Parker (3-2) earned the win Monday against the Twins, allowing three runs on seven hits and one walk over six innings. He struck out seven.

Parker tossed his second quality start of the season, requiring 94 pitches to complete the accomplishment. The rookie southpaw has impressed in his first 38 career innings, posting a 3.32 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 32:8 K:BB. Parker currently lines up to face the Mariners in his next start this weekend.

Lopez (4-3) took the loss Monday against Washington, allowing seven runs on eight hits and one walk over five innings. He struck out five.

Lopez was done in by the long ball, yielding two homers in a game for the second time this season. The Minnesota right-hander entered 2024 with a career 1.1 HR/9 and now sports a 1.5 HR/9 in 55.1 innings this season. Lopez's ERA sits at 4.72, almost a full tick higher than his career 3.86 mark entering the season. He is tentatively scheduled to make his next start against Texas at home this weekend.

Whitlock has damage in his right UCL and will likely need surgery, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Whitlock was shut down from throwing after he reported soreness in his right elbow Wednesday, and after further evaluation, it's been discovered that he has ligament damage. The right-hander will see a doctor in Birmingham later in the week, as he could be in the process of seeking a second opinion before electing surgery.

Olson has been diagnosed with a bruised right hip after being struck by a comebacker during Monday's start against Kansas City.

Olson appears to have escaped with a minor injury, though the team will closely monitor him over the next few days. His next start tentatively lines up for Saturday against the Blue Jays, and the club should have clarity on his upcoming availability later in the week. Olson noted after the game that he expects to be fine, and he was already moving around better, per Chris McCosky of The Detroit News.

The Dodgers optioned Knack to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Knack filled in admirably Sunday in a spot start against the Reds, surrendering one run on three hits and one walk while fanning five over 4.2 innings. He'll be moved back to the minors to make room for Yohan Ramirez, who was acquired in a trade from the Mets earlier in the day.

Olson exited Monday's start against the Royals after being struck by a line drive on his right hip, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports. He surrendered two runs on five hits and one walk while striking out two over 2.2 innings before departing.

Olson was forced to leave the game after being hit by a comebacker that registered at 102 mph off the bat, though he did attempt to fire a few warmup pitches before the training staff walked him off the field, per Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press. Beau Brieske entered the game to replace Olson in the bottom of the third inning.

May (elbow) has started throwing off a mound at the Dodgers' team facility in Arizona, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

May has been slowly working his way back from the surgery underwent on his right flexor tendon and UCL in July. The right-hander will progressively increase his workload on the mound before he'll likely throw live batting practice and ultimately go on an extended minor-league rehab assignment. The organization will likely be especially cautious in their approach to May's recovery, and his return to the majors is currently projected to come around the All-Star break.

Miller (shoulder) is expected to throw a simulated game Tuesday, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Miller continues to make progress in his recovery after being sent to the 15-day injured list April 13 due to right shoulder inflammation. He successfully completed a bullpen session Saturday, and as expected, he's now been given the green light to toss a sim game. Miller will likely be sent out on a rehab assignment later in the week, assuming all goes well Tuesday.

Ross was removed from Monday's start against the Marlins after one scoreless inning due to back tightness, Sophia Minnaert of Bally Sports Wisconsin reports.

Ross was reportedly dealing with some back tightness before Monday's start, but he felt good enough to give it a go after warming up. However, his back tightened back up during a 15-pitch first inning, and he's been officially diagnosed with a low back strain. Jared Koenig was called upon out of the bullpen following the right-hander's departure and will likely be asked to eat up a few frames.

Sheehan revealed Monday that last week's right elbow surgery was an internal brace procedure, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

The internal brace procedure typically allows for a shorter rehab than a traditional Tommy John surgery, although Sheehan noted Monday that he's been told to expect the rehab to last 13 months. That puts the young right-hander out until around the All-Star break next year.
