  • Josh Naylor 1B | SEA

Mariners' Josh Naylor: Back in lineup

Naylor (shin/wrist) will start at first base and bat third Thursday against the Orioles.

Naylor missed the Mariners' last two games while dealing with a bruised shin and sore wrist, but both issues appear to have subsided ahead of Thursday's series finale. The 28-year-old has been heating up this month, slashing .250/.308/.500 with three homers, eight RBI and seven runs scored over 12 games since June 1.

  • Junior Perez RF | CHW

White Sox's Junior Perez: Recalled to big leagues

The White Sox recalled Perez from Triple-A Charlotte on Thursday.

He'll grab the roster spot vacated by the injured Everson Pereira (concussion) and could work his way into the outfield rotation on the south side of Chicago. Acquired from the Athletics last month in a trade, Perez has slashed .217/.292/.401 with seven home runs, nine stolen bases and a 23:84 BB:K over 56 games at the Triple-A level in 2026. The 24-year-old has loud tools but also major contact issues, so it could be a tough immediate transition to facing big-league pitching.

  • Jazz Chisholm 2B | NYY

Yankees' Jazz Chisholm: Third to reach 10/20 mark in 2026

Chisholm went 1-for-5 with a solo home run Wednesday in a 10-5 victory against the White Sox.

Chisholm's lone hit was a solo shot to right-center field in the seventh inning that capped New York's scoring in the contest. After going deep a modest six times through his first 56 games of the season, Chisholm's power has been more prevalent in June, as he's hit four homers through 13 games this month. With 10 long balls and 20 thefts overall, he joins Jose Ramirez (hand) and Oneil Cruz (hand) as the only big-leaguers to reach both marks so far.

  • Yankees' Paul Goldschmidt: Keeps mashing

Goldschmidt went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run against the White Sox in a 10-5 win Wednesday.

Goldschmidt gave New York a 9-3 lead in the fifth inning with a three-run blast to right field. The long ball was his second in as many days and his third over his past four contests. Goldschmidt is working on a nine-game hitting streak, during which he's slashing .410/.429/.718 with four homers, 13 RBI and four runs. He's been batting leadoff against left-handed starters, giving the Yankees a potent bat at the top of the lineup.

  • Zachary Neto SS | LAA

Angels' Zach Neto: Goes deep again Wednesday

Neto went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in a loss to Arizona on Wednesday.

Neto accounted for the Angels' only run with a 431-foot solo blast to center field leading off the game. It was the shortstop's second long ball in as many days and fifth homer across his past 11 games. Neto's .228 batting average through 330 plate appearances isn't great, but with 15 homers, 51 runs, 34 RBI and 11 stolen bases, he's providing plenty of fantasy value.

  • Nick Mears RP | KC

Royals' Nick Mears: Completes bullpen session

Mears (shoulder) threw a bullpen Tuesday and could go on a rehab assignment soon, MLB.com reports.

Mears was placed on the injured list May 29 due to a right shoulder impingement and appears to be progressing nicely in his rehab. With a rehab assignment on the horizon, the right-hander should be back in the big-league bullpen fairly soon, assuming no setbacks. Before being shelved, Mears posted a 5.12 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 15:11 K:BB across 19.1 innings.

  • Royals' Michael Massey: Clubs seventh homer in win

Massey went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Nationals.

Massey launched a 430-foot solo shot to straightaway center field in the third inning, marking the fourth Royals homer of the game. The second baseman has enjoyed a productive June, hitting .320 with three homers, three doubles, nine RBI and seven runs scored across 14 appearances, though he has yet to draw a walk this month. Overall, the 28-year-old is slashing .261/.278/.466 with seven homers, 12 doubles, 24 RBI, 20 runs and a stolen base through 57 contests.

  • Bailey Ober SP | MIN

Twins' Bailey Ober: Aiming to resume mound work

Ober (elbow) is optimistic about throwing off the mound this weekend, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

It would be the first time he's thrown from the bump since he was diagnosed with a right flexor strain at the beginning of June. Ober has been shelved for less than three weeks, so it shouldn't take him too long to get built back up once he does resume throwing off the mound. He's collected a 4.59 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 46:18 K:BB over 66.2 innings this season.

  • Mick Abel P | MIN

Twins' Mick Abel: Lined up to start Sunday

Abel (elbow) will travel with the Twins to Arizona this weekend and appears in line to return from the 15-day injured list for a start Sunday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

The Twins are seemingly just waiting for Abel to get through one more bullpen session before officially clearing him to rejoin the rotation for their series finale with the Diamondbacks. The right-hander has been sidelined since mid-April with elbow inflammation, but he's been terrific in two rehab starts with Triple-A St. Paul, yielding just one earned run with a 10:0 K:BB over eight innings. Abel threw 61 pitches in his last rehab start, so he would be limited from a workload perspective if he does indeed take the ball for the big club Sunday.

  • Lane Thomas CF | KC

Royals' Lane Thomas: Goes deep again Wednesday

Thomas went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Wednesday's win over the Nationals.

Thomas was one of four Royals to go deep, blasting an elevated fastball from Zack Littell over the wall in left-center field for a solo shot in the third inning. It marked Thomas' second homer in as many games and his third over the past five contests. The outfielder is slashing .267/.389/.556 with four homers, eight RBI and nine runs scored through 15 appearances in June. He started in center field Wednesday and has seen regular looks there and in right field of late, with Kyle Isbel (foot) hurt and Jac Caglianone shifting to first base in the absence of Vinnie Pasquantino (hand).
