Thomas (foot) served as the designated hitter and went 0-for-3 for Double-A Akron on Tuesday.

Thomas kicked off a rehab assignment with the RubberDucks on Tuesday and will continue Wednesday, when he's expected to play five innings in the outfield. He's been sidelined by plantar fasciitis since the beginning of July. The Guardians' top affiliates -- Akron and Triple-A Columbus -- both have plenty of games left in the regular season, so Thomas will have plenty of opportunity to build up plate appearances after the long layoff.

Means (elbow) will throw a bullpen session Wednesday followed by a rehab start for Triple-A Columbus on Friday, MLB.com reports.

Friday's outing will be the fifth rehab start for Means, who logged four innings and 58 pitches in his previous outing Sunday. His pitch count will bump up to 75 on Friday, after which the left-hander could rejoin Cleveland's staff. Presumably, Means would join the rotation, but the Guardians are moving to a six-man rotation this week that currently doesn't include Means, per Molly Burkhardt of MLB.com. Joey Cantillo will start Wednesday's series finale against Boston at Fenway Park, joining the existing five-man rotation. Of the six current starters, Slade Cecconi and Gavin Williams have already passed their career highs in innings pitched, while Logan Allen and Tanner Bibee are nearing theirs. That suggests Means could be a replacement for one of the starters at or past their previous career high in innings.

Arias (hand) is expected to return to the lineup Wednesday's series finale versus the Red Sox, MLB.com reports.

The Guardians had expected Arias to play in Tuesday's 11-7 loss, but the infielder missed a fourth consecutive game. Brayan Rocchio started at shortstop in each of the last four contests while Arias was out.

Sosa went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and a walk Tuesday against the Twins.

Sosa homered in the seventh inning, going back-to-back with Kyle Teel. Nine of Sosa's 19 home runs have come since Aug. 1, and he's also delivered 21 RBI and 14 runs scored across 29 games in that span. While his overall counting stats are unimpressive, Sosa has quietly posted a .171 ISO and .732 OPS across 468 plate appearances on the season.

Robertson went 1-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 12-3 win over the Twins.

Robertson was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte on Aug. 27 after Luis Robert (hamstring) was placed on the injured list. He's gone just 2-for-15 since being recalled and is hitting .097 across 31 at-bats on the season.

Ramos went 1-for-5 with a double and two RBI on Tuesday against the Twins.

Ramos was recalled when rosters expanded Monday and was in the big-league lineup for the first time in 2025 on Tuesday. He struck out three times but also delivered a two-RBI double in the fifth inning. Ramos figures to be primarily a bench bat, but he could get mixed in against right-handed starters while Miguel Vargas (wrist) is sidelined.

Osuna started in right field and went 2-for-2 with an RBI in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Osuna filled in for injured right fielder Adolis Garcia (quadriceps). Texas manager Bruce Bochy said Garcia will be down for a few days, per MLB.com. The lefty hitting Osuna started against a righty and could get another start Wednesday against right-hander Zac Gallen.

Walls (groin) will see a specialist Wednesday, MLB.com reports.

Walls has been sidelined since Aug. 12 and had recently begun running and strength exercises. However, he felt discomfort and will now seek additional medical evaluation. The results should provide clarity on whether Walls can return this season, though he doesn't appear to be close to activation.

Aranda (wrist) has resumed swinging a bat, but his wrist is still not fully healed, MLB.com reports.

Aranda has been out for a month due to a fractured wrist, and the symptoms have recently improved. He's set to see a doctor Sept. 10, which should clarify whether he has a chance to return this season. If Aranda does get back in the lineup, it will likely only be for the final few games.

Winn (hand) retired all three batters faced while pitching for Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.

Winn looked sharp in what was his first game action since landing on the 15-day injured list Aug. 20 with nerve irritation in his thumb -- an issue that was eventually classified as "arm fatigue." The right-hander needed 17 pitches (11 strikes) to set down the three opposing batters. Winn could rejoin the bullpen as early as this weekend when the Rangers open a three-game series against the Astros on Friday.
