 WHIP and 37:9 K:BB across 43.2 innings this season. His currently lined up for a rematch with the Orioles on the road in his next start.

Kremer did not factor into the decision Thursday against the Twins, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks across seven innings. He struck out eight.

Kremer has now gone seven innings in back-to-back starts, allowing just two runs on six hits in that span. After a rough start to the year, the 29-year-old right-hander looks to be turning things around. His ERA now sits at 5.24 through eight outings (44.2 innings) with a 1.28 WHIP and 30:11 K:BB. Kremer is currently lined up for a rematch with the Twins at home in his next start.

Greene suffered a Grade 1 right groin strain during his start Wednesday against Atlanta, Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Greene's injury forced him to make an early exit after just three innings Wednesday, and manager Terry Francona confirmed Thursday that the right-hander will land on the injured list, per Charlie Goldsmith of the Dayton Daily News. A replacement for Greene in Cincinnati's rotation will likely be named once his move to the IL is official; meanwhile, the 25-year-old will be held out until at least late May.

Kopech (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Kopech began the season on the injured list due to forearm inflammation, but a right shoulder impingement has extended his absence by a couple of months. It's unclear how long the Dodgers plan on keeping the 29-year-old in the minors, but once active, Kopech should play an important role in a Dodgers bullpen that's been decimated by injuries this year.

Denaburg announced his retirement from professional baseball Thursday and will pursue a career in football, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Denaburg plans to enroll at the University of Central Florida for the fall semester. A first-round pick by the Nationals in the 2018 First-Year Player Draft, Denaburg's baseball career was sabotaged by numerous injuries. The 25-year-old committed to play baseball and football at the University of Florida out of high school before deciding to sign with the Nationals.

Ryan (illness) will start Saturday's game against the Giants, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Ryan had been slated to take the ball Thursday versus the Orioles but was scratched due to illness. However, he was able to throw a bullpen session Thursday and will be all systems go Saturday at Target Field against the Giants. Chris Paddack will draw the start in the series opener Friday.
