Marcano was optioned to Triple-A El Paso on Monday, Dennis Lin of The Athletic reports.

Marcano's latest stint on the big-league roster, his third of the year, lasted eight days. He went just 2-for-15 at the plate. Brian O'Grady was recalled in a corresponding move.

DeJong (ribs) is 1-for-5 with a double and a run in two rehab games with Triple-A Memphis.

The 27-year-old has seemingly remained free of setbacks, but he's yet to play a full game in the field. DeJong may not need much longer to be deemed ready for activation, but the Cardinals may want to see him log a full nine on defense before freeing him from the injured list.

Crawford went 2-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 9-5 win over the Angels.

Crawford reached base safely three times capped off by two extra-base hits. He was a part of four of the Mariners nine runs. The 26-year-old is slashing just .263/.326/.376 with three home runs, 21 RBI and 26 runs in 227 plate appearances. He isn't much of a power threat, but his .263 average is his highest of his career.

Bogaerts went 2-for-3 with a walk and three RBI in Sunday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Yankees.

The Red Sox completed the sweep of the Yankees in New York when Bogaerts' two-run, two-out single in the top of the 10th held up in the bottom half of the inning. It was the fourth consecutive game in which he's hit safely, as he's 7-for-17 during that stretch after recently snapping an 0-for-24 skid. The Red Sox scored 11 of their 18 runs in the series with two outs.

Anderson went 2-for-4 with two RBI in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Tigers.

Anderson knocked a two-run single during a three-run second inning Sunday. He's on a short five-game hitting streak, and he's produced three multi-hit performances during that span. The star shortstop is slashing .297/.335/.432 with 22 RBI this season.

Baez exited Sunday's game against the Giants in the seventh inning due to right thumb soreness, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Baez grounded out to end the top of the seventh inning, and he appeared to be shaking his right hand as he went to the dugout. He was replaced by Sergio Alcantara at shortstop in the bottom half of the frame, and it's not yet clear whether his injury will force him to miss additional time.

Crawford is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.

Crawford was involved in a collision with teammate Evan Longoria in the field during Saturday's game that resulted in the latter sustaining a shoulder injury that will sideline him for 4-to-6 weeks, but manager Gabe Kapler indicated Sunday that Crawford was feeling fine, according to Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area. Given that context, the lefty-hitting Crawford's absence from the lineup Sunday against a right-handed pitcher (Kyle Hendricks) is suspect, but fantasy managers will have to take Kapler's word that the 34-year-old shortstop is healthy. Crawford contributed a double in Saturday's game to give him 21 extra-base hits over 188 plate appearances in what's shaping up to be a career year for the veteran.

The Royals placed Mondesi on the 10-day injured list Sunday with a left hamstring strain.

Mondesi initially tweaked the hamstring in Monday's game against the Pirates, but the Royals waited six days before officially deactivating him when he didn't recover from the injury as quickly as hoped. Now on the shelf for a second time this season after missing the first seven weeks while recovering from an oblique injury, Mondesi's health is becoming a growing concern. The Royals haven't indicated when Mondesi might be ready to return from his latest setback, but whenever he's back in action, the lower-body concerns could prompt him to take a more conservative approach on the basepaths to avoid an aggravation. Nicky Lopez will likely be Mondesi's primary replacement in the middle infield until he's reinstated from the IL.

Astros manager Dusty Baker said Sunday that Diaz will be sidelined for approximately 6-to-8 weeks due to a fractured left hand, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Diaz left Saturday's game against Toronto in the fourth inning after being hit by a pitch on the hand. Original reports indicated that he only suffered a contusion, but follow-up tests revealed structural damage to his hand. According to Brian McTaggart of MLB.com, Diaz will meet a hand specialist later this week, when a determination could be made regarding whether surgery will be necessary. Either way, the utility man looks destined to be sidelined through the All-Star break while he recovers from the injury. Houston is expected to officially move Diaz to the 10-day injured list ahead of Tuesday's series opener in Boston.
