Carroll went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in Monday's 7-5 loss to Milwaukee.

Carroll singled in the first inning to extend a hit streak to a dozen games and then later had a run-scoring single and scored as part of the Diamondbacks' five-run sixth. The outfielder is 15-for-46 (.326) with 11 extra-base hits (four home runs), eight RBI, six steals and 10 runs scored during the streak. He's already established career highs in doubles (24), triples (16) and home runs (27) and is now zeroing in on RBI. He's up to 66 for the season, 10 shy of the career-best mark he had in 2023, when Carroll was named the NL Rookie of the Year.

Gurriel went 1-for-3 with a walk, a home run and three RBI in Monday's 7-5 loss to the Brewers.

Gurriel unloaded a three-run home run in the sixth inning, his 19th big fly and fifth in the last 11 games. It was part of a five-run sixth for the Diamondbacks, who took a while to get their bats going after travel delays forced them to arrive in Milwaukee early Monday morning. Gurriel continued to produce with men on base this month, having knocked in 32 runs in 23 August games. He's up to 80 RBI for the season, four shy of the career-best 84 posted in 2021 when Gurriel played for Toronto.

Faucher earned a save Monday against Atlanta, striking out one and allowing one run on one hit and no walks in the ninth inning.

Faucher served up a solo home run to Drake Baldwin, but he hung on to record his 12th save of the season. The right-hander should remain one of Miami's top ninth-inning options to wrap up the year, though the team's committee approach at closer can be frustrating for fantasy managers at times. Faucher has a 3.42 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 48:21 K:BB over 50 innings.

Reynolds went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and a double against the Cardinals in a loss Monday.

Reynolds broke a 1-1 tie with a 432-foot, two-run blast in the third inning. He also had a double in the opening frame, giving him multiple extra-base knocks for the first time since he belted two home runs Aug. 13 against Milwaukee. It's been a solid August for Reynolds, who is slashing .310/.375/.586 with four long balls, 10 doubles, one triple, 14 RBI and 10 runs through 23 games this month.

Burleson went 4-for-5 with a solo home run, an additional run and a double in Monday's 7-6 win against the Pirates.

Burleson was already having a big game when he came to the plate with the score tied and two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning. The first baseman then left his final mark on the contest by crushing a 409-foot solo blast to center field to give the Cardinals the victory. This was Burleson's first four-hit performance of the season, and he's been swinging a hot stick of late, slashing .364/.391/.515 with two homers, 10 RBI, eight runs and a stolen base over his past 17 games.

Oviedo completed four innings, allowing one run on three hits and one walk while striking out five batters in a no-decision against St. Louis on Monday.

Oviedo looked like he could be in for a rough outing when he allowed the first three batters in the second inning to reach base, but he got out of that jam with only one run on his ledger, and he ended his outing by retiring the final nine batters he faced. Despite the strong bounce-back effort, Pirates manager Don Kelly gave Oviedo the hook after four frames consisting of only 53 pitches (35 strikes). It was a somewhat surprising move given that Oviedo threw 75 pitches across five innings in his previous start, though the team could just be opting to take it easy with the hurler after he missed all of last season while recovering from Tommy John surgery and several months earlier in this campaign due to a lat injury. Oviedo is tentatively slated to make his next start on the road against the Red Sox.

O'Brien (2-0) blew a save but earned the victory over the Pirates on Monday, allowing one run on one hit and striking out one batter over 1.2 innings.

O'Brien entered with one out in the eighth inning after JoJo Romero allowed a pair of runners to reach base. O'Brien escaped the jam by inducing an inning-ending double play, and he returned for the ninth to try to finish off the save. However, the right-hander was unable to do so, giving up an RBI double after hitting a batter with a pitch. O'Brien did manage to limit the damage to that one run, and he was credited with the victory when Alec Burleson crushed a walk-off homer in the bottom of the frame. Despite the blown save, it's notable that O'Brien cleaned up Romero's small mess, as the pair has been working as co-closers since Ryan Helsley was dealt to the Mets at the trade deadline.

McGreevy allowed four runs on six hits and two walks while striking out seven batters over six innings in a no-decision against Pittsburgh on Monday.

Most of the damage against McGreevy came in the the third inning, when Pittsburgh belted two homers to plate three runs. The righty recovered well from that rough frame, retiring 10 of the final 11 batters he faced, with the only Pirates baserunner over that stretch being wiped out on a double play. Though McGreevy had a three-outing streak of quality starts snapped Monday, he did manage to once again give St. Louis six innings, which he's done in each of his past five starts. Over that stretch, he's compiled a decent 3.90 ERA with a 21:4 K:BB across 30 frames.

Betts went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 7-0 win over the Reds.

Betts logged his fourth multi-hit effort over his last six games, a span in which he has gone 10-for-25 (.400) at the plate. He's up to 14 homers on the year, including three over 22 contests in August. The 32-year-old has added 58 RBI, 79 runs scored, eight stolen bases, 17 doubles, one triple and a .250/.320/.378 slash line over 121 games. While it's been a challenging year, Betts looks to have his hitting back on track in time for the stretch run.

Pages went 2-for-3 with a pair of home runs and four RBI in Monday's 7-0 win over the Reds.

Pages was productive in every trip to the plate. His first two plate appearances were home runs, a solo shot in the third inning and a two-run blast in the fifth. He reached on an error in the sixth that allowed two more runs to score, and he added a fourth RBI with his sacrifice fly in the eighth. He's had some struggles in August, batting .235 (19-for-81) with four homers and 11 RBI over 23 games this month, but he hasn't lost playing time. Pages is at a .273/.318/.466 slash line with 23 homers, 75 RBI, 60 runs scored, 21 doubles and 13 stolen bases over 128 contests this season.
