Bichette went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Sunday's loss to the Royals.

Bichette was coming off three games without a hit, a stretch in which he went 0-for-11 with three strikeouts, but he was one of two Toronto players that reached base with a hit Sunday. He's hitting .266 with an .820 OPS through 69 plate appearances this season.

Crawford went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Sunday's 1-0 win over the Marlins.

Crawford singled in the second inning and stole second with two outs, but he was left aboard. The shortstop has a .188/.250/.417 slash line with two steals, three homers, nine RBI and six runs scored across 52 plate appearances. He's got decent power as a shortstop, but hitting low in the Giants' order minimizes his effectiveness in fantasy.

Rojas went 1-for-4 in Sunday's loss against the Giants.

Rojas was one of three Miami players that recorded a hit Sunday, though the Marlins didn't muster a single run and went 3-for-29 as a team. Rojas managed to extend his hitting streak to three games and has reached base safely in each of his last six contests.

Owings (thumb) will require a surgical procedure, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Manager Bud Black said Sunday that Owings is slated for surgery after he was transferred to the 60-day injured list. The utility man will be out until at least June and will need at least eight weeks to recover, Nick Groke of The Athletic reports. Prior to the injury, Owings went 8-for-15 with six extra-base hits, three RBI and two stolen bases in seven games.

The Rockies transferred Owings (thumb) to the 60-day injured list Sunday.

Owings was diagnosed with a sprained left thumb at the time he was placed on the 10-day IL on April 10, but the injury was apparently more severe than the club initially anticipated. He'll now be shut down until June as a result of the issue, making it tough to justify holding onto the 29-year-old utility man outside of NL-only leagues. Owings was off to a hot start prior to suffering the injury, as he produced six extra-base hits (three triples, three doubles) to go with two stolen bases in his first 17 plate appearances.

White Sox manager Tony La Russa said Anderson will be on the bench for the second game of Sunday's doubleheader with the Red Sox, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Since Anderson recently returned from a hamstring injury, the White Sox don't want to overtax the shortstop by having him play all 14 innings of the twin bill. Anderson will be getting a deserved breather after he was the driving force of the Chicago offense in the 3-2 victory in Game 1. He recorded three of the White Sox's seven hits, including a leadoff home run in the first inning.

Berti is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Though Berti broke camp with Miami as a utility player, he had some hope of earning semi-regular starts due to his ability to play the outfield and multiple infield spots. However, with the regular outfield trio of Corey Dickerson, Starling Marte and Adam Duvall thriving and with rookie middle infielder Jazz Chisholm getting off to a hot start to the season, playing time hasn't opened up for Berti. He'll remain on the bench for a third straight game Sunday.

Adames is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Adames will sit out for the second time in four games while he remains in a prolonged slump at the plate. Over the Rays' last seven contests, Adames has gone 2-for-24 with 11 strikeouts, dropping his season average to .180. Adames could end up ceding more work at shortstop to Joey Wendle -- and eventually, top prospect Wander Franco -- if he struggles to get going at the plate in his future starts.

Bogaerts went 4-for-5 with a double and two RBI in Saturday's win over the Red Sox.

Bogaerts extended his hitting streak to six games and has hit safely in nine of his last 10 contests, a span in which he's recorded three or more hits four times already. The 28-year-old shortstop hasn't been much of a run producer and only has four RBI in 2021, but he's seeing the ball well and is hitting an impressive .412 with a .974 OPS over his first 56 plate appearances.

Baez went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Saturday's win over Atlanta.

Baez might have struck out three times, but he made his presence felt with his lone hit -- a three-run shot in the third off Huascar Ynoa that scored both Kris Bryant and Joc Pederson. The star shortstop ended a three-game hitless streak with his fourth homer of the campaign, but he has struck out at least once in 10 straight games and continues to show an aggressive approach -- one that has resulted in a whopping 20 strikeouts over his last 37 plate appearances.
