Bennett (2-3) picked up the win Saturday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks over 6.1 innings in a 4-1 victory over the Yankees. He struck out three.

The rookie southpaw tossed 87 pitches (59 strikes) en route to his second straight quality start. Bennett, who was acquired from the Nationals over the winter, has proven to be find for the Red Sox, and through his first six big-league outings he's delivered a 3.27 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 25:7 K:BB through 33 innings. He'll try to stay sharp in his next start, which is set to come on the road next weekend against the Angels.

Martin did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Royals, allowing four hits and one walk with three strikeouts over 5.1 scoreless innings.

Martin kept the Royals off the board and fell two outs shy of a quality start, throwing 54 of 87 pitches for strikes with only seven whiffs. The 29-year-old has now rebounded from a nine-run blowup June 16 with two strong outings, allowing just one total earned run over 11.1 innings. He'll take a 3.00 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 90:24 K:BB across 93 frames this season into a road matchup with the Guardians next week.

Cole (2-3) took the loss Saturday as the Yankees fell 4-1 to the Red Sox, giving up four runs on seven hits and a walk over 5.1 innings. He struck out five.

Solo shots by Masataka Yoshida in the first inning and Anthony Seigler in the second staked Boston to an early lead it wouldn't relinquish. It's only the second time in seven starts this season that Cole has served up multiple homers. After two scoreless outings in May, June has been a lot less kind to the veteran right-hander -- he carries a 6.12 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 22:7 K:BB over five starts (25 innings) on the month. Cole will look to bounce back in his next trip to the mound, which lines up to come at home next weekend against the Twins.

The Blue Jays traded Juenger to the Athletics on Saturday in exchange for minor-league catcher Owen Carapellotti.

After being designated for assignment Tuesday by Toronto, Juenger finds a new home with the Athletics. The 25-year-old appeared in just two games for the Blue Jays, allowing three earned runs on two hits and two walks in two innings. The A's DFA'd Brett Harris to make room on the roster for Juenger.

Wacha did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the White Sox, allowing one run on six hits and one walk with seven strikeouts over 7.2 innings.

He was locked in a pitcher's duel with Davis Martin, opening with six scoreless innings before yielding a run in the seventh. Wacha threw 70 of 105 pitches for strikes with 11 whiffs while not allowing an extra-base hit. The 34-year-old has now logged three straight quality starts and worked at least seven frames in eight of 17 outings this season. He'll take a 3.31 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 84:30 K:BB across 108.2 innings into a home matchup with the Phillies next weekend.

Wilson (shoulder) is not in the lineup for Saturday's matchup against the Angels.

Wilson will miss his third straight game after being removed early from Wednesday's contest with a left shoulder injury. It's not clear if the Athletics are considering a stint on the injured list for the 24-year-old. Alika Williams will once again take over at shortstop and bat ninth Saturday.

The Angels optioned Moore to Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday.

Moore joined the active roster last week and went 4-for-20 with an RBI and 11 strikeouts while appearing in six games. With Jose Siri returning from the paternity list Saturday, Moore will now head back to the minors, where he sports a 1.053 OPS across 252 plate appearances. If his bat heats up again at Triple-A, the 23-year-old could draw consideration for another promotion later this summer.

The Angels reinstated Siri from the paternity list Saturday.

Siri is active for the Angels after spending the last couple of days on paternity leave. Before missing time, the 30-year-old slashed .275/.338/.493 with four homers and 16 RBI in 79 plate appearances this season. However, Siri is not in the starting lineup Saturday as Josh Lowe will remain in center field and bat ninth. Christian Moore was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake to make room for Siri on the roster.

The Astros are expected to recall Ullola from Triple-A Sugar Land prior to Sunday's game against the Tigers, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Houston has already optioned right-hander Kai-Wei Teng to Triple-A to open up room on the 26-man active roster for Ullola, who is set to receive his first big-league call-up.The 24-year-old has posted a 5.48 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 64:35 K:BB in 47.2 innings over 20 total appearances with Sugar Land this season, but he pitched more effectively after making the full-time move to the bullpen in late May, turning in a 2.70 ERA and 16:6 K:BB across 10 frames. Ullola is likely to serve as a low-leverage reliever while he's up with Houston.

Lin is scheduled to undergo Tommy John surgery, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Lin has been out of action at Triple-A since mid-June, and he'll now be forced to miss the rest of the season after deciding to undergo Tommy John surgery. The procedure is likely to keep him out for the vast majority of the 2027 campaign as well.
