Manager Dave Roberts said that he expects Seager (back) to be get back into the Cactus League lineup Saturday, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports.

The Dodgers skipper originally had said that the young shortstop could return by Friday, but then backed off that return date. Regardless of the exact game that he returns, the Dodgers are simply taking things slowly with their franchise player as they gear up for the regular season. Seager should be back to full health with plenty of time before Opening Day, barring any unexpected setbacks in his recovery from the upper-back stiffness.

Camargo committed his fifth error of the spring in Tuesday's Grapefruit League game against the Pirates, AJC.com reports. "Up here (in the major leagues) it's adjusting to the speed of the game," Braves manager Brian Snitker said prior to Tuesday's game, "which is one of the reasons last year we were big on wanting to get Dansby (Swanson) up here, because they've got to see that speed of the game at this level. That's good for them. They do that and they learn from it, hopefully, because it is different."

Camargo would seem to have a lot more learning to do. The 23-year-old was added to the 40-man roster in the offseason and a big spring might have earned him consideration for a spot on the Atlanta bench -- his likely eventual role in the majors -- but instead he'll head back to the minors to begin 2017 and try to polish up his glove work.

Swanson (back) is officially out of the lineup for Wednesday's Grapefruit League game, AJC.com reports.

The shortstop's back tightened up on him Saturday against the Marlins, and the Braves don't want to take any chances with their young star. "Yeah, (Saturday) was my first time playing that many innings, so just kind of getting used to being out there for that long," said Swanson. "Just a little bit of tightness, no need to push it past something and make it serious. Just kind of a day-by-day thing." At this point, there's no reason to bump Swanson down on any fantasy cheat sheets, but if the back issue lingers into next week, it'll be cause for at least some concern.

Swanson has been dealing with a sore back since Saturday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports

Swanson says he just needs a couple days of rest. The highly-touted shortstop has been tearing up the Grapefruit League this spring, batting .438 with one home run and four RBI. Consider him day-to-day for now.

Adames went 1-for-2 with a sacrifice fly and solo home run in Tuesday's 7-6 extra-inning Grapefruit League loss to the Yankees.

The 21-year-old connected for his first round-tripper of spring in the fifth inning, his third hit overall in six games thus far. Adames also continued impressing in the field and has encouragingly held his own against major league pitching thus far. Although he appears ticketed to kick off 2017 at Triple-A Durham, this spring is clearly another pivotal step for the Rays' No. 1 prospect's development, and he's therefore likely to see plenty of opportunity for the balance of the exhibition slate.

Rojas left Tuesday's game after being hit in the face by a throw while attempting to steal, Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald reports.

Although the specifics of the injury are still unknown, the Marlins should have an update on Rojas shortly after the game. Until then, consider the infielder day-to-day. He is set to serve as a bench player for Miami in 2017, but could find himself in an increased role if injuries hit the team's infield.

He's now missed three consecutive days with the upper-back stiffness, but the Dodgers are chalking it up to an "abundance of caution." Seager will get plenty of rest and should be ready to go by Friday, if not earlier.

Swanson went 1-for-3 with a walk, two RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's split-squad game against the Marlins.

He's a robust 7-for-16 (.438) to begin the spring, with one home run and one stolen base. Swanson is showing every sign of being ready to build on his impressive big league debut in 2016, when he slashed .302/.361/.442 in 38 games.
