DeJong went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 11-3 win over the Rockies.

DeJong gave the White Sox the lead on a two-run home run in the sixth and added an RBI single and a run scored in the eighth. This was the shortstop's second multi-hit game in a row, and he is now tied for second at the position in home runs on the season with 15. The 30-year-old is also hitting .241 with 34 RBI and 33 runs scored over 280 plate appearances in 2024.

Rocchio is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Royals.

Rocchio will be absent from the lineup for the second time in three games. He went 1-for-4 with three strikeouts in Friday's 10-3 loss to Kansas City. Gabriel Arias will start at shortstop and bat ninth against Royals southpaw Cole Ragans.

Hamilton is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against San Diego, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Hamilton went 0-for-5 with two strikeouts in Friday's 9-2 loss to the Padres, and he'll begin Saturday's contest in the dugout. Ceddanne Rafaela will start at shortstop and bat ninth against San Diego right-hander Michael King.

Witt went 1-for-3 with two walks, one stolen base and two runs scored in Friday's 10-3 win over the Guardians.

Witt previously went 10 games without a steal and hit just .184 (7-for-38) in that span. While that's a rare cold stretch for the shortstop, he salvaged it by knocking five extra-base hits in that period. Witt is up to 22 steals this year while adding 12 home runs, 53 RBI, 63 runs scored and a .310/.363/.531 slash line over 84 contests.

Schuemann went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one stolen base in Friday's 9-4 win over the Diamondbacks.

Schuemann supplied a sacrifice fly in the fourth inning and an RBI single in the eighth. The 27-year-old has gone 21 games without a multi-hit effort since his 4-for-4 performance in Atlanta on June 1. He was hitting .266 after that game, but he's at .226 now while adding a .630 OPS, three home runs, 15 RBI, 26 runs scored and five steals across 61 contests.

Correa went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 3-2 extra-inning loss to the Mariners.

Correa left Thursday's game with a bruised right wrist, but he didn't end up missing time. The homer was his ninth of the season and got him to the 40-RBI mark this year, though it was all the run production the Twins could muster in Friday's game. The shortstop has 12 multi-hit efforts over his last 21 games, going 36-for-83 (.434) in that span. For the year, he's at a .312/.381/.506 slash line across 64 contests.

McKinstry is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Angels.

McKinstry will yield to Ryan Kreidler at shortstop for the third time in the last four games. McKinstry is 4-for-29 (.138) with 10 strikeouts since June 12.

Correa (wrist) is playing shortstop and batting second Friday against Seattle.

Correa was removed from Thursday's game after being hit by a pitch, but his bruised right wrist won't force him to miss a start. He went 4-for-9 with four runs and two RBI during this week's series against Arizona.

Cespedes is day-to-day with left hand soreness and is expected to make his debut for Single-A Salem next week, Chris Hatfield of SoxProspects.com reports.

This explains why Cespedes has not played since getting promoted to Single-A on Tuesday. He slashed .319/.400/.615 with five home runs and an 18.1 percent strikeout rate in 25 games in the Florida Complex League.

Cespedes was promoted from the Florida Complex League to Single-A Salem on Tuesday.

He hasn't gotten into a game yet, which is a bit odd, so perhaps he's dealing with something, although there has been no reporting on that front. Cespedes slashed .319/.400/.615 with five home runs and an 18.1 percent strikeout rate in 25 games in the FCL. He split time between second base and shortstop, but considering he's just an average runner now and is listed at 5-foot-8, 181 pounds, it seems likely that he'll end up at the keystone long term.
