Duran isn't in the lineup for the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Yankees, Tommy Cassell of the Worcester Telegram & Gazette reports.

Duran will begin Saturday's festivities on the bench after going 0-for-2 with a strikeout during Friday's series opener. Eli White will fill in as Boston's left fielder and bat ninth.

Clark went 1-for-2 with a walk, a triple and an RBI in Friday's 2-1 loss to the Dodgers.

Clark drove in Detroit's lone run and actually gave the Tigers a short-lived lead with his third triple of the year in the bottom of the fifth inning. The 21-year-old rookie has been showing off his speed in the early going with the three triples and a stolen base, and he's also gone deep twice in 25 games. Clark certainly seems to be Detroit's center fielder of the future, and he should be primed to post big numbers in his first full campaign next season.

Kremer (2-5) took the loss Friday against the White Sox after allowing six runs (five earned) on seven hits and three walks while striking out three over four-plus innings.

Kremer fell into immediate trouble, allowing four runs in the first inning, including a three-run homer to Colson Montgomery. While the Twins' offense fought back and evened things up by the end of the second frame, Kremer surrendered the lead again in the third and allowed another run in the fourth before ultimately exiting after facing one batter in the fifth. Kremer has been inconsistent, allowing at least four earned runs in two of his last three outings and in four of his last seven. He owns a 6.42 ERA in 40.2 innings and eight appearances since the All-Star break.

Hudson allowed two hits and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save in Friday's 7-4 win over Minnesota.

Hudson entered the ninth inning with a three-run lead, and while he gave up two hits to the first three batters he faced, he ultimately closed the door to earn his sixth save of the season. The southpaw has gone 3-for-4 in save chances while recording four holds with a 14:1 K:BB in 15 innings and 16 outings since the All-Star break. Grant Taylor earned the win Friday after pitching 2.2 scoreless innings in relief, setting up the save for Hudson. Taylor's usage shows that he will not be confined exclusively to the ninth inning, so there may be additional save opportunities for Hudson down the stretch.

Taylor (7-2) earned the win Friday against the Twins after pitching 2.2 scoreless innings in relief, allowing one hit and striking out three without a walk.

Taylor took over with two outs in the sixth inning and protected Chicago's 6-4 advantage through the end of the eighth, allowing just one baserunner during his 2.2 innings of work while tossing 20 of his 27 pitches for strikes. The right-hander lowered his ERA to 2.03 with this outing, and he extended an outstanding stretch that has seen him give up just one earned run across 22.2 innings, good for a pristine 0.40 ERA, in 16 outings since the All-Star break. He's also gone 4-for-7 in save opportunities in that span, but his usage earlier in the game afforded Bryan Hudson the save chance Friday.

Castillo allowed four runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out a batter over four innings Friday against the Twins. He didn't factor into the decision.

Castillo gave up multiple homers for a third consecutive start, and he's also failed to complete five innings in any of those outings. He's made five starts since joining the White Sox at the trade deadline, and the numbers have been less than impressive -- he owns a 6.45 ERA, 1.66 WHIP and 2.8 HR/9 across 22.1 innings over that stretch. He's tentatively scheduled to make his next start on the road against the Astros.

Montgomery went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and two strikeouts in Friday's 7-4 win over the Twins.

Montgomery made his presence felt early in the game with a 374-foot three-run blast that gave the White Sox a 4-0 lead in the first inning. He had a slump in early August, hitting .154 with a .474 OPS between Aug. 1 and Aug. 15, but he's turned things around of late. Over his last 10 games, Montgomery is hitting .263 with a .764 OPS. The second-year shortstop has 28 homers and 76 RBI with a .723 OPS across 532 plate appearances this season.

Bradford (0-3) took the loss Friday against the Brewers after allowing three runs on nine hits over 5.2 innings, walking two without a strikeout.

Bradford hasn't exactly been a strikeout machine -- he's yet to record more than five punchouts in any of his five outings this season -- but this is his first goose egg in the category. With a 13:6 K:BB and 1.52 WHIP in 26.1 innings across his five starts, it's hard to trust Bradford in most fantasy formats, as he's giving up a lot of traffic on the basepaths and isn't recording enough strikeouts to compensate for that. His next start is projected come at home against the Athletics.

Walcott went 2-for-5 with a double, a solo home run, a stolen base and an additional run scored for Double-A Frisco on Friday.

Walcott's had an up-and-down return from a concussion earlier this month but is on the up again. He's hit safely in five consecutive games, going 8-for-19 with four steals and 11 runs scored during the streak. Although he lost significant development time in 2026 after undergoing an internal brace procedure, Walcott remains an elite prospect. He has a .902 OPS with 12 doubles, four home runs 11 RBI, seven steals and 30 runs scored over 26 contests.

DeLauter served as the designated hitter and went 1-for-4 in Friday's 3-0 loss to the Royals.

DeLauter was back in the starting lineup after a hamstring injury forced him to open the previous three games on the bench. The hamstring has popped up twice this month, so DeLauter could stick in a DH role for a bit before returning to the field.
