The Giants reinstated Miller (back) from the injured list Saturday.

Miller will return to the Giants' bullpen after making just two rehab appearances in the minors, during which he gave up two hits and struck out three batters over two innings. The 28-year-old southpaw owns a 3.18 ERA and 1.24 WHIP through 11.1 innings in the big leagues this year and is likely to compete with Caleb Kilian for saves immediately after returning from the IL. Tristan Beck was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move.

Leahy (5-3) picked up the win in Saturday's 4-2 victory over the Royals, allowing one run on five hits and three walks over six innings. He struck out two.

The right-hander completed six innings for the first time this season, collecting his first quality start on 90 pitches (59 strikes). Leahy has benefitted from some solid offensive support in 2026, with the Cardinals averaging 4.6 runs in his nine starts to help offset his 3.94 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 34:20 K:BB through 45.2 innings. He'll look to win his fourth straight decision in his next trip to the mound, which lines up to come on the road next weekend in Cincinnati.

The Giants recalled Brennan from Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday.

With Heliot Ramos (quad) landing on the injured list Saturday, Brennan will come up from Triple-A to fill the void in San Francisco's outfield unit. The 28-year-old has gone 0-for-9 at the plate in the big leagues so far this year but is slashing .341/.374/.451 through 92 plate appearances at Sacramento.

The Giants placed Ramos on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a right quad strain.

Ramos was taken out of Friday's contest early after his quad tightened up on him in the sixth inning, and he'll now spend at least the next 10 days on the sidelines. Drew Gilbert will likely take over as San Francisco's primary left fielder as long as Ramos is sidelined, and Will Brennan will come up from Triple-A Sacramento to replenish the team's outfield depth.

Susac isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Athletics, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Susac went 0-for-4 with a strikeout during his first game back from the injured list Friday, and the Giants will sit him down Saturday in an effort to ease him back into major-league action. Jesus Rodriguez will handle catching duties and bat ninth while Susac rests.

Tucker isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Angels.

Tucker will grab a seat on the bench to begin Saturday's contest after going 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in the series opener Friday. Alex Call will fill in as Los Angeles' right fielder and bat eighth.

Ballesteros isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the White Sox.

After going eight straight games without a hit, Ballesteros notched a single in Friday's win to break his streak. He'll step out of the lineup to begin Saturday's contest, putting Ian Happ in the DH spot and allowing Michael Conforto to start in left field.

Swanson isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the White Sox.

Swanson snapped his four-game hitless streak with a double in Friday's contest, and he'll now receive a day to reset after posting just a .369 OPS through 53 plate appearances since the start of May. Nico Hoerner will slide to shortstop in Swanson's absence, opening up second base for Matt Shaw.

Kelly isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the White Sox.

Kelly will catch a breather Saturday after notching three hits and four RBI during Friday's victory. Miguel Amaya will catch for starter Jameson Taillon and bat ninth.

Holmes (fibula) will be shut down from all activity for 6-to-8 weeks before beginning a rehab program, Jorge Castillo of ESPN.com reports.

Holmes won't need to undergo surgery to address his fractured right fibula, and the Mets are optimistic that the 33-year-old will make it back to a big-league mound before the end of the season. However, manager Carlos Mendoza said that Holmes will need to go through a spring-training-like buildup once he's cleared to resume activity, which will add another month or so to his timeline. All in all, it seems like the right-hander could be sidelined until late August.
