Jackson went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run scored Monday in a 4-3 win over the Padres.

The versatile rookie's fifth-inning long ball broke a 2-2 tie, and he scored the game-winning run in the seventh on a Dylan Beavers single. Jackson continues to rake -- he's riding a 12-game hitting streak during which he's slashing .340/.364/.585 with three homers, 11 RBI and eight runs. His hot bat has made him an everyday presence in Baltimore's lineup, and he's been splitting his time between third base and right field.

Akin earned a save against San Diego on Monday, allowing one hit and striking out one batter over a scoreless ninth inning.

Akin entered the ninth with a one-run lead and worked around a one-out single to secure the save. It was the southpaw's fourth save of the season, all of which have come since Aug. 2. Akin seems to be the primary closer for Baltimore, though he's also blown three saves over the past month and Corbin Martin and Dietrich Enns each recorded a save apiece for the Orioles in that span, so it may not be an entirely settled situation. Nonetheless, Akin has pitched well enough (3.21 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 12:7 K:BB over 14 innings spanning his past 13 outings) to be worth a pickup by fantasy managers digging for saves.

Bradish completed four innings in a no-decision against San Diego on Monday, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out five batters.

Bradish wasn't nearly as effective as in his season debut last Tuesday, when he struck out 10 over six innings. On Monday, the right-hander needed 84 pitches to get through just four innings, though he did finish strongly by retiring the final seven batters he faced. Bradish also promisingly fanned five batters and has now racked up 15 punchouts over 10 innings across his two starts. He's lined up to make his next appearance at home against Pittsburgh.

Arias (hand) is expected to return to lineup Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

Arias has missed three games after taking a pitch off his right hand Friday. He was available off the bench Monday but did not play. In his absence, Brayan Rocchio has filled in at shortstop.

Latz will be the Rangers' starting pitcher for Tuesday's game in Arizona.

Latz earned another turn after allowing two runs and striking out five over 4.1 innings in a start against the Angels last week. The left-hander has made four starts and 23 relief appearances this season and pitched well in both roles, collecting a 3.13 ERA and 61:29 K:BB over 63.1 frames. With Nathan Eovaldi (shoulder) out for the season, Latz could remain in the rotation indefinitely if he pitches well.

Winn (hand) will throw one inning of relief in a rehab appearance for Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

Winn was placed on the 15-day injured list Aug. 20 after experiencing nerve irritation in his thumb. He pitched well after being promoted from Round Rock following the All-Star break, throwing 12.2 scoreless innings out of the bullpen prior to hitting the shelf.

Mahle (shoulder) is expected to make a two-inning rehab start for Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

Mahle has been on the shelf since June 15 due to a right shoulder strain and has slowly been building back up, but he'll take a major step forward in the recovery process by kicking off a rehab assignment Tuesday. At this stage of the season, Mahle may not have enough time to get fully stretched out for a traditional starting role, though he appears on track to pitch for the Rangers in some capacity later on in September.

Burger went 1-for-2 with a triple, an RBI and a run scored in Monday's 7-5 extra-inning win over the Diamondbacks.

Burger was activated off the injured list Monday but did not start the game. He entered as a pinch hitter in the top of the ninth inning and delivered a run-producing triple before scoring the tying run that sent the game into the extra frame. He finished out at first base. Burger may not return to a full-time role, per Jesse Borek of MLB.com. Texas manager Bruce Bochy said the club will "pick our spots" with Burger, who is still dealing with residual issues in his wrist. The Rangers have no shortage of options on the roster that can fill in at first base, including Rowdy Tellez, Josh Smith and Ezequiel Duran.

Tauchman went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBI on Monday against the Twins.

Tauchman singled in a run in the fifth inning and then drove in a second run in the eighth frame on a double. He has multiple hits in five of his last 10 starts, also recording four RBI and five runs scored. Tauchman remains the White Sox's primary leadoff hitter against right-handed pitching and has an impressive .776 OPS across 337 plate appearances for the season.

Smith went 2-for-4 with two runs scored Monday against the Angels.

Smith performed poorly in August, hitting only .147 across 22 games and 68 at-bats. His performance Monday marked his first multi-hit game since Aug. 11, a span of 12 starts. Smith has started to lose playing time against right-handed pitching and that will likely continue unless he can get back on track at the plate.
