Jon Gray SP | TEX
Rangers' Jon Gray: Tosses eight scoreless innings
Gray (3-1) earned the win Saturday, allowing three hits and two walks over eight scoreless innings against Oakland. He struck out five.
Gray picked up his second straight quality start, blanking the lowly Athletics across eight innings after allowing one run over seven innings in his previous start. Though the 31-year-old has strung together a pair of strong performances and has yet to allow more than four runs in a start, Gray sports only a 6.31 K/9 so far, down from his 2022 average of 9.47 K/9 and 2021 average of 9.48 K/9 while giving up 1.39 HR/9, which would match his career high. Gray has had significantly more success against right-handed hitting, allowing a slash line of .212/.278/.364 compared to a .275/.366/.478 to lefties.

Musgrove (1-1) allowed four runs on eight hits and four walks while striking out five over 5.2 innings, taking the loss Saturday versus the Dodgers.
J.D. Martinez took Musgrove deep for a three-run home run in the first inning, and Will Smith added an RBI single in the third to close out the scoring. He's at a 6.63 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 19:8 K:BB across 19 innings through four starts. The right-hander is projected for a home start versus the Red Sox next weekend.

Dodgers' Julio Urias: Strong in Saturday's win
Urias (5-3) allowed two runs on three hits and struck out four without walking a batter to earn the win Saturday over the Padres.
Urias completed seven innings for just the second time this year, and those two games have been his best of the season. He limited the damage to solo home runs by Juan Soto and Ha-Seong Kim, both of which came in the first two innings. Urias has quality starts in five of his nine outings this season, pitching to a 3.61 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 52:9 K:BB across 52.1 frames. He's tentatively projected to make his next start on the road in St. Louis.

Ryan Feltner SP | COL
Rockies' Ryan Feltner: Being evaluated for head injury
Rockies manager Bud Black told reporters that Feltner is under observation at the hospital and being evaluated after being hit in the head by a line drive during Saturday's game against the Phillies, Jenny Cavnar of AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain reports.
Black also mentioned that the team will receive more information on Feltner's status in the morning. The injury occurred when Nick Castellanos hit a line shot that directly connected with Feltner's head in the second inning, and while he did walk off under his own power with trainers, he was unable to continue. The right-hander will likely need to clear the concussion protocol before returning to action and could be headed for the injured list.

Anthony DeSclafani RP | ARI
Giants' Anthony DeSclafani: Leaves with toe injury
Giants manager Gabe Kapler said that DeSclafani left Saturday's start against the Diamondbacks with a left toe injury, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Kapler told reporters that DeSclafani dropped a piano bench on his right toe a few weeks ago, and that the toe was "bugging" him during Saturday's start before he ultimately exited. The right-hander should be considered day-to-day at this point, but whether he can make his scheduled start next weekend will depend on how he responds in the coming days.

Giants' Anthony DeSclafani: Leaves with apparent injury
DeSclafani left Saturday's start against the Diamondbacks with a potential injury in the sixth inning, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. He allowed three runs in five-plus innings before leaving.
DeSclafani appeared to tweak his ankle while trying to make a play on a grounder before leaving with a trainer. Scott Alexander has taken over on the mound in DeSclafani's absence.

Ryan Feltner SP | COL
Rockies' Ryan Feltner: Leaves after being hit in head
Feltner left Saturday's start against the Phillies after being hit in the head during the second inning, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. He allowed four runs in 1.2 innings before exiting.
Feltner took a comebacker directly to the head and immediately left the contest, with Peter Lambert taking over on the mound. One positive development is that Feltner was able to leave the field under his own power after visiting with the training staff, but he'll obviously need to undergo testing and likely clear the concussion protocol before potentially retaking the field.

Astros' Lance McCullers: Continues bullpen work
McCullers (forearm) threw another bullpen session Saturday, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.
McCullers has been out all season while working back from a strained forearm. He's thrown multiple bullpen sessions but is not yet at full strength. His velocity sat 89-91 mph in Saturday's session, down significantly from his average of 93.3 mph last year. He's also still only throwing four-seamers, changeups and sinkers, with cutters expected to follow Tuesday and his breaking pitches sometime after that.
