Latz earned the save in Wednesday's 3-0 win over the Yankees, allowing a hit while striking out one across two scoreless innings.

Latz now has saves in back-to-back appearances, his first two of the season. The southpaw has been excellent of late, holding opponents scoreless in his last six outings (6.1 innings), allowing just two hits and no walks in that span. Latz's ERA sits at 1.08 on the year with a 0.48 WHIP and 14:3 K:BB across 16.2 innings as he's established himself as one of the Rangers' go-to late-inning arms. Texas' closer situation remains a firm committee, with Latz, Jakob Junis and Tyler Alexander all having recorded multiple saves while Cole Winn is also in the mix.

Williams (5-1) picked up the win Wednesday, allowing one unearned run on five hits over 7.2 innings in a 3-1 victory over the Rays. He struck out nine without walking a batter.

The big right-hander put together his longest outing of the season as he pounded the strike zone, firing 71 of 95 pitches for strikes while generating an impressive 35 called or swinging strikes. It was a strong bounce-back performance after Williams got tagged for six runs over six innings in Toronto last Friday, with Wednesday's quality start being his third in seven trips to the mound this season. Williams will take a 2.70 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and an MLB-leading 53 strikeouts through 43.1 innings into his next outing, which is set to come on the road early next week in Kansas City.

Rodriguez (0-1) took the loss Wednesday against the Rangers, allowing two runs on four hits and four walks over four innings. He struck out three.

Rodriguez looked good early, holding Texas off the board in his first four major-league innings. However, it was a different story in the fifth, when Rodriguez allowed the first four batters to reach in the frame, ultimately conceding two runs without logging an out. Still, there were certainly some positives to take away from the 22-year-old's debut. Rodriguez was excellent in Triple-A to start the year, posting a 1.27 ERA with a 0.90 WHIP and 20 strikeouts across 21.1 innings. He figures to make at least one more start with the Yankees before Gerrit Cole (elbow) and Carlos Rodon (elbow) come off the IL, likely to come next week at home in a rematch with the Rangers.

Rasmussen (2-1) took the loss Wednesday as the Rays were downed 3-1 by the Guardians, giving up three runs (two earned) on six hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out six.

The right-hander was lifted after 91 pitches (65 strikes) in a close game, but Tampa Bay's offense couldn't mount a comeback and get him off the hook for his first loss of 2026. Rasmussen did manage to keep the ball in the yard after serving up five homers in his first 25.2 innings this season, but that's been the only real issue for him. He'll take a 2.64 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 32:5 K:BB through 30.2 frames into his next start, which lines up to come at home early next week against the Blue Jays.

Eovaldi (3-4) earned the win Wednesday over the Yankees, allowing four hits and a walk over seven scoreless innings. He struck out seven.

After giving up six runs on four homers against the A's his last time out, Eovaldi responded with a stellar effort against the Yankees on Wednesday, matching his season highs in innings pitched and strikeouts. It's been an inconsistent start to the year overall for Eovaldi, whose ERA sits at 4.76 with a 1.34 WHIP and 30:10 K:BB across seven starts (39.2 innings). The right-hander currently lines up for a rematch with the Yankees on the road his next time out.

Vierling is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against Atlanta.

Vierling had started each of the last four games, going a collective 1-for-14 with a 3:1 BB:K. Though he'll hit the bench Wednesday, Vierling's outlook for playing time appears to have improved with Javier Baez (ankle) landing on the injured list.

Pasquantino (back) isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Athletics.

Pasquantino aggravated a back injury Tuesday that has been bothering him for a while, so the Royals will keep him on the bench Wednesday as a precaution. Salvador Perez will fill in for him at first base, moving Jac Caglianone into the DH spot and giving Lane Thomas a start in right field.

Soderstrom (shoulder/head) isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Royals.

Soderstrom landed awkwardly on his right side after attempting to make a diving catch in left field Tuesday and was eventually taken out of the game. Manager Mark Kotsay said after the contest that the 24-year-old hasn't displayed any signs of a concussion but is dealing with some soreness, per Martin Gallegos of MLB.com, and the A's will opt to keep him on the bench Wednesday. Carlos Cortes will pick up a start in left field as a result and bat third.

Brash was taken out of Wednesday's game against the Twins due to side discomfort, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Brash entered for the eighth inning Wednesday and threw just two pitches before departing with the training staff. The severity of the injury isn't fully clear, but the right-hander will have a team day off Thursday to aid in his recovery before the Mariners begin their next series against the Royals on Friday.

Dominguez was diagnosed with a left elbow contusion after exiting Wednesday's game against the Rangers in the fourth inning following a hit-by-pitch, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Dominguez was lifted from the contest after being struck by an 89.1 mile per hour Nathan Eovaldi cutter. X-rays were already taken and came back inconclusive, per Chris Kirschner of The Athletic, and Dominguez will likely undergo additional testing when the Yankees return home this weekend. Consider Dominguez day-to-day heading into Friday's series opener versus the Orioles.
