Ramirez went 2-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 11-8 win over the Mets.

Ramirez sparked the offense late, singling and scoring in the seventh inning before adding a double, swiping a bag and crossing the plate again in the ninth. He's hit just .208 over 27 August games but has made his mark on the bases with eight steals in that span, trailing only Cal Raleigh among backstops with 11 on the season. It's been a strong rookie campaign overall for Ramirez, who's slashing .231/.287/.422 with 18 homers, 58 RBI and 59 runs scored across 477 plate appearances.

Soto went 2-for-2 with two home runs, two walks, three RBI, three runs scored and two stolen bases in Saturday's 11-8 loss to the Marlins. He was also hit by a pitch.

Soto was flawless at the plate and nearly carried the Mets to victory, launching a solo shot in the fourth and tying the game at 8-8 with a two-run blast in the sixth. Per Sarah Langs of MLB.com, with Saturday's production, the 26-year-old became just the fourth player in history to record 35 homers, 25 steals and at least 110 walks in a season. He's piled up 10 long balls and 10 steals in August alone and is now slashing .254/.395/.508 with 84 RBI and 102 runs scored across 596 plate appearances this season.

Cabrera did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 11-8 win over the Mets, allowing six runs (five earned) on eight hits and one walk with four strikeouts over four innings.

Cabrera was given an early lead but allowed at least one run in each of his four innings, including five via the long ball. It was the first time in 24 starts this season that the 27-year-old surrendered multiple homers, and he's now allowed four or more earned runs in four of his past five outings. He'll carry a 3.57 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 140:42 K:BB across 128.2 innings into a home matchup with the Phillies next weekend.

Peterson did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 11-8 loss to the Marlins, allowing eight runs on eight hits and three walks with one strikeout over two-plus innings.

Peterson was tagged for five runs in the first inning and three more without recording an out in the third, finishing with just 36 strikes on 65 pitches. It marked the southpaw's shortest and roughest outing of the season, and he's now allowed at least four earned runs in three of his past five starts. For the year, he carries a 3.61 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 136:58 K:BB across 152 innings and will try to rebound in a road matchup with the Reds next weekend.

Phillips earned the save in Saturday's 11-8 win over the Mets. allowing one hit and one walk while recording one strikeout in the ninth inning.

With closer Calvin Faucher deployed earlier in the game, Phillips was summoned to protect a three-run lead in the ninth and did so on 15 pitches. The 27-year-old has now closed out two of his past three outings and owns a 1.96 ERA across 18.1 innings since the All-Star break. For the year, he's logged three saves and five holds alongside a 3.20 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 42:20 K:BB over 64.2 frames.

Oviedo (2-0) picked up the win in Saturday's 10-3 victory over the Red Sox, giving up two runs on three hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out six.

The right-hander was lifted after 79 pitches (48 strikes), sticking around just long enough for the Pirates' offense to erase an early 2-1 deficit, and then some. Oviedo has looked good in three starts since rejoining the rotation, posting a 2.57 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 17:5 K:BB over 14 innings. He'll look to stay sharp in his next trip to the mound, which lines up to come at home next weekend against the Brewers.

Irvin (8-10) took the loss Saturday as the Nationals fell 4-1 to the Rays, giving up four runs on five hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out three.

The right-hander handled most of Tampa Bay's lineup without issue, but Josh Lowe launched homers off Irvin in the first and fourth innings to account for all the damage off him. Irvin will be happy to put August behind him -- over six starts he went 0-5 with an 8.78 ERA, 1.95 WHIP, 16:12 K:BB and 2.6 HR/9 in 27.2 innings. He'll try to turn things around in his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road next weekend against the Cubs.

Chourio went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Blue Jays.

Activated from the IL earlier in the day, the 21-year-old had a home run stolen from him in the first inning when Myles Straw scaled the center-field fence to catch it, but no one was bringing back Chourio's ninth-inning shot the other way off Toronto closer Jeff Hoffman to break open a 1-1 tie. Chourio had been sidelined since July 29 due to a hamstring strain, but he looked fully healthy Saturday as he returns to help lead the Brewers' playoff push. Through 107 games this season, he's slashing .278/.313/.481 with 18 homers, 18 steals, 68 RBI and 72 runs.

Uribe gave up a hit and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning Saturday to record his fourth save of the season in a 4-1 win over the Blue Jays.

The Brewers broke open a 1-1 tie in the top of the ninth, and Uribe closed things out in the bottom of the frame on 13 pitches (seven strikes). The right-hander has converted two straight save chances since Trevor Megill (elbow) landed on the IL, but with Milwaukee's regular closer expressing optimism that he'll be able to return when first eligible Sept. 9, Uribe's stint as the team's top save option may not last too long. He's been outstanding in any role, not allowing an earned run in 19 innings since the All-Star break with a 0.95 WHIP and 19:7 K:BB.

Stewart (shoulder) received another cortisone injection this week, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Stewart reported pain in his shoulder when he restarted his throwing program last week, so the Dodgers sent him in for another round of injections. He is now back to throwing following a brief shut-down period, and manager Dave Roberts said Saturday that the team still believes the 33-year-old righty could return at some point this season.
