Trevor Story SS | BOS
Rockies' Trevor Story: Set for testing on elbow
Story, who exited Monday's 8-2 loss to the Dodgers with a right elbow soreness, will undergo further testing Tuesday, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.
Rockies manager Bud Black relayed that team trainers feel good about Story's health after subjecting him to some rudimentary tests following his departure, but the shortstop will receive some scans just to ensure he's not dealing with any structural damage. Story, who suffered the injury after making a diving stab in the field in the first inning, noted that the issue made it difficult for him to extend through his swing, according to Newman. With that in mind, it wouldn't be surprising if Story was withheld from the lineup for a few days even if he ends up being cleared of a significant injury.

Javier Baez SS | DET
Cubs' Javier Baez: Smashes homer in win
Baez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's win over the Diamondbacks.
The homer was just the second in the last two weeks for Baez as he's cooled off a bit with just one multi-hit game in that span. Nonetheless, Baez is putting up some MVP-caliber numbers with 32 home runs, 105 RBI and a .294 average.

Rockies' Trevor Story: Departs with injury
Story was removed from Monday's game against the Dodgers with an apparent wrist or hand injury, Alanna Rizzo of SportsNewLA reports.
Story exited the game in the middle of his fourth-inning at-bat. He appeared uncomfortable following a swing, and after the trainer and manager Bud Black came out to check on Story, he was lifted from the contest. The extent and location of the issue should be released shortly.

Paul DeJong SS | DET
Cardinals' Paul DeJong: Sets table effectively
DeJong went 1-for-3 with a walk and two runs in a win over the Dodgers on Sunday.
DeJong came home on both of Yadier Molina's RBI singles, giving him his first game with multiple runs since Sept. 4. The shortstop has also reached safely in nine consecutive games, a welcome stretch of offensive success following a lackluster August in which he hit just .202 and posted a forgettable .282 on-base percentage.

Johan Camargo SS | SF
Braves' Johan Camargo: Expected to return Monday
Camargo (groin) should be penciled into the starting lineup Monday against the Cardinals, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
Camargo has been held off the diamond for the past four games due to a left groin issue, but he should be good to go for the start of Atlanta's three-game showdown with St. Louis. The 24-year-old owns a .274/.354/.468 slash line through 419 at-bats (122 games) this season.

This marks the fourth game in a row Camargo will watch from the bench as a result of his groin injury. Trevor Story SS | BOS
Rockies' Trevor Story: Swipes 26th base
Story went 1-for-4 with a stolen base against the Giants on Saturday.
Story reached base only once but still managed to steal his 26th base of the season. While his home-run barrage has continued -- he has 33 for the season -- the stolen base was Story's first since Sept. 4. Still, he's closing in on a 30-30 season and is having a career-best season in nearly all hitting statistics.
