Sheehan (2-0) earned the win over Texas on Saturday, pitching six innings and allowing three runs on four hits and one walk while striking out six batters.

Things didn't start out promisingly for Sheehan, as he served up a homer to Brandon Nimmo to begin the game. Nimmo added another homer -- this time a two-run shot -- off Sheehan in the sixth, but that wasn't enough to prevent the right-hander from logging a quality start and finishing with the victory. Sheehan has allowed four homers and 11 total earned runs through 15 innings for a 6.60 ERA, but he has two wins under his belt and doesn't seem to be at any risk of losing his starting role in the near future. He's projected to next face the Rockies in Colorado.

Julien went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a stolen base, two walks and two runs scored Saturday against the Padres.

Julien led off for the sixth consecutive game, and he continues to excel in the role. He has 10 hits across 21 at-bats in that span, driving in five with five runs scored and two stolen bases. While Julien began the season as a bench bat, he should continue to get regular run at second base and designated hitter so long as he remains productive.

Moniak went 3-for-4 with two home runs and four total RBI in a loss to the Padres on Saturday.

Moniak opened the scoring with a two-run blast in the first inning and added a solo shot in the third. He later singled in the eighth frame for his fourth RBI of the game. Moniak is thriving in the early portion of the campaign, slashing .300/.313/.800 with five home runs, nine RBI and six runs through nine contests. He's started each of Colorado's past seven games and seems to have an earned an everyday spot in the lineup.

Machado went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run against the Rockies in a 9-5 victory Saturday.

Machado's third-inning, two-run blast pulled the Padres to within a run after Colorado built a big early lead. The star third baseman has struggled to get his bat going, hitting just .193 through 14 games, so he'll look to Saturday's homer to spark a hot streak. Machado does have a 13:12 BB:K this season, and he's managed to get on base at a .367 clip despite the low batting average.

Laureano went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run, two additional runs, a double and two walks in a 9-5 win against Colorado on Saturday.

Laureano's biggest contribution was a three-run blast in the fourth inning that turned a one-run Padres deficit into a two-run lead. The long ball was his third of the campaign and his first over his past nine contests. Laureano is slashing .269/.333/.500 with nine RBI, eight runs and three stolen base through 14 contests on the campaign.

Tatis started at second base in Saturday's 9-5 win over the Rockies, going 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a stolen base.

Tatis' first MLB start at the keystone came out of the blue, though he occasionally fields grounders at second during pregame work and made one MLB appearance tat the position late in a game in 2023. The Padres haven't revealed any plans for the two-time Gold Glove Award-winning outfielder to shift to second base on a more recurring basis, but he looked comfortable at the position Saturday, even turning a double play. Second base is generally regarded as one of the shallower positions in fantasy baseball, so it would be a major boon for Tatis' managers if he can play enough at the keystone to earn eligibility.

Feltner (1-1) allowed six runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out four batters over four innings in a loss to San Diego on Saturday.

Colorado gave Feltner an early 4-0 lead, but the right-hander couldn't hold it. He yielded three runs in the third inning -- two of which came on a Manny Machado homer -- and another three in the fourth on a Ramon Laureano blast. Feltner's ERA increased to an ugly 7.30 as a result of the blowup, though this was his first loss. He fired three scoreless frames in his first start of the year but has given up 10 runs over his past two outings. Things aren't slated to get any easier for Feltner, as his next start is projected to come against the Dodgers in Colorado.

Adam earned a save against the Rockies on Saturday by retiring the only batter he faced.

The Padres took a 9-5 lead into the ninth inning, and Bradgley Rodriguez opened that frame on the mound. However, Rodriguez loaded the bases with two outs, and with Mason Miller having pitched three straight days, manager Craig Stammen turned to Adam for the final out. The righty came through by getting Ezequiel Tovar to pop out to second base. This was Adam's second appearance in as many days since being activated from the injured list Friday. He's faced exactly one batter in each outing and has retired both on nine total pitches.

Marquez (2-1) earned the win over Colorado on Saturday, allowing four runs on four hits and two walks while striking out five batters over five innings.

Marquez was far from sharp, especially in terms of allowing the long ball -- the Rockies knocked three homers against him. However, he pitched just well enough (and just deep enough) to pick up his second straight victory thanks to a breakout performance by San Diego's offense. Marquez tossed five scoreless frames in his previous start April 6 versus Pittsburgh, but in his other two outings he's allowed a combined eight runs (including five homers) across eight innings. He's projected to next take the mound on the road against the Angels.

Walker went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Saturday's 7-1 loss to the Red Sox.

Walker accounted for the Cardinals' lone run, launching a 429-foot blast in the eighth inning. He's in the midst of a seven-game hitting streak that includes five home runs and three multi-hit efforts. While it's a small sample, the 23-year-old appears to finally be delivering on his immense upside, slashing .314/.386/.706 with six homers, 13 RBI, 12 runs scored and a stolen base across 57 plate appearances this season.
