Baez went 2-for-4 with two home runs in Tuesday's loss to the Pirates.

Not only were these Baez's first home runs of the year, but this marked his first multi-hit outing of the season as well. Although Baez's .194 batting average leaves much to be desire, the 25-year-old figures to see regular playing time as he aims to get back into rhythm at the dish.

Arcia is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cardinals.

Despite reaching base twice and knocking in two runs during Monday's win over the Cardinals, Arcia will head to the bench with a difficult righty in Carlos Martinez toeing the rubber for the opposition. Arcia is just 1-for-11 (.091) in his career against Martinez, so Eric Sogard will start at shortstop and hit leadoff.

Pennington is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Phillies.

Pennington may see semi-regular playing time at the hot corner with Eugenio Suarez (thumb) out, at least until the team calls up Nick Senzel. However, the veteran will get the night off Tuesday, allowing prospect Alex Blandino to make his major-league debut in his place.

Turner is batting second Tuesday against the Braves.

Through the first 10 games of the season, Turner has only hit sixth or leadoff -- the latter occurred when Adam Eaton was out. The speedy shortstop will now take a spot in the top third of the order, potentially opening up more run-scoring opportunities for him while he's hitting ahead of Bryce Harper and Anthony Rendon.

Owings started in right field and went 1-for-4 with a strikeout in Monday's 2-1 win over the Giants.

There wasn't much offense to be had in the series opener, but Owings was able to reach base on a single to left center in the seventh inning, extending his hitting streak to nine games. Owings was later picked off first base in what was officially marked in the stat sheet as being caught stealing, but it shouldn't impact the 26-year-old's aggressiveness on the bases going forward. In addition to the impact he provides in stolen bases, Owings showed major growth in the power department last season, making him a respectable fantasy option in mixed formats while he continues to receive at least semi-regular at-bats.

Camargo (oblique) shifted his rehab assignment to Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday, MLB.com reports. The 24-year-old started at third base and went 0-for-3 with a walk in Gwinnett's 4-2 loss to Durham.

Camargo had previously appeared in two games for High-A Florida as part of the rehab assignment and tentatively appears on track to come off the 10-day disabled list later this week. It's not believed that Camargo has suffered any setbacks with his strained right oblique since beginning the rehab assignment, but the Braves can afford to take things slowly with him given how well Ryan Flaherty has fared as the team's everyday third baseman thus far. Flaherty has slashed .375/.474/.500 through nine games, though his middling track record as a hitter over parts of seven MLB seasons suggests that major regression is coming. Expect Flaherty to eventually fade into a utility role and open up regular at-bats for Camargo at the hot corner.

Pennington is batting seventh and starting at third base Monday against the Phillies.

With Eugenio Suarez (thumb) landing on the disabled list, Pennington figures to get a good amount of playing time at the hot corner for the next few weeks. Prospect Alex Blandino could also factor into the playing time division, but the veteran infielder's decent start to the season (2-for-6, three walks) should allow him to grab a good number of starts at the onset of Suarez's absence.

Crawford is out of the lineup for the second time in three days Monday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Scott Kingery will make his third start of the season at shortstop in Crawford's place. It was clear when Kingery made the Opening Day roster that he would play all over the diamond and steal starts from several different Phillies. As of Monday, Crawford will be the one most affected by Kingery's presence. It was thought that third baseman Maikel Franco's job would be the most at risk, but with Franco hitting .304/.385/.696 compared to .043/.083/.043 for Crawford, it's Crawford who is losing out. He'll need to start hitting if he's to win more playing time.

Swanson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over the Rockies.

He went yard back-to-back with Nick Markakis in the sixth inning, giving Swanson his first homer of the season. The young shortstop is enjoying a blistering start at the plate, slashing .382/.400/.518 through eight games, and while those numbers will come down he should settle in as a much better hitter than he showed in 2017.

Turner went 1-for-5 with a walk, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's extra-inning loss to the Mets.

Despite the fact that he's hitting lower in the order, Turner already has five steals in five attempts through nine games. It's clear new manager Dave Martinez has no qualms about giving Turner a green light on the basepaths, so while the shortstop's outlook in steals would improve if he were hitting first or second in the lineup, he seems well on his way to matching or topping last season's career-high 46 steals from right where he is.
