Olson went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI in Monday's victory over Washington.

Olson walloped a Jake Irvin sinker over the center-field fence to tie the game at 2-2 in the fourth inning, and a five-run sixth inning carried Atlanta to the win. The first baseman has been outstanding all season, hitting safely in 12 of his past 13 games and in 20 of 23 contests overall in 2026. He's slashing .278/.365/.589 with six homers, 10 doubles, 19 RBI and 19 runs, continuing to assert his status as one of the most productive hitters in the National League.

Irvin (1-3) took the loss Monday, allowing four runs (three earned) on three hits and no walks over five innings against Atlanta. He struck out four.

Irvin allowed just three hits, though one was a costly two-run homer as he took his third loss of the season. It's been a lackluster start for the right-hander, who owns a 6.00 ERA and 1.29 WHIP across 24 innings (five starts). Monday marked the 29-year-old's first outing without issuing a walk, though he did hit Ronald Acuna twice. Irvin's next start is tentatively scheduled for Saturday against the White Sox.

Elder (3-1) earned the win Monday, allowing four runs (three earned) on three hits and two walks over 6.2 innings against the Nationals. He struck out six.

Elder worked through a two-run first inning and pitched into the seventh frame to earn his third win of the season. After making 28 starts and posting a 5.30 ERA and 1.39 WHIP across 156.1 innings last year, expectations were minimal for the right-hander entering 2026, but he has delivered strong results with a 1.50 ERA and 0.97 WHIP through five outings (30 innings). Elder's next start is lined up to come Saturday against the Phillies.

Baker was sent outright to Triple-A Reno on Monday.

Baker was booted from the 40-man roster Saturday, and he'll report to Triple-A after failing to draw interest while on the waiver wire. He's batting .242 with one home run, five RBI and four runs scored across nine appearances this year with the Aces.

Freeman left Monday's game against the Dodgers due to illness, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

This may actually be a positive development for Freeman, who was suspected of exiting with a back issue that's been plaguing him for the first month of the 2026 season. He can be considered day-to-day moving forward.

Ko (quadriceps) is 7-for-16 with two home runs, six RBI and five runs scored in four games since being activated from the 7-day injured list Friday.

Ko began the 2026 season on the 7-day injured list after picking up a quadriceps injury, but he's been seeing the ball well at Single-A Ontario. He's already recorded a pair of home runs after hitting four home runs a season ago across 85 games.

Freeman was removed before his first at-bat during Monday's game against the Dodgers, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Freeman drew the start in right field and was scheduled to bat fourth, but he was lifted from the game in the bottom of the first inning. It's not yet clear as to why he departed, but as Saunders pointed out, Freeman has been battling back soreness for much of the young 2026 campaign. The team should have another update on Freeman shortly.

Pannone (forearm) struck out a batter and allowed three hits and no walks over three scoreless innings Thursday in his season debut for Triple-A Nashville after being reinstated from the 7-day injured list.

Pannone sustained a left forearm flexor strain last spring and spent the entire 2025 campaign on Nashville's IL, and though his rehab bled into the start of 2026, he missed just a few weeks of the Triple-A season before slotting back into the rotation. The southpaw will serve as organization depth for the Brewers this season, but his lack of a 40-man roster spot makes it unlikely that he'll see action with the big club at any point.

Acuna, who was removed from Monday's 9-4 win over Washington after being hit by a pitch on his left hand, is considered day-to-day after X-rays came back negative.

Acuna was plunked twice in the contest, taking a Jake Irvin sinker to his left elbow in the top of the fourth inning before being hit in the hand by an Irvin four-seamer in the sixth. The star outfielder appeared to be in pain after he was hit for the second time and was pulled from the game in the bottom of the frame. Atlanta has no plans to send Acuna in for an MRI, per Mark Bowman of MLB.com, but he could be held out of Tuesday's game as a precaution.

Triple-A Iowa placed Hollowell on its 7-day injured list April 12 due to an unspecified injury.

Hollowell possesses a spot on the Cubs' 40-man roster, but his injury will take him out of the running for a promotion to the big club anytime soon. The righty reliever made three appearances for Iowa prior to landing on the shelf, working 4.2 innings and striking out nine batters while allowing two earned runs on three hits and four walks.
