Wendle went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in a win over the Yankees on Sunday.

The hot-hitting infielder launched his second round tripper in as many days off Darren O'Day in the visitors' half of the ninth, giving the Rays a valuable insurance run. Wendle carries a six-game hitting streak and .340/.365/.600 slash across 52 plate appearances into the start of a three-game set against the Royals on Monday night.

Manager Mike Matheny said Monday that Mondesi (elbow) hasn't yet resumed swinging, Lynn Worthy of The Kansas City Star reports.

Mondesi recently started doing some activities, but Matheny said that the 25-year-old has only been doing limited controlled movement. Mondesi has been sidelined since the start of the regular season due to a right oblique strain, and the team hasn't yet established a timetable for his return. Nicky Lopez should continue to fill in as the primary shortstop while Mondesi is unavailable.

Bogaerts is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the White Sox, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.

With Boston's annual Patriots Day game starting at 11:10 a.m. local time, manager Alex Cora likely just wanted to give Bogaerts some maintenance due to the quick turnaround from Sunday's doubleheader. Bogaerts started in both ends of the twin bill, going a collective 1-for-6 on the day. Marwin Gonzalez will spell Bogaerts at shortstop in the series finale.

Adrianza went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Sunday's 13-4 win over the Cubs.

Making a start at second base for the injured Ozzie Albies (calf), Adrianza ensured the Atlanta offense didn't miss a beat. He slugged one of four home runs off Cubs ace Kyle Hendricks in the first inning, staking Atlanta to an early lead that it wouldn't relinquish. Adrianza took advantage of Albies' absence over the weekend to rack up four hits and three RBI across his three starts, and the utility man could continue to see steady work during the upcoming week even if Albies returns for Tuesday's game against the Yankees. Adrianza ended up shifting to right field later in Sunday's contest after Ronald Acuna (abdomen) exited the contest, and the 23-year-old phenom looks like he could be at risk of a trip to the injured list.

Diaz started at second base and went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Sunday's 7-2 loss to the Mariners.

Diaz's second-inning double, Houston's lone hit, plated Carlos Correa to briefly knot the game at one run apiece. The offense could continue to slumber this week with a minor-league contingent filling in for three players unavailable due to health and safety protocols -- Jose Altuve, Alex Bregman and Yordan Alvarez. Diaz has alternated between third and second base and should continue to be an everyday presence at least through the rest of the road trip that ends Wednesday in Colorado.

Chang went 2-for-3 with a run scored in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Reds.

Both of Chang's hits were singles, and he came around to score on a Jordan Luplow homer in the seventh inning. Jake Bauers pinch hit for Chang in the ninth inning -- the two infielders have split time at first base this season, though Chang is on the short side of the platoon. The 25-year-old has no homers, two RBI, five runs scored and no stolen bases while batting .231 in 28 at-bats.

Turner went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs and a strikeout in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Turner provided the Nationals with their only run support Sunday with his home runs in the third and eighth innings. The 27-year-old has started every game for Washington to begin the year and is slashing .308/.357/.596 with four home runs, seven RBI and three stolen bases.

Baez went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Sunday's 13-4 loss to Atlanta.

Baez homered as part of a 13-4 Cubs win Saturday and kept rolling in the 13-4 loss. The shortstop is still batting just .214 this season, so he has some work to do to get back to his usual level of production, but he's shown some signs of life lately.

Bichette went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Sunday's loss to the Royals.

Bichette was coming off three games without a hit, a stretch in which he went 0-for-11 with three strikeouts, but he was one of two Toronto players that reached base with a hit Sunday. He's hitting .266 with an .820 OPS through 69 plate appearances this season.

Crawford went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Sunday's 1-0 win over the Marlins.

Crawford singled in the second inning and stole second with two outs, but he was left aboard. The shortstop has a .188/.250/.417 slash line with two steals, three homers, nine RBI and six runs scored across 52 plate appearances. He's got decent power as a shortstop, but hitting low in the Giants' order minimizes his effectiveness in fantasy.
