Turner went 2-for-5 with a double, a run scored and an RBI in Friday's win over the Marlins.

The double was Turner's fourth in his last five games, but otherwise he's been sluggish since coming off the injured list last week, slashing .243/.282/.351 with two steals, two RBI and four runs. The shortstop also committed two errors Friday, suggesting rustiness is an issue with his glove as well as his bat. Turner should snap out of it sooner or later, but his abbreviated rehab assignment -- he played only two games at High-A after missing six weeks with a broken finger -- is having an impact.

Crawford went 2-for-3 with a double and two walks in a loss to the Athletics on Friday.

Crawford continues to acquit himself well at the big-league level, as he's now hit safely in seven of the last eight contests. The 24-year-old is hitting a solid .271 with five extra-base hits (four doubles, one home run), three RBI, four walks and six runs, and he's set to keep a hold of the everyday shortstop job for the foreseeable future.

Anderson was scratched from Saturday's lineup against the Twins with right wrist soreness, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

A pitch hit his wrist on a swing in Friday's game. The fact that he was originally in the lineup suggests that the injury may not be that serious, but it will nonetheless force him to the bench for at least one game. Anderson was hitting .361/.395/.389 over his last 10 games. Jose Rondon will start at shortstop in his place.

Anderson was a late scratch from Saturday's lineup against the Twins, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

It is unclear why Anderson was removed from the lineup. Jose Rondon will get the start at shortstop in his stead.

Swanson went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Friday's 5-2 win over the Cardinals.

The shortstop connected for a solo shot off Miles Mikolas in the sixth inning, then launched a two-run blast off Giovanny Gallegos in the eighth. Swanson now has 10 homers on the year -- four of which have come in the last eight games -- and his .262/.319/.492 slash line is a definite step up for the 25-year-old.

Arcia went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-4 loss to the Phillies.

The shortstop went yard for the first time since April 23, but Arcia's been enjoying a solid May despite the lack of power, hitting .280 (21-for-75). He's now slashing .254/.317/.382 on the year with five homers, two steals, 18 runs and 18 RBI through 51 games.

Anderson went 3-for-3 with a double and a run scored in Friday's 11-4 loss to the Twins.

Every time it seems like the shortstop might be slowing down at the plate, he quickly heats up again. Anderson's gone 12-for-28 (.429) over the last eight games since getting a breather May 16, boosting his slash line on the season back up to .337/.369/.506 with eight homers, 13 steals, 25 RBI and 28 runs in 46 contests, and the only thing holding back his fantasy value even slightly is manager Rick Renteria's insistence on hitting Anderson towards the bottom of the order against right-handed pitching.

Story went 2-for-4 with a pair of two-run home runs in Friday's 8-6 win over the Orioles.

Story's seventh-inning blast was the 100th homer of his career, a feat the shortstop accomplished in 449 games. He didn't stay on the milestone for long, going yard again in the ninth inning for a walkoff. Story has 13 homers, 35 RBI and 41 runs scored in 50 games this season.

Bogaerts went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Astros.

The shortstop is putting together an impressive month of May, slashing .305/.380/.549 through 19 games with five homers and 17 RBI. Bogaerts is demonstrating that last year's breakout was no fluke, but the 26-year-old may not have found his ceiling yet.

Crawford (eye) isn't in Friday's starting lineup against the Diamondbacks, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Crawford is set to miss his second straight contest while battling pink eye. Donovan Solano gets the call at shortstop and will hit second with Crawford out of the mix.
