Manager Don Mattingly said after Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Phillies that Rojas suffered a dislocated finger during the contest, Andre Fernandez of Sirius XM Radio reports.

Mattingly acknowledged that a trip to the injured list could be a possibility for Rojas, who went 1-for-3 with a walk before being lifted in the top of the ninth inning. The Marlins will likely send Rojas in for more tests Friday before deciding whether or not an IL stint will be necessary. Jose Devers replaced Rojas in Thursday's game, but Jazz Chisholm could end up shifting over from second base to cover shortstop on an everyday basis if Rojas is forced to miss time.

Baez went 1-for-5 in Wednesday's win over the Pirates. He also struck out twice.

Baez extended his hitting streak to five games and has hit safely in 12 of his last three 13 contests, but the strikeouts continue to be an issue for him -- he has struck out in 36.4 percent of his at-bats during that stretch. The slick-fielding shortstop is hitting .275 with a .817 OPS, three homers and seven RBI during that 13-game span.

Diaz went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Wednesday in a win over the Dodgers.

Diaz missed three games with a tight left hamstring, but he returned to the lineup in fine fashion Wednesday, belting a two-run homer in the seventh inning. The long ball was only his second this season. Diaz has been a solid contributor overall, batting .276 and collecting 15 RBI in 94 plate appearances.

Correa went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in a 5-2 victory over the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Correa took Trevor Bauer deep in the sixth inning, giving Houston a lead that it did not relinquish. The shortstop's long ball was his seventh this season and accounted for his 23rd RBI. Correa is slashing .269/.333/.440 over 201 plate appearances.

Edman went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs during Wednesday's 4-0 win over the White Sox.

The 26-year-old's solo shots during the third and eighth innings accounted for the only runs of the contest until Edmundo Sosa delivered a two-run single during the final frame. Edman is 11-for-34 (.324 average) with two home runs, three doubles, eight RBI, two stolen bases and five runs over his past seven games.

Berti went 1-for-3 with a two-run single, a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Wednesday's 4-2 win over Philadelphia.

With Brian Anderson (shoulder) out, Berti drew the start at third base for the second straight game and provided a go-ahead two-run single in the eighth inning before coming around to score an insurance run on a Jose Devers single. Through 120 plate appearances, Berti has two home runs, four stolen bases, 10 RBI and 16 runs scored. He won't provide much pop, but the 31-year-old could warrant some fantasy attention for his speed if he hangs onto an everyday role while Anderson is out.

Diaz (hamstring) will start in left field and bat second Wednesday against the Dodgers, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Diaz hadn't played in any of the Astros' last three games while dealing with a tight left hamstring, but he's apparently healthy enough to step into the lineup for Michael Brantley, who is nursing a leg injury. The Astros are off Thursday, and manager Dusty Baker has said that Brantley is unlikely to require a trip to the injured list, so Diaz doesn't look like he'll be in store for an extended run in a starting role.

Smith (hand) made his season debut for Low-A Tampa on Tuesday, going 1-for-2 with a walk and stolen base. He also reached base when he was hit by a pitch.

Smith missed the first three weeks of the season due to the hand injury, but he looks like he'll be ready to play for Tampa on an everyday basis moving forward. The 2019 second-round pick is playing full-season ball for the first time in his career after he initially reported to the Yankees' New York-Penn League affiliate shortly after being drafted.

Rojas isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Phillies, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Rojas had gone 1-for-12 with a double, three runs, three walks and two strikeouts in his last four games. Jose Devers will start at shortstop and bat eighth.

DeJong (ribs) was working on his fielding ahead of Wednesday's game against the White Sox, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

DeJong did some light running Monday, and he now appears to have resumed some baseball activities. DeJong could resume some hitting later in the week, but a timetable for his return to game action hasn't yet been established. The shortstop has been out with a non-displaced rib fracture since mid-May.
