Eaton started in right field and went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Eaton doubled and scored Boston's lone run in the third inning. He made a second consecutive start in right field, as manager Alex Cora copes with the loss of Roman Anthony (oblique). Of note, Wilyer Abreu (calf) ran twice over the weekend and came out feeling good. He could be activated later this week, at which point he would become the primary starter in right field.

Fairbanks (4-5) allowed one earned run on two hits and one walk while striking out one across one inning to take the loss Saturday against the Guardians.

Fairbanks entered the game in the ninth inning with the score tied 2-2. He allowed the first two batters he faced to reach base, which was enough for the Guardians to push across one run. While Fairbanks wasn't hit particularly hard, he has a 4.15 ERA since the All-Star break, allowing at least one earned run in six of his last 17 appearances.

Abreu (calf) reported no issues after taking part in running sessions Friday and Saturday, MLB.com reports.

Boston manager Alex Cora said Saturday the outfielder came out of the two sessions feeling "OK," but he stopped short of offering a timeline for the outfielder's return. Abreu has been on the shelf since Aug. 21 due to a right calf strain.

Jensen went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Saturday's victory over the Twins.

The recently promoted prospect notched his first big-league hit with an RBI double in the fourth inning off Thomas Hatch, later adding another run driven in with a groundout in the sixth inning. Jensen is 1-for-7 with a double, a walk and two RBI through his first three games in the majors. Some adjustment at the next level is to be expected, but the Royals are incredibly high on the catcher because of his power potential and advanced plate discipline at age 22.

Pasquantino went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, two RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 11-2 win over the Twins.

Pasquantino stayed hot at the plate in the blowout win, notching his third straight multi-hit performance. The first baseman has been particularly strong in the power department lately, slashing .277/.333/.660 with a .993 OPS, six doubles, 10 homers and 29 RBI across his past 25 contests.

Farris is scheduled to start Sunday's game against the Athletics in Anaheim.

Unsurprisingly, Farris has earned another turn through the Angels rotation after picking up a win in his MLB debut Tuesday. Despite having never pitched above the Double-A level, Farris was composed in his road start against the Royals, limiting them to one earned run on three hits and two walks while recording three punchouts. The 24-year-old lefty should have a good chance at sticking around in the big-league rotation through the end of the season.

May is slated to start Tuesday's game against the Athletics in Sacramento.

Just as manager Alex Cora suggested would be the case, May is set to return to a starting role this week after the right-hander was deployed on three days' rest as a reliever in his most recent outing this past Wednesday against the Guardians. While working behind opener Brennan Bernardino, May limited Cleveland to one earned run on three hits and two walks. Since being acquired from the Dodgers on July 31, May owns a 5.40 ERA, 1.69 WHIP and 26:13 K:BB over 28.1 innings through his first six outings with the Red Sox.

Cantillo is slated to start Tuesday's game against the Royals at Progressive Field.

In the midst of a stretch of 17 games in 17 days that began Aug. 29, the Guardians have moved to a six-man rotation that now features Cantillo, who was recalled from Triple-A Columbus this past Wednesday. Taking the hill for the big club for the first time since Aug. 15, Cantillo shined against the Red Sox, earning a win while striking out seven and allowing one earned run on five hits and two walks. Over 30 appearances (nine starts) on the season for Cleveland, the lefty owns a 4-3 record, 3.73 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 87:38 K:BB in 72.1 innings.

Rodriguez went 3-for-5 with two home runs, four RBI, a hit-by-pitch and an additional run scored in Saturday's 10-2 win over Atlanta.

Rodriguez powered Seattle's offense with his 29th and 30th long balls of the year, marking his third multi-homer game of the season and his fifth home run in the last seven contests. During that stretch, the 24-year-old has gone 9-for-29 (.310) with 12 RBI and six runs scored. On the season, Rodriguez is up to a .265/.317/.475 slash line with 86 RBI, 93 runs, 24 doubles and 24 stolen bases across 628 plate appearances.

Miller didn't factor into the decision against Atlanta on Saturday, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out three over 5.1 innings.

Miller kept things in check early, retiring nine of the first 10 batters he faced, before surrendering a solo homer to Matt Olson to lead off the fourth inning, extending his streak to eight straight starts with a long ball allowed. The right-hander was lifted in the sixth after issuing a walk to Ronald Acuna that loaded the bases, and the bullpen let one of those runners come home. Miller finished just two outs shy of recording back-to-back quality starts for the first time this season. The 27-year-old will carry a 5.53 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 53:29 K:BB across 70 innings into his next scheduled start against the Angels.
