Leahy earned the save in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Reds, allowing two hits over 1.1 innings. He did not record a walk or a strikeout.

With JoJo Romero deployed in a one-run game in the seventh inning, it was Leahy who relieved him with two outs in the eighth and retired four hitters to secure his first save of the season. The 28-year-old has now delivered back-to-back scoreless outings after allowing at least one run in his previous five appearances. In addition in Saturday's save, he's tallied 16 holds and owns a 2.97 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 66:25 K:BB across 72.2 innings this season.

Abbott (8-5) took the loss against the Cardinals on Saturday, allowing two runs on three hits and four walks with seven strikeouts over five innings.

Abbott issued four walks and hit a batter but kept the Cardinals off the board in four of five innings. It was an encouraging rebound after the southpaw surrendered six earned runs a week ago, though he remains winless in eight starts since the All-Star break. He'll carry a 2.65 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 125:39 K:BB across 139 innings into a home matchup with the Mets next weekend.

Hart is expected to be called up from Triple-A El Paso and is set to work in bulk relief behind opener David Morgan in Sunday's game against the Twins, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Hart worked as a starter early in the season while with the big club, but all three of his appearances in July came in relief. He's also been working out of the bullpen with El Paso, and he hasn't exceeded two innings in any of his past seven appearances. With that in mind, Hart may be on a pitch count of some sort Sunday.

McGreevy (6-2) earned the win against the Reds on Saturday, allowing one run on five hits and two walks without recording a strikeout over six innings.

McGreevy held the Reds in check despite generating just five whiffs on 93 pitches and failing to record a strikeout for the first time in his young career. The 25-year-old continues to work deep into games, tossing exactly six innings in all six of his August outings and posting four quality starts in the process. He'll carry a 4.17 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 40:11 K:BB across 69 frames into a home matchup with the Giants next weekend.

Sanchez did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 3-2 extra-inning win over Atlanta, allowing one run on seven hits and no walks with eight strikeouts over seven innings.

Sanchez opened with five scoreless frames before allowing a run in the sixth, generating a whopping 20 whiffs on 97 pitches. It was a strong rebound after the Cy Young contender allowed a season-high six runs Monday, and he's now delivered a quality start in 19 of his 27 outings this season. He'll carry a 2.66 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 181:41 K:BB across 169.1 innings into a road matchup with the Marlins next weekend.

Morgan is slated to serve as the Padres' opening pitcher for Sunday's game against Minnesota, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Morgan will be making his second start of the season -- in his first appearance as an opener July 6 versus the Rangers, he gave up one run over 1.1 frames. The right-hander hasn't tossed more than two innings in any outing this season, so he likely won't be asked to record more than six outs Sunday. Kyle Hart is expected to be called up from Triple-A El Paso to work in bulk relief behind Morgan.

Sale did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 3-2 extra-inning loss to the Phillies, allowing one run on three hits and one walk with nine strikeouts over six innings.

Sale needed just 78 pitches to log a quality start in his first outing in over two months, with a solo homer in the third inning being his only mistake. The veteran southpaw generated 15 swinging strikes and has now yielded two earned runs or fewer in 12 straight contests dating back to April 19. He'll take a 2.45 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 123:27 K:BB across 95.1 innings into a home matchup with the Mariners next weekend.

Bernabel was removed from Saturday's game against the Cubs due to a left knee and quad bruise, Kevin Henry of The Denver Gazette reports.

Bernabel's injury appears to have occurred when he fouled a ball off his knee in the second inning. He subsequently singled and came around to score but was replaced at first base by Orlando Arcia in the fourth frame. The fact that Bernabel was initially able to remain in the game is a good sign that he's not dealing with a serious injury, but he should be considered day-to-day for the time being.

Turner went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, two RBI and two stolen bases in Saturday's 3-2 extra-inning win over Atlanta.

Turner was a thorn in Atlanta's side all night, capping his performance with a walk-off two-run single in the 10th inning. It was the shortstop's 10th multi-hit effort in 28 August games, leaving him just four hits behind Bo Bichette's league-leading 172 for the year. Turner is slashing .300/.353/.452 with 14 homers, 64 RBI and 92 runs scored across 560 plate appearances and is tied for fifth in the majors with 34 stolen bases after swiping two Saturday.

Vientos went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 11-8 loss to the Marlins.

Vientos jump-started the Mets' offense with a three-run homer in the third inning. After seeing his 10-game hitting streak end Thursday, he's bounced back by homering on consecutive days for the third time in August. The 25-year-old began the month with seven long balls but is now up to 15 on the year while carrying a .246/.293/.439 slash line, 53 RBI and 37 runs scored across 375 plate appearances.
