The Nats' leadoff hitter has stumbled out of the gate, as he went 0-for-2 in Thursday's opener as well. It's not surprising that some players are a little further behind the curve than others given the nature of this season, but Turner should find a groove eventually. Whether that's quickly enough to satisfy those with fantasy shares in him during an abbreviated 60-game schedule is another question.

Fletcher went 1-for-3 with a double, two RBI and a walk during Saturday's 4-1 win over the Athletics.

Crawford went 3-for-4 with a pair of triples and scored a run in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Astros.

Crawford showed off his speed with the pair of triples, and he was able to score in the fifth inning after a Mallex Smith groundout. The 25-year-old Crawford had four triples and five stolen bases in 93 games last season. It appears Crawford will be the primary shortstop for the Mariners this season, but Dee Gordon could earn some time there as well.

It's not exactly clear when he's expected to return, but it sounds as though he could miss a few weeks, which would represent a significant portion of the shortened season. With Yordan Alvarez (undisclosed) still weeks away from game action, the Astros will have to figure out what to do at designated hitter against lefties, which could involve some combination of Kyle Tucker, Abraham Toro or Taylor Jones.

DeJong went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored during Saturday's 9-1 win over the Pirates.

The 26-year-old clubbed a clutch two-run homer during the eighth inning of Friday's opener, and he brought home two more runs during Saturday's contest. DeJong is 3-for-7 with three runs, four RBI and a walk over the first two games, and he'll look to cap off the series in style Sunday versus Pirates starter Mitch Keller.

Baez went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Saturday's loss to the Brewers.

Baez went 0-for-4 in Friday's season opener but bounced back quickly. He remains one of the most potent offensive players in the league and should produce good counting stats in the heart of a strong Chicago lineup.

Crawford isn't in the lineup Saturday against the Dodgers, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Crawford went 1-for-5 over the first two games of the season and will get a day off Saturday. Mauricio Dubon will shift to shortstop with Darin Ruf entering the starting lineup at first base, batting fourth.

Seager went 3-for-4 with a double, a run and a walk in Friday's victory over San Francisco.

Seager tied for fourth in the majors with 44 doubles last season, and he has picked up where he left off by registering a two-bagger in each of his first two games in 2020. The 26-year-old has a favorable spot in the middle of the Dodgers' loaded lineup and based on pure talent alone could stake his claim as one of the league's most productive shortstops now that he is back to full health.
