Seager has had no problems in his recovery from a broken right hand, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The shortstop explained Saturday that he has been undergoing weekly scans on his hand to ensure that healing is happening as hoped. There have been no setbacks so far, and Seager has progressed to throwing and squeezing a bat with his injured right hand. He has yet to swing a bat with both hands, though, and he remains multiple weeks away from a return.

Adames went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 7-5 win over Arizona.

The shortstop extended Milwaukee's lead to 5-2 in the sixth inning. Adames has settled in nicely since he was traded from Tampa Bay to Milwaukee. He's posted a .271/.364/.500 slash line in 14 games with his new team, adding three homers, 11 RBI and six runs scored.

Diaz was diagnosed with a left hand contusion after leaving Saturday's game against the Blue Jays, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Diaz was hit by a pitch in the top of the fourth inning and was immediately removed from the contest. He'll undergo X-rays after the game to help determine the extent of his injury.

Diaz left Saturday's game after getting hit by a pitch on his left hand, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

Chas McCormick entered the game to replace Diaz, who had gone 8-for-21 in his last five games. More news about Diaz' condition should become available after Saturday's game.

Berti isn't starting Saturday against Pittsburgh, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Berti had started each of the last two games and went 3-for-6 with a double, two runs and a walk. Jose Devers will take over at second base and lead off.

Mondesi (hamstring) remains out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Twins, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.

Despite his removal Monday being dubbed precautionary by manager Mike Matheny, Mondesi hasn't played since then. Having not placed the 25-year-old on the injured list, the Royals must expect him to return within a few days, but his exact status may remain unclear until he appears in a lineup once again. Nicky Lopez will fill in at shortstop Saturday.

Wendle isn't starting Saturday against the Rangers, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Wendle will get a breather after he went 2-for-16 with a run, an RBI and six strikeouts across his last four games. Mike Brosseau will start at third base and bat sixth.

Ahmed went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in Friday's 5-1 loss to Milwaukee.

Ahmed's eighth-inning single broke up Freddy Peralta's no-hit bid and was Arizona's lone hit. He extended a modest hit streak to five games (9-for-19, .474) and stole his third bag of the season.

Crawford went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional RBI in Friday's loss to the Angels.

Crawford collected two of the Mariners' six hits in the contest and knocked in both of the team's runs. He began the game with a 430-foot solo homer and notched another RBI with a sacrifice fly in the third. Crawford has collected at least one hit in six of his past seven games, hitting .321 with a pair of homers and four RBI over that span.

Diaz went 3-for-6 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Friday's 13-1 win over Toronto.

The utilityman got aboard with a single and scored the opening run on Yordan Alvarez's RBI double in the fourth inning. In the seventh, Diaz added a solo shot, his third homer of the year. The 30-year-old is slashing .281/.339/.439 with 18 RBI and 14 runs scored across 124 plate appearances. He's 8-for-21 (.381) during his personal five-game hitting streak -- if he remains hot at the plate, his defensive versatility should help him stick in the lineup.
