Javier Baez SS | DET
Cubs' Javier Baez: Launches 17th home run
Baez went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and two runs scored in Wednesday's 10-1 win over the Rockies.
Baez just keeps rolling, as he now has a robust .907 OPS to go along with 17 home runs, 44 runs scored and 46 RBI through 65 games. The 26-year-old will trade in Coors Field for Dodger Stadium beginning Thursday, but he figures to keep producing elite numbers no matter what ballpark he's in.

Jon Berti 3B | CHC
Marlins' Jon Berti: Takes part in fielding drills
Berti (oblique) fielded grounders Tuesday and has started a hitting and throwing progression, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
The report doesn't mention that Berti has resumed a running program or that he's been able to track fly balls, so until that happens, he probably can't be considered close to starting up a minor-league rehab assignment. Berti, who has been sidelined since May 18 with a left oblique strain, had been part of an unproductive timeshare in center field with Rosell Herrera. JT Riddle and Harold Ramirez have seemingly since surpassed both Herrera and Berti on the depth chart at the position, so the 29-year-old will likely be relegated to a utility role once healthy.

Pablo Reyes RF | SD
Pirates' Pablo Reyes: Exits with potential injury
Reyes exited Wednesday's game for Triple-A Indianapolis with an undisclosed injury, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Reyes exited Wednesday's game in the top of the first inning after suffering what looked like an ankle injury. In 30 games since being optioned to Triple-A, Reyes is slashing .267/.296/.495 with five homers and three stolen bases.

Corey Seager SS | TEX
Dodgers' Corey Seager: Likely out weeks with hamstring strain
Manager Dave Roberts said Seager suffered a Grade 2-plus left hamstring strain in the ninth inning of Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Angels and will likely be headed to the 10-day injured list, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Seager suffered the injury when he pulled up lame while running to third base on an Alex Verdugo base hit. He'll undergo an MRI on Wednesday before the extent of the injury is officially known, but if the diagnosis is confirmed, the star shortstop would likely be sidelined for around 4-to-6 weeks, if not longer. Utility man Chris Taylor would represent the most likely candidate to settle into an everyday role while Seager is on the mend.

Nick Ahmed SS | TEX
Diamondbacks' Nick Ahmed: Scores run in return
Ahmed went 1-for-3 with a run scored in Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Phillies.
Ahmed returned to action after missing one game due to a foot injury, one the Diamondbacks had implied wasn't a serious setback. The shortstop is hitting a career-high .269 while also generating a career-best .326 on-base percentage. The tradeoff for better hitting has been a drop in home runs -- he's hit four homers in 66 games after knocking 16 in 2018.

Nick Ahmed SS | TEX
Diamondbacks' Nick Ahmed: Back in action
Ahmed (foot) is starting at shortstop and batting seventh Tuesday against the Phillies, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.
Ahmed was lifted from Sunday's series finale due to a bruised left foot, but after sitting out Monday, he'll be ready to roll for the second contest of the series. He's slashing .268/.323/.407 with four homers, 25 RBI and four stolen bases through 65 games this season.

Trea Turner SS | PHI
Nationals' Trea Turner: Single short of cycle Monday
Turner went 3-for-6 with a double, a triple, a home run, two runs scored and two RBI in Monday's rout of the White Sox.
He was caught stealing for the first time this season, but otherwise it was another hugely productive evening for the shortstop. Turner's now reeled off three straight multi-hit performances, and he's slashing .340/.375/.698 over his last 12 games with 11 extra-base hits (six doubles, two triples and three homers) among his 18 knocks.

Paul DeJong SS | DET
Cardinals' Paul DeJong: Gets rare day off
DeJong is not in the lineup Monday against the Marlins.
DeJong will head to the bench for what appears to be a rare day off following a string of 32 straight starts during which he slashed .200/.341/.364 with five homers and two stolen bases. Yairo Munoz is starting at shortstop and hitting sixth in place of DeJong on Monday.

Nick Ahmed SS | TEX
Diamondbacks' Nick Ahmed: Not playing Monday
Ahmed (foot) is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Phillies.
The Diamondbacks are viewing Ahmed as day-to-day for the time being after he sustained a bone contusion in his left foot during Sunday's win over the Blue Jays. If Ahmed's foot fails to show much improvement after a day or two of rest, a stint on the 10-day injured list would become more realistic. Ketel Marte will spell Ahmed at shortstop in the first game of Arizona's East Coast road swing.

Diamondbacks' Nick Ahmed: Has bone contusion
Ahmed is believed to have a bone contusion in his left foot, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.
Ahmed sustained the injury during the third inning Sunday and was removed from the Diamondbacks' win over the Blue Jays. The injury is not considered serious, and there are no plans for Ahmed to undergo tests.
