Oviedo (elbow) will be reevaluated by Dr. Keith Meister in two weeks to determine his progress, Marcos Grunfeld of ElEmergente.com reports.

Oviedo has been shut down over the past month after being diagnosed with a right flexor strain in early April. The Red Sox will determine the next steps for Oviedo's rehab based on what comes out of the upcoming exam with Dr. Meister.

Taveras isn't in the lineup for Thursday's game against Miami, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Taveras has hit safely in each of his last four games, but the O's will keep him on the bench during Thursday's series finale while Dylan Beavers, Colton Cowser and Tyler O'Neill start across the outfield.

Rutschman isn't in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Marlins, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Rutschman will get a breather after going 3-for-4 with a walk, three RBI and a run scored during the first two games of the series. Samuel Basallo will fill in behind the plate while Taylor Ward works as the DH and Tyler O'Neill starts in the outfield.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Thursday that Dominguez will miss "a few weeks" after an MRI revealed a low-grade AC joint sprain in his left shoulder, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Dominguez was injured in Thursday's game against the Rangers after crashing into the outfield wall following a catch. He did pass initial concussion testing, though he will remain in protocol for a few more days. All things considered, a low-grade AC joint sprain qualifies as relatively good news for Dominguez. He will officially be placed on the IL prior to Friday's game against the Brewers.

Gray was removed from Thursday's game versus the Yankees after being struck in the forearm by a comebacker, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Gray's exit appeared precautionary, but the Rangers should have more on his status after the game. The reliever was charged with one run on two hits and a walk over one inning of work before departing.

Hernaiz isn't in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Phillies.

Hernaiz will grab a seat on the bench for a second consecutive game after going just 1-for-13 at the plate to begin the month of May. Zack Gelof will start at third base and bat eighth.

Triple-A Norfolk placed Bradfield on its 7-day injured list April 25 due to left hand discomfort, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Bradfield sustained the injury during his most recent appearance for Norfolk on April 21, when he collided with the outfield wall while tracking a flyball. Prior to getting hurt, Bradfield was hitting .224/.321/.388 with two home runs and two stolen bases over 13 games on the season.

Donovan (groin) is traveling to Chicago to meet the Mariners and will be activated from the 10-day injured list prior to Friday's game against the White Sox, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.

Sidelined for nearly three weeks with a left groin strain, Donovan played one rehab game with Double-A Arkansas, going 1-for-3 with two walks. He was slashing .304/.437/.518 before getting hurt and will return to being the Mariners' everyday third baseman and leadoff man against right-handed pitching, shifting Leo Rivas back to a reserve role.

Hawke (shoulder) has gone 3-for-10 with a double, two walks and two stolen bases in three games with High-A Lake County since being reinstated from the 7-day injured list April 30.

Hawke missed just under a month to begin the season while completing his recovering from the right shoulder injury he suffered last July. With 65 steals in 67 games between Single-A and High-A last season, the 23-year-old outfielder was one of the minor league's more prolific base stealers when healthy.

Hancock could be shifted to a relief role next week when Bryce Miller (oblique) returns, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.

Hancock has put together a breakout season in the early going, posting a 2.59 ERA and 46:6 K:BB over 41.2 innings in his first seven starts. He struck out a career-high 14 batters against the Royals in his last trip to the hill. However, while Hancock has been the Mariners' best starter so far this season, he also has bullpen experience. Hancock is slated to start Friday's game versus the White Sox, and the Mariners will make decisions on the roles for Hancock, Miller and Luis Castillo in the coming days.
