DeLauter (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

A tight left hamstring will keep DeLauter out of the starting nine for a third straight game, but the rookie outfielder appears likely to avoid a stint on the injured list. The Guardians felt comfortable enough using DeLauter off the bench in Tuesday's 8-6 extra-inning win, with the 24-year-old striking out as a pinch hitter during his lone at-bat in the top of the ninth.

Bailey is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Bailey will receive a breather for the matinee after he went 0-for-1 with four walks and a run scored while catching all 10 innings of an 8-6 win Tuesday night. Austin Hedges will spell Bailey behind the dish in the series finale.

Moore went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Tuesday in an extra-inning loss to Cleveland.

Moore gave the Angels a 3-0 lead with his third-inning solo shot, but the Guardians eventually came back and pulled out the victory. The long ball was Moore's first in the big leagues in 2026 and just his second extra-base hit through 39 plate appearances. He's slashed a meager .167/.205/.278 with an ugly 41.0 percent strikeout rate during that span, but he posted a .943 OPS with 11 homers, 60 RBI and 14 stolen bases across 86 contests with Triple-A Salt Lake, so there seems to be potential for more potent production that Moore hasn't tapped into yet.

Means (Achilles) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Quad Cities on Wednesday.

It will be the first game appearance for Means since he had surgery over the winter to repair a ruptured left Achilles. The left-hander was also limited to only seven rehab starts in 2025 following a second Tommy John surgery. Means -- who is in the first year of a two-year minor-league contract -- could conceivably get a look from the Royals at the end of this season, but the primary goal is to have him ready to go in 2027.

Fraley (hernia) went 1-for-3 while playing six innings in right field Tuesday in his first rehab game for Triple-A Durham.

After undergoing hernia surgery in May and landing on the injured list, Fraley received the green light to begin a rehab assignment in late June. The 31-year-old made just five appearances in the minors before being pulled off the assignment in mid-July when he experienced a setback, but after a prolonged shutdown, he's made enough progress to resume playing in games. Due to the extended time he's missed, Fraley will likely need multiple games at Triple-A to regain his timing at the plate and improve his conditioning. He could be a candidate to return from the 60-day injured list after the active roster expands to 28 players next Tuesday.

Melton (hamstring) went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a stolen base Tuesday in his return to the Triple-A Durham lineup after being reinstated from the 7-day injured list.

Melton missed approximately three and a half weeks due to a right hamstring strain but looked plenty healthy in his return to the Triple-A lineup while extending his hitting streak to seven games in the process. Over 168 plate appearances at Durham this season, Melton is slashing .307/.410/.562 with seven home runs and 26 steals. He's part of the Rays' 40-man roster and could get a chance to make his Tampa Bay debut in September, when the active roster expands to 28.

Baez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays.

Baez had started in each of the last three games -- twice in left field, once at shortstop -- but he'll head to the bench as the Tigers close out their series with the Rays. The Tigers should continue to make regular room in the lineup for Baez against left-handed pitching, but he'll likely have to settle for more of a part-time role versus righties while he's largely struggled to produce since being activated from the injured list July 28. In 19 games against all pitchers following his reinstatement, Baez is slashing .268/.297/.352 with no home runs or stolen bases, eight RBI and 12 runs.

Gasper went 2-for-2 with two walks and two solo home runs in Tuesday's 7-3 extra-innings win over the Marlins.

The switch-hitting catcher continues to swing a hot bat, taking Tyler Phillips deep in the second inning to get the Red Sox on the board before swatting another solo shot off Tyler Zuber in the sixth. Gasper has gone yard a stunning five times in eight games since rejoining the big-league roster Aug. 17, batting .476 (10-for-21) over that span with three doubles, six runs and 12 RBI as the primary DH against right-handed pitching.

Tolle didn't factor into the decision in Tuesday's 7-3 extra-innings win over the Marlins, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out seven.

The 23-year-old southpaw fired 62 of 97 pitches for strikes while extending his streak of starts without being stuck with a loss to nine. Over that stretch, Tolle has produced a 4-0 record with a 2.65 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 67:12 K:BB through 51 innings as he continues to emerge as a top-line starter for Boston. Tolle will look to keep rolling in his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home early next week against the Mariners.

Rodriguez will be recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to start Wednesday's game against the Astros, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.

Rodriguez will be making his fifth big-league start after logging a 4.76 ERA and 10:11 K:BB over 17 innings in his first four turns. The rookie right-hander has been much better at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre with a 2.59 ERA and 99:46 K:BB over 97.1 frames. Rodriguez could be given at least one additional start for the Yankees beyond Wednesday.
