Pannone (forearm) struck out a batter and allowed three hits and no walks over three scoreless innings Thursday in his season debut for Triple-A Nashville after being reinstated from the 7-day injured list.

Pannone sustained a left forearm flexor strain last spring and spent the entire 2025 campaign on Nashville's IL, and though his rehab bled into the start of 2026, he missed just a few weeks of the Triple-A season before slotting back into the rotation. The southpaw will serve as organization depth for the Brewers this season, but his lack of a 40-man roster spot makes it unlikely that he'll see action with the big club at any point.

Acuna, who was removed from Monday's 9-4 win over Washington after being hit by a pitch on his left hand, is considered day-to-day after X-rays came back negative.

Acuna was plunked twice in the contest, taking a Jake Irvin sinker to his left elbow in the top of the fourth inning before being hit in the hand by an Irvin four-seamer in the sixth. The star outfielder appeared to be in pain after he was hit for the second time and was pulled from the game in the bottom of the frame. Atlanta has no plans to send Acuna in for an MRI, per Mark Bowman of MLB.com, but he could be held out of Tuesday's game as a precaution.

Triple-A Iowa placed Hollowell on its 7-day injured list April 12 due to an unspecified injury.

Hollowell possesses a spot on the Cubs' 40-man roster, but his injury will take him out of the running for a promotion to the big club anytime soon. The righty reliever made three appearances for Iowa prior to landing on the shelf, working 4.2 innings and striking out nine batters while allowing two earned runs on three hits and four walks.

Acuna exited Monday's game against the Nationals with an undisclosed injury, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

Acuna was hit by a pitch twice before leaving the game. The more concerning HBP took place in the top of the sixth inning, when he was struck on the left hand, though he managed to remain in the game to run the bases after being examined by the club's medical staff. Acuna will presumably be sent for further tests to determine the severity of his injury.

Dollander is slated to work as a bulk reliever behind an opener in Tuesday's game against the Padres, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Dollander was also deployed out of the bullpen to follow an opener during his most recent outing in Thursday's 3-2 victory over the Astros. The approach worked well for the right-hander, who picked up the win after firing 5.1 scoreless frames while striking out nine.

Cubs manager Craig Counsell said that Wiggins was placed on Triple-A Iowa's 7-day injured list Wednesday due to right elbow inflammation, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Counsell downplayed concern about the injury, noting that the 24-year-old righty should require "just a little time down" before he returns from the shelf. One of the Cubs' top pitching prospects, Wiggins made two starts for Iowa prior to being shelved, allowing five earned runs on seven hits and five walks while striking out 10 over eight innings.

Wicks (elbow) struck out two batters and allowed one hit and one walk over three scoreless innings Saturday in a rehab start for Triple-A Iowa.

Heading into spring training, Wicks was expected to vie for a spot in the Cubs' Opening Day bullpen, but he was shut down early in camp with left elbow inflammation and was later placed on the injured list. Given that Wicks tossed 37 pitches in his first rehab appearance, the Cubs may now be looking to stretch him out for a starting role, after Chicago's rotation depth has already been tested early on this season. Matthew Boyd (biceps) appears likely to beat Wicks back from the IL to reclaim a rotation spot from either Javier Assad or Colin Rea, but the Cubs may still be compelled to give Wicks a look as a starter if he continues to thrive while on assignment in Iowa.

Betts (oblique) resumed swinging a bat over the weekend, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Betts has been making steady progress while rehabbing a right oblique strain suffered in early April. Manager Dave Roberts noted that Betts will need to progress to hitting off a tee and soft toss before gaining clearance for batting practice, per Plunkett. A more exact timetable for his return could come into focus once he's given the green light to take batting practice.

Diaz is scheduled for surgery Wednesday to remove loose bodies from his right elbow and will be sidelined until the second half, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The injury provides an explanation as to why Diaz's velocity and results have been down early on this season. He was placed on the 15-day injured list earlier Monday and will be a candidate to be shifted to the 60-day IL when/if the Dodgers need a clear a spot on the 40-man roster. Manager Dave Roberts on Monday declined to name a closer replacement for Diaz, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports. Tanner Scott, Alex Vesia and Blake Treinen are the primary candidates to pitch the ninth inning for the Dodgers.

The Dodgers recalled Eder from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday.

The move corresponds with the Dodgers placing closer Edwin Diaz (elbow) on the 15-day injured list. Eder was acquired by Los Angeles from Washington on April 1, and across three outings in Triple-A, he has allowed two earned runs on six hits and two walks while striking out three across 5.2 innings. He figures to serve in a low-leverage role out of the Dodgers' bullpen.
